I think that the Galactic Marines 3 year long campaign on Mygeeto would be an amazing opportunity for another live-action movie set during the Clone Wars.
I agree with you on that, with how much conflict went on, with taking some ideas from the original Battlefront 2 mission on mygeeto

Picasso Versace That’s why I said a movie, so it’ll only be around 2hrs long and as established in TCW, each clone would be unique in hair, scars, tattoos, personality, etc. So although they have the same face, they’ll each be different. This also wouldn’t stop other characters from being in it like Ki-Adi-Mundi.
Oh how I wish Mygetto was a map in the 2017 Battlefront 2.

Speakin' as a former Marine, these warriors have a special place in my heart. I movie about them would be a great chance for Disney to have a story that pushes the PG-13 line. Show the Marines 'in the trenches'. Maybe do it 'a la Band of Brothers'. Granted, you'd only have 1 'face' throughout MOST of the story, but their personalities would shine through.
I really think it could be done.

I mean, in a certain battlefront 2 they are a reinforcement. Unless there happens to be another clone unit that wears purple armor and a white sheet in-front of their face..
And that other Battlefront 2 game also lets you play as ewoks, wampas, jawas, tusken raiders, gungans & geonosians
Why weren't the galactic marines used at umbara? They would have been perfect for such a hostile environment.
Arguably, the Marines would have fared better than the 501st and/or the 212th did, of course were it not for Pong Krell's sabotage of the campaign on Umbara.
@@duaneclarence8758 if it were not for the Sabatoge of pong krell. The 501 and 212 would have done better but they still underperformed in the battles and faltered In the campaign. I feel as if though the marines would have pushed through no matter what as pong krell would have had it since they favored victory over casulties.

Bacara was visible for a second on the opening scene of season 7 episode 9 of the clone wars with padawan kanan/Caleb dume and his master. Wish we got to see more of him in the show.
the snowtrooper helmet design looks really good, so its a shame we didnt get to see much of the snowtroopers or the marines.

In canon, the Kanan comics do, I believe. In Legends, one of the Clone Wars Adventures comics touches on a part of the battle that we kinda skimmed over in this video.

I have a deep rooted love of the Galactic Marines mainly from nostalgia.
Seeing as the design for the Marines was used for the specialty "Clone Commander" class in 2005 Battlefront 2, I have a lifelong admiration for them... Also doesn't hurt that I got to use a fuckin' shoulder mounted Chaingun when playing.

They are clones... all clones are among the best of the Republic. It's kind if the whole point of cloning an elite
They died. If your assigned jedi wasn't on top of his game and the clones couldn't compensate for their leaders incompetence, they would be mulched under a wave of steel and forgotten.

Would be so awesome to have an RPG video game playing as a clone in which you get to choose between playing two extended campaigns on Mygeeto or Felucia, fighting alongside Bacara and Bly. Fighting on Felucia would be as tough as fighting in Vietnam and the Pacific theater of WW2. Fighting on Mygeeto would be just as tough or tougher, and as the battle and the war goes on, the environments change around you, the cities turn to ruins, the planet gets cloudier from all the continuous smoke, and ashfall mixed with snow would become commplace. It'd be a nearly neverending Battle of Stalingrad with whatever the Mygeetan equivalent is of building-to-building and or street-to-street fighting.

They are my Favourite! As a Canadian they remind me so much of our troops. The Canadian Military is small but leads off of Quality over Quantity. There’s also being trained just like any other clone force but then exceeding through multiple factors and experience also reflecting our troops since WW1. 🇨🇦

True. If the Prequels were mostly clone wars with a bit of the Phantom Menace maybe showing Maul and young Anakin, then we could have had an amazing story with the war spanning nearly the whole trilogy, like how the rebellion fought the Empire for the entirety of the Original Trilogy.
Clone war more like bone whore its just anakin trying to get laid fuuuuucks phantom menace had more war. But it did have jar jar when I really think about it there's more bad than good now and that's sad 😔

Keondric Paige he was only wounded, he recovered and led the 501st with Vader until his death, then he was replaced by Commander Vill
Hell yeah Appo was a bad mf'er. I think it would be pretty great to get some more media covering the Rise of the Empire era where Vader and his boys were stomping around.
In legends, he was killed on Kashyyyk in cannon nothing has been stated. Though I like to imagine he became the new Rex and served alongside Vader all the way to endor where he was either killed or captured.

ok lets run through some of the basics:
1)
the mandos entire culture, traditions and civilisation is centered around combat.
to get most of your citizens to not only give up on 95% of their traditions and culture but embrace the OPOSITE is rediculus.
2)
most of the mandalorian economy was centred around combat.
the vast majorety of their money was made either by raiding (in the olden days) or by "exporting" arms, armor and most importantly mercenarys.
by embracing pacifism and shutting down their mines and military factorys they cripple their economy.
3)
to make this even worse we have to remember that this happened after a civil war that ruined their entire planet, leaving agriculture nonexistent and required ENOURMAS amounts of credits to not only build their habitat blocks (be that farmin or housing) but also importing the basic nessesetys to keep their citizen alive.
whos supposed to pay for that if you crash your own economy?
the government after fighting an increadebly costly civil war?
the senates waring faction that you just pissed of by declaring pacifism?
the senates peacefaction that you spend your entire cultures existance pissing of?

by declaring everyone who was against this decision to be a part of "deathwatch" you would massively piss of anyone who held even the tinyest amount of apreciation for the old ways (which at that point in time would have been basicly everyone) since you just branded the rolemodels of yesterday as todays terrorists.

you have just sworn yourself to pacifism AND pissed of a good chunk of the more than average militarist members of your sociaty... there is exatly 0% chance that this will work out unless you break your vow to pacifism OR grovel to others and beg them to come and save you.

the changes for germany were much less extream (most of our cultural identety stayed the same or at least similar) AND were guided/guarded by the allies over several years AND we didnt compleatly and willingly crash our own economy

There is no such thing as a season 7 in clone wars you know that right it ends at season 6 because everything after that takes place in the movies

The ww2 Russian campaign. Th e Germans pushed through and met heavy resistance. The only change is that the clones won. But this is due to the fact that the droids were deactivated.

Really hope mygeeto gets some screen time in clone wars final season. I’d love to see the delta squad actually fight too.
Should do planet history and species, how the universe was made the first hoomans or species and so on. Besides war and such, like first Jedi,first sith, how the force was found, kiba crystals ect.
