Here's how I know Lucy is perfect for the show, besides the obvious. When she gives a backstory to something she has a similar pace and tone to the great Billy Gil. Perfect addition, as per usual!

I am well-versed in all these places that Lucy showed us............except for her apartment. 🙃
- Delivered the DI newspaper to Daum and Burge Hall for 2 yrs. Lots of memories and many more lost to time.....and alcohol.
- The Summit was the first bar I blacked out in. Not passed out......blacked out. As in I was at the bar, had multiple interactions with people that I don’t remember, walked home on my own, pretty certain I found a nice set of wooden stairs to lay down on for a bit on the way home, and then somehow got back inside the house despite all the doors being locked.
- Brothers was a fun bar and always a checkpoint to bar hop to on the weekends, especially during football season. Also got one of the best deals Ive ever seen with .10 cent wings Thursday. 30 wings for $3 as a college student? You win the game of life.
- Spent many an hour at the Journalism building, sometimes well into the early morning hours. I was always worried about getting kicked out of the building while trying to haphazardly put together a procrastinated project at 2 am, but looking back I couldve gotten even more use out of that building than I did.
Thanks Lucy for bringing back the memories. Go Hawks!
Lucy & Jess: I went to University of South Carolina. We went to the Florida v SC game last weekend. I hate to realize this, but it was my 50th birthday. That part sucked! So I treated our (my?) selves to club seats on the 50 yard line. My 15 year old son doesn’t like football, but inexplicably loves Gamecock football. We’ve been to at least 7 games (including the Gator Bowl SC v ND. And, again, we were winning in the fourth quarter and ended up losing. Just like Florida v. SC last week winning by 10 with five minutes left, and we pull a “University of South Carolina“ (or, Commanders) an lose. To kick me while I’m down, the Golics stayed in our hotel for the Gator Bowl and I never got to see or meet them. This long story ending in this point - it’s so much harder being a South Carolina fan. So, instead of watching my Gamecocks, I’m watched Iowa solely because of you! I check the over/under of Iowa every weekend now. totally fine!!! It was nice to vent. Despite my rant, Go Gamecocks (my college Alma Mater), Tar Heels (My graduate school) with whom should be the #1 pick and Heisman winner and, since I grew up in a suburb of D..C., Washington whatever-non-offensive nickname they end up being under Harris (glad they changed their embarrassing “nickname” and finally ousted most horrible owner ever)
