This is amazing and so helpful ..especially before uploading my content. I really know how to structure it to win now, before I start.. This is giving me the winning edge. All the other platforms I used failed me in providing me with what I needed to succeed.
So awesome, thank you. ive been stuck for weeks, months, years moving my content from platform to platform, not finding one that works and not knowing what I can do so i can grow and scale my business the way i need to and manage it easily. You've just shown me there is a way! Thank you so much. If id found this years ago id be a multi millionaire already !
Super great walkthrough! Thank you Allie! Quick question, is there way to set permissions to the Lesson/Categories? So it'll be, they have access to the course but they wont have access to all lesson/categories. We have a monthly thing going on but we don't want purchasers for the next month to view the last month's thing (Doing it by creating courses for each month will accumulate overtime!) Thanks so much!
Brev in GoHighLevel, you can set permissions for individual lessons by using 'Tags' or 'Automations.' This allows you to control access based on user actions. You can set it up so only current month's purchasers can access the content, while restricting access to previous month's lessons. This way, you won’t have to create separate courses for each month.
I absolutely needed this! However I want to ask, I need to re-arrange my lessons in My Online Program, but I don't know how to do that? They're a jumbled mess as someone set this up for me and I am taking it into my own hands and learning through RUclips how to do this. Any suggestions?
The format is pretty straight forward with a category/subcategory type layout. So just focus on what categories you want to create and don't go overboard. Those will be your tiles in the video portal, then related videos under each tile.
Thank you! So do i understand correctly that for my first course, I should create each module separately as products, rather than within the course builder's flow of modules > lessons? - and then just bundle my modules, as products, together in a single offer. which is in fact the course itself? So the offer becomes what on other platforms I might have built and sold as a contained course? I get this is great if you're sellng individual modules, but if my coaching product is the same as the course itself but I'm adding in group calls, do I still need to do modules as products approach? Thanks for your time and wisdom x
Yes, you’ve got it bro! For a tradditional course structure, you can create moduls as products and bundle them together in an offer. The offer would act as your full course. If your coaching includes group calls, you don’t need to treat those as separate products. You can simply add the coaching sessions as part of the course offer or use memberships to manage access to different components.
@@AllieBloyd Hi! Thanks for the clarification. Also, can you tell me the difference of a 1-step vs a 2-step order form and when to use it? Thanks Allie.
Allie thanks for the video, I learned a lot! I've a question though. In my country i don't have access to Stripe so I must use PayPal. I have already integrated my PayPal account with my GHL but I still cannot add a price to my membership offer... Have you heard about this issue before? Any ideas on how to solve that? Thank you a lot :)
Thank you Allie for the info you provided. Under Site details, I do not see the button "Download".Would you please let me know where I can find it? Thank you again.
That cleared up a lot for us, thank you. We got things set up but our Stripe won't allow us to offer free products. We have training modules we're trying to build for new team members, one of them being a GHL 'how to' for how we use it. It's not letting us keep it as free and one suggestion we got was to offer a discount/coupon, but that seems like an odd workaround for a training platform. Anyone crack that nut by chance? HL support is often great but they didn't have an answer on this one.
For the free product issue, Stripe typically requires a payment method, even for free products. Using a discount coupon is a common workaround, but another option could be to set the price to a very small amount (e.g., $0.01) if Stripe doesn't allow $0 transactions.
You are fantastic! Thanks for this. I am new to Go High Level, and have created my course, and am choosing between publish and "drip" for the subsequent modules after the initial one. I'm confused about "drip"...if I choose 7 days, is that seven days from when the learner opens the previous lesson, or completes the previous lesson? Or should I choose 1 day, because it opens when the learner completes the previous lesson? My DESIRE is for week 2 to not be open until week 1 is completed. Week 3 to open when week 2 is completed, so learners can't skip ahead. If this is what the drip feature is for, then I just need to know what number to choose in the box. Do you know?
With the 'Drip' feature, if you choosse 7 days, it will unlock the nxt module 7 days after the learner completes the current lesson, not just opens it. For your setup, if you want learners to complete each module before moving on, setting it to 1 day will ensure each lesson unlocks after the previous one is completed. This way, they can't skip ahead.
Hi Allie! Great video. Just a genereal question about highlevel. Would I be able to onboard Fitness Online Coaches that can themself later onboard other people who bought their coaching through higlevel. So that they could send out their trainingprograms and mealplans on highlevel?
I guess it depends on if the content is different. You can definitely tag the customer and add different video modules depending on what program they sign up for. I have new-comers that may start with just one course, and their purchase triggers that tag. I have others that are in my coaching program that get a lot more access and that tag triggers all of those videos to be added to their log-in. So there may be a way to set them up through tags.
Hi Allie! Is there a way to sell my course for example: I have 3 courses. course 1, 2, and 3. In order to get course 3, they must purchase first the course 1 & 2?
Yes, definitely. You can set them up in 3 different modules then set up a tag to be automated through workflows at the time of purchase to add the 3rd one.
Much appreciated for the info on bundling multiple courses in on offer. I was looking all over for how to do that and as you mention in the video it seemed as though it wasn't possible. Thank you for your tutorials. 😀
Hey Allie thanks for the clear tutorial! What do you think about the technical reliability (for the students)? I work with business consulting companies and I don't wanna use a system that has a lot of bugs or many log in errors. Thanks for your help!
I have used multiple course platforms over the years and it doesnt' have more than any other. No platform is perfect, and most of the issues come from email deliverability (your own issues or the clients unsubscribing in the past, etc). But, because it's built in with all of your communication channel and automation, it is way easier to address support concerns that it was with any of the others because it allows us to clearly see what the issue is, communicate with them in any channel and make any fixes immediately if it's our issue. I use it, and love it.
As with any program, there are occasional glitches. I haven't seen any more using GHL than I have using other course hosting platforms. The issues you may find are easy to fix, and even easier because often it's an issue on the user end and you can see all their activity, all the communications, all the offers they're added to right in one place so trouble shooting is much easier than others I've used.
If you're referring specifically to this video, it's on course creation, so anyone who has courses can utilize it! In regards to other content, some would only apply to local and some can be used by e-commerce, but it depends on which videos you're referring to!
Hi Allie, thanks so much for this great video. If I purchased the GHL starter package, do you know for sure if it includes memberships/courses feature? I read on an list that a salesperson sent, that memberships start on the $297 package. Thanks
I'm so glad you liked it! It does include it in the $297 package. If you want to use my link to sign up I'll give you a highlevel setup course and membership workflows for free! Let me know if you want them!
@@AllieBloyd Thank you! It would be great if you created a video of a facebook chatbot that based on a trigger word would ask for an email and then that email will be added to the contact record. Thanks again.
No, I had this same question when I transitioned from Clickfunnels as youtube URLs was how I had been adding them but you do direct uploads. Its very fast and easy. It also gives you the chance to audit your content which is a happy bonus.
I want to create an "Academy" where members can just see all courses offered, whether they are free or paid. One portal, all courses available to browse and purchase if there is a price. I can't find anywhere that shows me this - is it not possible? Do I have to create a community for that? I do not understand how people can view all the courses we have, and then purchase the ones that have a price - does clicking on the course link to the offer? And if I have to set up a community to do this, What if I don't want any of the other community features other than learning?
GoHighLevel doesn't have a direct way to create an 'Academy' with all courses visible. You can use Memberships to list courses, and link to the offer page for paid ones. If you don't want community features, just disable them and use the platform for course delivery only.
@@highlevelwizard yes but it doesn't show "All Courses" in the course library. Is there a way to list all the courses (memberships) offered on one page?
does GHL courses allow you to require certain courses as prerequisites prior to allowing progress to another course. can you set that sort of logic up with GHL?
You could do this through a workflow or structure your funnels in a way that doesn't present the next course until someone is completed with the previous!
Hey Allie this was super helpful! I'm just curious, is there a way to use a subdomain to host your courses rather than purchasing a new domain? THANKS!!
Thanks for this clear tutorial. I set my course and offers and all of the things up. I had lesson one published and everything else set to drip on certain days. So lesson 2 is set to drip on day 7, lesson 3 is set to drip on day 14, etc. I have a small group working through it to test it all out and its been well over 7 days and they still cannot access lesson 2. When I look in the progress tab, it looks like it is unlocked. Any thoughts?
I heard you mentioned you can add the offer in your funnel but I can't figure out how to do it. How does my client purchase the course from the funnel and then get access to it? DO they pay on the funnel or the course site?
they pay on the funnel and you would essentially create a workflow automation that grants a customer access to your course. I believe the trigger would be grant offer. New membership sign up is if they purchase on the offer page. Hope that helps!
Is there a way to make it so they get drip fed the course? Eg - say you did a 30 day course, but you only want them to see each daily course one day at a time (instead of giving them access to all 30 days).

Hi, so I have created a course and published it. But I have a highly annoying issue : Videos on the course won’t play as expected on iPhones. It won’t allow me to skip through a video and if it’s marked as complete - when I click play it just buffers whilst it’s playing for the start. It won’t skip through the timeline. Go Highlevel’s support have been useless on this issue. Strangely, it works perfectly on Android phones, iPads but not on iPhones properly. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you

@@AllieBloyd Thank you! It would be great if you created a video of a facebook chatbot that based on a trigger word would ask for an email and then that email will be added to the contact record. Thanks again.
@@edwardrodriguez8642 is this a possibility?
Great video - thank you.

Can we embed youtube videos? instead of uploading?
@@highlevelwizard do you do that via community and just disable the other community features? Still confused. Thank you for replying.
@@mothershipalliance6586you could make a funnel with it. But it does on the switcher when you click courses
does GHL courses allow you to require certain courses as prerequisites prior to allowing progress to another course. can you set that sort of logic up with GHL?
You could do this through a workflow or structure your funnels in a way that doesn't present the next course until someone is completed with the previous!
Hey Allie this was super helpful! I'm just curious, is there a way to use a subdomain to host your courses rather than purchasing a new domain? THANKS!!
I don't believe you can do this with the courses, but you can try. It's a different A record being added so it could cause conflicts.
I would have to see your settings and the way the workflows or memberships are set up to be able to troubleshoot it for you!
You create it as a product in the funnel and then add the offer access in the purchasing workflow!
Is there a way to make it so they get drip fed the course? Eg - say you did a 30 day course, but you only want them to see each daily course one day at a time (instead of giving them access to all 30 days).
Yes! You can definitly drip them.
Great help thank you
Hi Is there a way they automatically get access to the course instead of manually sending it to them
Yes, through the workflows!
@@AllieBloyd Allie thank you for responding I purchased your masterclass could i look that up in the masterclass to see how it’s done?
@@prosperamama It covers workflows in the masterclass but it likely won't be specific to this one thing. This is something I work with people on in my mentorship. I'd be happy to send you some info on it if you want, or you can schedule a call here: alliebloyd.com/book
Thank you
lota updates since then
Thank you for this! Has anyone figured out how to create a completion certificate for those that complete GoHighLevel courses?
You can do it via a workflow based on course completion
@@AllieBloyd Thank you so much! Do you have any videos or resources on this? It's proving difficult to find anything!
