Mayflower Hall University Of Iowa Dorm Room Tour

Here is a tour of my dorm room at the University of Iowa! I really enjoyed living at Mayflower for both my freshman and sophomore years. I liked the proximity to the park and the distance from campus, it made for a nice community. I would recommend a bike for the warmer months and walking or taking the bus in the winter. You will most likely need to purchase some sort of personal shopping cart or wheeling basket for groceries if you take the cambus to the target near campus.

My son is moving into Stanley this fall - what did you like and need there?

@Sherry Spahn the rooms are pretty big and the bathrooms are single user/private which is really nice. I definitely think Stanley is one of the underrated dorms but I did have some trouble adjusting the heat in the winter (it was often too hot)
