Thank you very much. I am on the wagon with you. Going for the course.
Thank you for your advice i appreciate more than you understand! Love your feedback!
❤I will have to look into the course, been thinking about this course and the other courses like Data Analytics and one other one as well. I friggin’ love that you approve this course!
Dope! Thank for providing your feedback. I’m currently is the second course. Couldn’t agree more about the value of Google’s content.
From the looks of it, this looks way better than the sec+ or other security certifications I’ve seen.
The focus on actually taking you from an absolute beginner to some who gets it and the reason why.
I believe you should do this verification for the knowledge, not for the cert. I know soo many at work with little certifications but massive understanding, but most comments I see seem to focus on just gaining certifications to impress
Icon!
Thank you, Sir🙏
its excellent currently on course 7, can't wait to be done
Thank you so much for this ! I got my CompTIA certs because of you & network chuck. Next up for me is security+ should I then get this certificate ?
Thank you. Very helpful
I'm enrolled in this course and loving it, even recommended it to some friends in tech.. Absolutely loved your review!! Many thanks!
That is great to hear! Good luck to you in your studies and thank you!
Thanks for the review. I'm getting started in IT and am looking for a solid and engaging training and I'm gonna look into this one. Thanks for getting the review out quickly!
Sounds good, I hope you enjoy it! Good luck to you!
you need to know that these youtubers are pushing for this cert , and nobody in the real world care about the google certs , none have taken the course, i have the Google IT cert, and when looking for a job, you will never find in the requirements that says Google IT support.
Nice work and excellent info!
Thank you, my friend
Can you make a video on how this course compares to the Sec+?
Josh Madakor already made a video about the comparison.

@@ajinsato9389 thank you
@@ajinsato9389
looking forward this.
I just registered for this and I’m very interested in beginning my course with google.
You say entry-level but do you think this would be useful for CISSP holders/those going for manager or principal consultant positions?
I ask as to me this seems invaluable for a leader.... Many of us end up in strategy our whole career and so end up lacking a proper technical appreciation for what we ask others to do.... Very keen to hear your thoughts as not entirely sure if this will be worth the large time commitment but the content looks interesting!
P.s. Excellent video / thanks!
I'm on the 5th course right now.Although with SQL, I sort of breezed through and just took the final quizes and passed 97%. I am exhausted because I am speed runnning through these (been about a week so far), but I hope it will be worth it in the end. And yeah, a newbie learns so much from this, I think my CS background, software engineering and IT experience has come in handy for me. Most of these are revision so far, but I am also learning A LOT!
I'm doing the same thing GL hopefully it isn't bs
@@wahdadeal GL to you too.
Same, Im going through these lessons based on my Help Desk background, and skipping the documentation projects just focusing on the knowledge and the skills.
Hello... i just watched this video and i want to ask u one question ... are those courses free or paid .. and is it worth to put in the CV ?
@@vanomamporia5115 free for 7 days, then you pay. I am not sure if this will be worth it when it comes to adding it to your CV, but I am taking a chance because I want to become a Cybersecurity professional eitherway.
It sounds really good . How much is the tuition for this program
Great content... how is it as compared to security+ ?
Should I go through with this course. I have self taught myself reactjs, made some side projects on my own and a minimalistic weather app. I just hope when i actually complete this course I'll get a job or some sort of internship.
How would this compare to the comptia security +? I completed the A+ and thinking of moving forward to Network + then Security +
Im on the 2nd course and ive been learning a lot but in which course i will do hand on lab? All i do is reading and passed the quizzes.
Thank you for this amazing video :) Please i have a question i want to study the certificate but i don't have any experience in coding, Python or SQL i read that its for beginners level but is it really for someone like me have zero background in coding. Thank you for your help.
Would you recommend someone pursue the A+ comptia first or this certificate?
Looks like a comprehensive course. Probably better than all the expensive courses.
Hello! Are there any cybersecurity boot camps out there that I can join without a high school diploma or Ged ?
Is this google cyber cert
Security +
Then Cisco Cyber ops good idea?
I need to get this course done from start - finish by August 5th. Is this possible with no background in IT?
Regardless of what people think of the Google certifications and whether employers actually value them, the Corsera platform itself is great.
I earned the Google IT support certificate through Coursera prior to the CompTIA A+.
This is something I will absolutely consider taking prior to or after the Sec+ exam.
Avoid Comptia at all costs. It sucks
@@theowaf8822 why
I got my Google IT Support Certificate 3 weeks ago as well I’m doing IBM Applied AI certification as we speak
i took the google IT cert, and did not learn much, i learned a lot with the A+, so each person have a different opinion. and all these reviews for the Google Security are from people that have not taken the course , consider that.
@@shayanali5424 i took the google IT cert, and did not learn much, i learned a lot with the A+, so each person have a different opinion. and all these reviews for the Google Security are from people that have not taken the course , consider that.
I also like that they offer 30% off of the Sec+ exam after completing the course
I'm going to take a swing at it myself. Why not? Hopefully I can wrap it up in a month or two and save some $$$$
Are they giving you the certificate every course you are done it or when you finsh the whole courses
I'm not sure. If this certificate was any good, wouldn't Google themselves be hiring graduates of this Cyber security program to work at Google?
Thoughts?
As I understand it, Google designed this course specifically because they weren’t satisfied with the overall quality of the candidates who were otherwise applying for their jobs. Where are you seeing that Google isn’t hiring graduates of this program?
@@two7plumbing uh name one person who was hired by Google with just this certificate lol
How is this compared to IBM's Cybersecurity Analyst Certificate in coursera? I'm almost halfway through it and my only complain would be the inconsistent recording quality which sometimes become very hard to understand
Hey do I have to be at least 18 to take these? Im 16 and am interested in the IT certificate
Do we have any discount coupon?
Is it possible to finish that course within 1 month?
If you have the CompTIA Sec+, is this cert worth it?
Would you suggest this to someone with no cyber security knowledge at all?
99% chance HR doesn't value any of the Google certificates, but I'm probably going to learn it just for the fun of it.
Yea you should learn things for the skills, not for the clout
Do I get a real certificate sent by coursera by post after completing whole course or they will only email me a digital certificate
I've recently been interested into trying to jump into this field. Coming into this with no prior experience in a professional setting. besides maybe having some hardware knowledge on building a computer.
i feel these kind of courses might be a great start for me to see if this is something I could see my self doing in the future.
but I'm not 100% sure where to start or what certification to go for first. I saw that they have Google IT Support Professional Certificate and the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate.
I was curious on which one is better start to get into it, or if the content between the two , are too different that they cant be compared.
If anyone has any tips or advice or their personal experience on how to go about it i would greatly appreciate your feedback.
Start with google IT support
Gives you discount on comptia security but is it enough to pass?
This is such a good one Zach! I’ve been looking at Google certs more
Thank you friend!! ❤️
I love the information but I’m concerned more about the information sticking . Because we are just listening to someone talk about these things , I’ll take and pass the quizzes and then the information kind of just leaves lol. But I’ll at least plan to take the CompaTia + Certification next
Compare it to sec+ bro
Doing this 24 but finally pass my az500 1st
What's cool is you can also take the Sec+ exam afterwards at a discounted price and earn a dual credential (especially important for employment purposes). Was going to go straight into Sec+ after my CCNA but now I'm considering doing this first.
Google certificates are not really respected so I wouldn't call it a valued credential. I'd get it only for personal reasons not associated with job prospects. It's a certificate in which anyone can create one...I mean it respectfully. If you are considering Google certificate only do it if you are unsure about an IT route and want to explore some related topics. If you are sure about an IT route I would just jump straight into something aimed at helping you pass a Comptia certification.
@@cbot375 google certs are actually respected, many companies said they take google cert on same level as a degree.
@@praveshmaharaj4387😂😂
@@praveshmaharaj4387 Might be the dumbest thing I've read in my life lol
@@praveshmaharaj4387 Name one company that accepts a google certificate of participation as being the same level as a degree lol
hmm I am currently working on my A+
I have the experience but want some certs to back it up.
I may try to do it after I am done with that.
There is a lot of great information in there that could help solidify what you're learning on your A+ studies.
How much does the course cost?
Thanks for doing this video. I have just gotten access to this course. I am glad thta Grow with Google is teaching soft skills along with the hard (Python) skills. These soft skills are very important in the cybersecurity industry.
Agreed 100%
I will have to revisit now when I am done with ISC2 certified in cyber. However, what’s your take on certified in cyber compared to the google cybersecurity?
I think the isc2 deal is a money grab, this Google program is much more cost effective and practical imo.
ISC2 is def money grab. I took the course at self-paced and practiced the exams several times which made me feel comfortable until I showed up to take the cert exam and realised that the questions on the exams has nothing to do with what you learned in ISC2 and their practice exams. I was disappointed that I’m studying using other resources and will take it again. I’m looking to sign up for the Google Cyber course as well
Do you own TCM Security or You Just work for them?
Can a 16 year old take this course and be certified
I'm definitely going to sign up for this class
Good luck to you!
This people log you out from account and still charging you , then you can try resetting or trying to log in not allow try help support there is nothing ,
Just want step into new career. I'm warehouse worker for last 23 years. Turning 45 few months
do it! don't be afraid of changes
Now that Coursera is working with Google, will be interesting to see what Comp TIA can do to compete.
Maybe make their exams easier lol!
@@tcbobb1613 lol or just ditch the whole idea of a proctored exam, like this google cert lol
You can take the courses free if you have a library card
Ask to reset your password you won’t get any notification or email or code
Anybody have a coupon code or something for a good discount on this coursera course?
They have a esue they won’t fix 4 years ago
Wonder if I can speedrun it before the 7 day trial ends.
Same, best of luck.
Take the tests in the first week and get the cert.. then you can aidit the course after the 7th day.
INTERESTING🤔🤔
Is ig true if you tsle the google cert it prepared you to take the CompTIA Sec+ certification?
Can someone provide an estimate on how fast they can do the course? I have one month of free time and was wondering if it is possible to complete it within this time frame. Thanks!
i heard some ppl are finishing in 2 months with ease
awsome, is there a test at the end to get the certificate?
They have competency tests at the end of each section to verify your knowledge.
Yeah it looks like that course really teaches you a lot, but how much value this cert will bring you? Idk. Everyobody knows CCNA or cysa and its a requirement in many places especially anything government related. But this cert nobody knows about, i feel like youll have hard time finding a job with it.
They are….there has been people hired by Google and the employer consortium.
What I don’t know is if those people also had any other experience??
But based on my research, Google got with about 150 other companies who needed help in hiring cybersecurity professionals and they all agreed to hire people from this certification.
So basically you’re just parroting the marketing materials
Hi,
This question is for everyone.
Is there anyone that has got into this with no prior knowledge or experience that took the course and obtained a job?
If you have done this, can you respond with your experience in obtaining a job?
And if possible can you give what position, employer and maybe even the income range?
I started on the course but left it when I was told you can’t get a job with just this certification.
Im glad you left the course. If you’re not interested in getting more than one certificate then you are going to HATE cybersecurity
What’s the cost of the exam(s)?
You get a free 7 day trial when you signup then I believe it is$60/month after that, you don't have to pay for the exams, just the training.
theamericandreamacademy.org/
It's free here
Is it a free course pls?
7 day free trial and then I believe around $40/usd or so per month.
Damn bro you lost a ton of weight, good on you for that 👊🏽
Don’t forget if you can’t afford it, financial aid is available but you’ll have to apply for each course and it takes two weeks each time to be approved.
That is great info. Thank you!
**Dear Zack: Is that course for beginners??
Dear Martin, it does not teach you the fundamentals of IT, but they do have a IT Support Specialist program that would prepare you quite well for this course ahead of time.
At the end of the day it depends on the learner and where they feel comfortable though. Some people will grasp this information very quickly.
Good luck to you.
Is it free?
7 day free trial...$49 after the free trial
Rise 🔥🌳🔥🌲🔥🌴💨
Personally I think Google will out do CompTIA simple because the name behind it, Google, everyone knows that name even those outside of the tech industry. Nobody knows what CompTIA unless their in the industry. I think if Google keeps up pumping out these certification programs and innovative they’ll overshadow CompTIA. I tried CompTIA courses their boring asf Google courses keep me engaged
Very telling tbh
The only thing this is going to teach you is that you need Comptia or Cisco certs to actually break into an entry level role.
I started my career with the google it support certificate and the only reason it helped me is because I realized I needed my A+. You can not get a job with this certificate alone
Same here. I also got my a+ after google it support. I believe they are selling us google cert just so that we get comptia certs
its a very good cert, also teaches many things such as python, sql, and linux that S+ doesnt really cover PLUS you get 30% discount on the S+ with this cert.
So after this cert I go to Comptia or Cisco or do I do those two first?
@@praveshmaharaj4387 it’s a certificate not a certification. A certification proves you meet industry standards, where a certificate only proves you attended a course. You will not get a job because of google certificates. Point blank
@@towIie itsa certificate dont fall for the marketing even comptia is just another certificate provider, they just lucky to start first but they are not the authority on tech education. the it industry whole certfication system and paying for renewl is disgusting, plus most of comptia certs are for entry level and then they charge you alot for study guides, more can actually be learned in these "certificates" that you morons look down upon for far cheaper.
While I agree with most, if not all of what you’re saying, I don’t believe that you can be unbiased if the business is sponsoring you

No

@@BeyondAIR15 yes really, I don't know about your country, but in the country where I live, they ask only for experience at least 3 years of experience, and when you show them the certifications, they don’t pay attention!!
