Miami University Honors College Year in Review (2022-2023)

In this report on the Honors College’s second year, we want to highlight the ways in which Honors alumni are positively impacting the quality of teaching and learning within the culture of honors education. In particular, we want to showcase the transformative gift made by George Daly ‘62 in honor of his faculty mentor, Dr. Reo Christenson, which is paving the way for innovation in teaching and mentorship of honors students. This gift -- the largest in the history of honors education at Miami -- ensures that the fundamental relationship between professor and student will remain at the heart of the Honors College experience.
