1. Surge protector with 6ft+ cord or extension cord.
2. Small portable sound machine or speaker to drown out hospital noise
3. Snacks

November Mom here! Loved watching. & save some outfits with tags on them in case baby don’t get to wear them all. You can exchange or regift. After I finished sorting I was like 😮 I already know I need to donate/ gift to another mom.

Congratulations 👶🏽🥳! I saw a video where the mother-to-be did meal prep. She said that it came in handy. So maybe do another big chilli; a few dinner/lunch casseroles and a few breakfast casseroles; breakfast muffins; stews...even pancakes can be made ahead and frozen and popped in the toaster. Comes in handy to new exhausted parents.
Team December mom, hopefully you don’t have baby on any of the holidays, I had a New Years Eve baby, now that she is an adult. She hate it. She says the biggest reason is that no matter what she plans everything is expensive for that 1 day and New year Eve seems to overshadow her birthday. Same stuff you hear about the Christmas and Christmas Eve babies.

Mom of 3🙋🏽♀️ who just gave birth 2 months ago. The hospital will give you mesh underwear and pads. I wouldn’t bring the diapers. Just use them at home. And make sure you get extra numbing spray from the hospital. They will give you a peri bottle at the hospital but it’s kind of flimsy. So when you go home, make sure you have your own nice one. Bring nipple cream to the hospital if you plan to breastfeed! It well be SO PAINFUL to breastfeed at first but nipple cream will help you heal faster between feedings plus give you some moisture so the baby won’t be latching to a dry nipple that’s already cracked😫. That’s really all you need post partum besides nursing supplies like a Hakka pump for your extra let down milk.

First of all, I love the Safari theme, and everything is like super cute. I cannot thank you enough for sharing all of this stuff with all of us. I am excited for you guys, I can’t wait to meet that little one, I really hope that you show a video and you introduced that little one to all of us, I know that’s like over sharing, but it really is a beautiful and a very sweet moment. When you’re online community can just take a peek and then, you don’t have to worry about people trying to kiss the baby. And then you also don’t have to worry about people trying to hold the baby. Because I know I would’ve been like weirded out by like a lot of people wanting to hug or kiss my kid., But virtually none of that happens. We can just send virtual hugs and kisses to our hearts content. Anyways much love, and God bless.

The quick squeeze of sweetness is for when they restrict your eating during labor. You take it when you're low on energy and a boost to keep laboring and or pushing.
As a doula, I strongly suggest you talk with a doula about positive birthing stories, ways to labor to alleviate the intensity of it, and take a birthing class. Also, trust yourself and your body. Speak life and positivity over your birth experience. Your birth will be unique to you, Shawn and baby Harness! I'm so excited for you all!!!
