I was born with HIV in the 80’s. My doctors told my parents I wasn't going to live beyond 1990. I had my first child at age 35. My first born son was my miracle baby. To my surprise in 15 months I had another boy. My sons look like twins as they are so close in age. Then at age 40, on December 18, 2023 I had a baby girl ...the baby girl is 4 months old. I come here to see how your baby is doing because your baby is as old as my baby. I don't feel like I am done because we are not doing anything to prevent another baby to pop. I am so grateful for this motherhood journey. It's all God's timing.....if motherhood is on your journey, it will happen no matter how old you are. All my children are HIV negative. So, ladies still waiting: hang in there.❤❤❤❤❤

Questioned a few things and Switched bk to an obgyn I used before and after his tests he saw NO problems..I kept my baby and she’s 7 years old now. Smart as a whip and has absolutely NO issues whatsoever ❤

Dr. Nina, I was 25 with my 1st and 41 with my 2nd. My son passed away 21 years ago in the Marines, and my beautiful little girl (25) is completing her masters at UTSA. I was certainly a lot more consciencious during my pregnancy at 41, than 25, because I knew what not to do. Eating properly and not putting on excessive weight was at the top of the list. I gained 75 lbs at 25, and 30 lbs, at 41, lol.
You look amazing, and your baby is absolutely beautiful. Congratulations!

I found myself working full time and taking on the caregiving role to a succession of close relatives for over a decade. It was another decade before I achieved relief from grief and peace. During that time I never met a godly man and by the time I came out on the other end I was into my 50s. Children were no longer an option biologically and I didn't want to raise an adopted child on my own. All my friends and network of support were becoming grandparents. Then I lost my uterus to cancer; another rough season. I feel that I lost out on a part of life that could have been so rewarding, but it wasn't my destiny.

All of this is sooooo important!
I got pregnant with my son at 30, & will be giving birth at 31 - I’m a first time Mom. Currently 38 weeks pregnant.
It was discovered at my first appointment that I had ovarian cysts! Completely asymptomatic - so I wouldn’t have found out until A) I got pregnant or B) I suffered ovarian torsion & had to have emergency surgery
All of this news was a lot 😅 thankfully I’ve had a healthy pregnancy, & my baby is healthy. But I will have to have surgery to remove one of my cysts after I have the baby.
