Rory: "It's a street lamp."
11: "An electric street lamp about ten years too early."
Rory: "It's only a few years out..."
11: "That's what you said when you left your phone charger in Henry VIII's en-suite."
Hopefully the doctor want back for thst
“Son? Ha, you can stay 😁”
I love how he got excited at the prospect of someone thinking he’s young😂
This whole scene was so stereotypically spaghetti western and I loved every minute of it
Yeah it was filmed in Tabernas. Fort Bravo to exact. Which is open to the public when not being filmed.
It reminded me Back to the future part 3.
@@eliaspeter7689 ohh yeah same!
especially the bar scene lol
0:22 reminds me of a Doctor Who book I read where he said "You're looking at a guy who sees 'keep off the grass' as a challenge." lol
Mr Game and Draw ah, the decide your destiny is strong with this one.
Do you remember the book title?
ketevan davitashvili it’s a doctor who decide your Destiny book. Not sure of the exact one.
@@bmsvg7356 thanks !
Does anyone else choke every time Matt almost swallows that toothpick
Wimp
I bet that toothpick scene was one of his silly ideas! 😂😅
@@priscillateo1691Apparently you're correct.
When the Doctor says "Tea. The strong stuff... leave the bag in.", I was reminded of Spongebob ordering milk in the saloon."A glass of milk... 2 percent."
Oh and Matt's accent XD !
What you don't know is the Doctor once ordered milk in a saloon...in the first Doctor story 'The Gunfighters'!
HetaPastaH3RO HetapstaH3RO
It was actually a shot of milk.
Stolen joke from Back to the Future. Smith's Doctor is pretty similar to George McFly, who goes "Get me a milk... Chocolate!"
ruclips.net/video/yYnEmyq-0sA/видео.html
Tea that strong will keep you awake for two weeks straight...
"Like 'dry clean only'". Wait, does that mean his suit is dry clean only, but he throws it in the wash anyway? I think it does.
What?
“It’s like dry clean only”.
That explains why his coat looks a bit ratty
Anybody notice how the doctor changed his coat from a tweed jacket to a longer green jacket? He changed back to tweed at the end of the episode

I honestly thought maybe they came all the way to America to film this one but it was actually a western theme park in Spain.
Yep xD I visited the place when we were field trip to Spain for geology as there some really good geological sites around the area :P
They actually filmed a lot of westerns on the location before Doctor Who came around
Principal filming was done in Almeria, Spain at Fort Bravo/Texas Hollywood and some additional footage a few miles away at Oasys Theme Park. The bank was at Fort Bravo and the Sheriff's office at Oasys. They were both built for spaghetti westerns. The Spanish pueblo part of Fort Bravo was not seen but features heavily in the part British TV series Queen of Swords.
John Merill so it’s in good company
That's where the Dollars trilogy was filmed
Has someone been peeking at my Christmas list~
Me: lord sakes I hate to see what he wants on his BIRTHDAY.
The cybermen invading while the daleks are crusading of course!
@@nyotamwuaji6484 Probably.
No, a mystery.
1800s American: " Is you an alien? "
2019's American: "Is you an alien?"
2020's Aliens: "Is you an idiot?"
"He SAID he was a doctor."
No, he said he was THE doctor.
I heard the first one.
The definitie article, you might say.....
@@crabbieappleton a nice grammar joke
@@popcornfilms1 A classic line from the Fourth Doctor....
That order though. One of the best scenes ever. :D
man i forgot how great this scene was. literally checks off all the boxes. i especially love the music that plays when they're walking down the street
Me: *sees title of this video
Also me: "I wanna be a cowboy baby"
RIP Vine
I've watched the old series and my friend, I couldn't disagree more. The show is top notch in my opinion and all the darkness and turmoil is still there, he's just very good at hiding it, which has always been part of his character. Doctor Who is and always has been a show about change. The Doctor has been changing since the beginning of the shows run, the nature of his adventures change, his companions change, everything changes. That's the only reason the show has lasted so long!
Acknowledging, of course, that this comment is ten years old, anyone who thinks NewWho Doctors can't do "dark" has definitely not watched them. Jodie Whittaker is the only one I haven't seen any performances of that kind from, and that's mostly just due to the writing she was given.
Tea.. but the strong stuff.Leave the bag in.
Duru Demiröz lol an overly British man trying to be a rough and tough American cowboy cracks me up every time
Nah the right way is tea bag two sugars take out the tea bag and then add milk stir = good tea
That's what she said....
I shudder to think what else he included in his Christmas list 😂😂
Also, I love his transition at 2:07 after the guy says “I’m the undertaker sir”
Did my ears deceive me or did the doctor try to use an american accent for a moment?
Your hearing is correct lol
Yeah I was like yep. American accent.
Sounds like Tom Holland's Spider-Man if he was older
"Tea, but the strong stuff, leave the bag in..."
Krombopulos Michael I wanted the bartender to say "It's in the harbour". idk why
They should replace the name doctor who with "is you an alien?"
moffat give him back his christmas list xD
2:32 how my life is going right now
scott miles you live an interesting life
"That's what you said when you left your phone on charge in Henry The 8th's suite."
"Tea. But the strong stuff. Leave the bag in."
The alien that was teleporting here and there,he look like Cyborg freddy Kroger
I've always thought that too xD
The Eleventh Doctor, Amy and Rory were a fantastic trio.
Apart from this episode and "The Gunfighters" (1966), has Doctor Who done any other Western episodes?
Andrew Chapman no clue
@@miletilblight2181 a few. But it's books.
@@WhovianSentaiRiderFan Not really episodes then, just stories..
Amy's face after "a load of stones and lumps of wood"😂
That accent. Everyone's British American accent. Holy lord
+Nicole Song You think that's bad, watch the William Hartnell story "The Gunfighters". Not a single person in that story can hold their accent.
+Nicole Song
i am AMERICAN and i can never pull off a british accent
***** lol
I literally just finished watching that story, it's so true XD
Miss Fears I can
Im the undertaker sir hahahah
Matt is soooo extremely funny, I cannot stop laughing and watch it all he time I have
this is my favorite episode from a cinematography standpoint of all Doctor Who
bruh what is the doctors face at 1:47 lol it kills me every time
Everyone's British American accents in this episode reminded me heavily of Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks.
I loved this episode. It doesn’t get enough love
Indeed, its an underrated episode
Quite right. This episode catches a lot of hate and I really don't know why.
1:29 This was my favorite part of the season. Classic and hilarious. One of the reasons to love Matt Smith's Doctor.
When he walked into the saloon i honestly half expected him to go "howdy doodly-doo 🤠"
The Doctor attempting to be a cowboy had Americans collectively cringing
I'm a Canadian and *I'm* cringing. By the way, am I allowed to cringe at that since I'm not an American?
For some reason this reminds of the Movie Rango
1:36 I swear if I had my eyes closed I wouldn't have been able to tell that was Eleven talking...
OK 11 is trying to KILL himself "Tea. But the strong stuff. Put the bag in"
By far, my favorite scene from the episode.
While I did like the episode, ambiance and all, Ben Browder being there kinda pulled me out of the "immersion", to borrow MXR's favorite word. Sorta causes the ol' thinkin' meat to spot Ben, trip and slam face first into the metaphorical floor while it exclaims "Holy crap, its Crighton/that dude on Stargate!"
I've played my trumpet outside that very Saloon!!!
I really enjoyed Series 7, so far. Even if some fans didn't, you can't please everyone.
And to think, Matt was the one who asked for a toothpick, totally unscripted awesomeness!
I’m the undertaker sir.
Me: you better have a LONG layaway plan then. It’s gonna be a whole while sir.
2:47
I must be an American
That rapid gun clicking is so satisfying to me.
This one of the weird stories from Matt Smith's Doctor. Great fun.😎
Oops, thought I already saw this episode. Makes me think about the recurring theme of cowboy hats since the doctors “death”
the best american accent ever!
When I first saw the preview for this episode, I thought he said "aggressive STAIRS"... Figured he had been threatened by a staircase somehow!
One of my favourite episodes
I like to think he kept that tooth pick with him for centuries just waiting to get to be a cowboy
I think that this was one of the best episodes
Doctor's roundup! Right here every day! Doctor's roundup! C'mon, it's time to play!
an ad for oreo came on before this video, the guy was singing about giving an oreo to the bad wolf...
Probably my favorite scene.
J'adore cet épisode !! Merci pour toutes ces vidéos 💕
Back To The Future 3 and Terminator inside Doctor Who. I like where this is going
"In this exciting episode of Doctor Who, our favorite Time Lord enters Red Dead Redemption!"
I can't take this! I have noway to watch Doctor Who and I love this show!!!
God that was such a good scene when I first watched it still kind of creepy and me being a Texan yeah I can confirm this is how things work here
I lost it at the toothpick bit. OH MY HOTNESS OF FAILING AT USING A TOOTHPICK!
Technically they're alive, just in a different time. So cheer up!
Yes, season seven has had the mantra "all epic all the time" but that's only because of the 50th I hear. Dinosaurs On A Spaceship featured a big break in the Doctor's character (murdering Solomon). But that was at least acknowledged in a Town Called Mercy. But for the most part, the writing has been excellent (Asylum, Mercy, Angels, Snowmen, Bells, Cold War, and Hide all being well done), and Moffat always seems to have a plan for subplots, which is good too.
Ok I really want to watch this so badly.
So are Rose, Donna, Martha and everybody else if the Doctor travels far enough into the future... Rory's and Amy's life span were just, uh, shifted back a few decades.
Why would he order tea in a saloon
UltraGamer He's the doctor it's what he does best, Being random
The answer: he's the Doctor. Just accept it.
Because who doesn’t like tea
The doctor doesn’t drink. He’d be sitting there in fancy restaurant while everybody around him is drinking wine and he’d be drinking chocolate milk while drawing on a kids coloring book
He's British (ish)
When the doctor was the doctor
One of the best scenes in season 7
Doctor is so funny and strange I never understand him yet 😂😂
The Christmas list is back again
Oh wow, I *knew* I recognized him from somewhere! Thanks for that :-).
Favorite episode of of the Season!
Captain hunter!!! This is the past you've NEVER MENTIONED!
Not dead, just waaaaay in the past...
Hes saying hes mad that the ponds are gone.
Funny thing, he happened to have a toothpick in his pocket and the way he messed it up in his mouth. Funny bit.
From the moment he swung open those doors I lost it XD
He tries so hard.
Also, 1:46.
Loved this episode.
Why there's a yellow filter in all of cowboy movies 🤔
3:22 Things go from awesome to the only place they can go after awesome: Browder.
At least he wasn't dealing with Clantons this time.
01:55: "Who you is?" O_o
Holy good gracious, does anyone else here have synesthesia? 'Cause those stares the doctor was giving from seconds 43-49 were one of the most orange things I've ever felt, and I'm trying to understand why... Even if you don't have synesthesia, does anyone else feel like the way he was staring around was different then the norm? Trying to make connections....
Yeah I do
+Red Baron Well, the color grading here was basically completely orange.
Sadly no, but I always wanted to experience the joy of that phenomenon. I must say I'm pretty jealous right now
And now so is Smith's DR!!!!!
I love Amy's dress I need one!
Caroline Lamb there's a website called wornontv.net that has a large amount of identical/almost identical tv clothes worn on TV. However because it's been several years since Amy was on the show, her clothes have probably gone out of production. Also, for no apparent reason, TV and film fashion departments always seem to dress their characters in £300 skirts and £500 tops
“I got my tardis on the back”
'I don't need a new suit'. 'I'm the undertaker sir'. Lol
I liked this episode. It reminded me of Roddenberry scripts for Have Gun Will Travel in the 50s. Paladin was a cool SJW.
Texas Hollywood, Almera, Spain - one of the homes of the spaghetti westerns
"Son?! Ha, you can stay!"
Amy says Doctor twice for no reason and looks away twice.
Thanks, I remember when the Doctor had well written stories and was FUN
I see keep out signs as suggestions rather than actual orders
*Says the same man who put a keep out sign on his door when he was posing at a caretaker*
Leave a reply only if you know that Isaac here is John Crichton from Farscape.
I'm lonely.
What? I thought he's colonel mitchell from SG1?
@@theodoreeliaseronsten5468 Wasnt Chrichton played by Michael Shanks?

Tea. The strong stuff. Leave the bag in.
The doctor everyone.
2:50 - 2:53, look at the Doctor's watch XD
When I saw the trailer I didn't catch anything but "electricity something blah de blah has someone been peeking at my Christmas list?" :)
John Crichton :)
I wish someone would give him some work. He's a great actor.
