Happy New Year’s, dear friends! I didn’t realize that Everspruce is only available for Apple users. I did some research, and Vidder is a similar app that is available on Android. I hope you find the tips in this video helpful!
The app idea is so valuable for all the collections of seasonal decor we all collect (ie hoard 😂😂). My ADHD wants to buy more and has no clue what to get because it's out of sight - out of mind. Bless you @CanterburyCottage for always being right on time with what we need to bless our homes and lives ❤️
I have been guilty of buying double items😅 so I think that getting organized can save so much time and money and it feels amazing to know what you have! Happy almost new year! ❤
I’ve stored my Christmas ornaments layered in used tissue paper inside decorative Christmas popcorn tins for over 30 years and have never lost an ornament. Plus, they’re super cute stacked around the tree after you’ve decorated the tree! 🎄
@CanterburyCottage. To add a suggestion to the ribbon basket, you could add a cork to the end of the skewers to keep them in place. Easy to take off the corks when it’s time to replace a roll. Thank you for the great tips for organizing.
More great ideas, Sherry! My easy way of keeping rolls of gift wrap secure is with hair tie scrunchies - I buy the cheap ones that are kind of a knitted material. They slip over the roll to keep the paper wrapped up, but slide off easily for use.
That's a good idea ...in india we don't get d cardboard...we just get d gift paper...due to our tropical climate rubber bands melt n stick to the paper ...though rubber bands can be so handy
Merry Christmas Sherry ! I had to laugh when you pulled the lights out ! I talked myself out of an anxiety attack…LOL!!! The worse part of Christmas decorating …strings of lights ! I have been using cardboard pieces for years to wrap my lights! My Dad showed me that 30 years ago. For outside lights, I use wood boards to wrap them around since most of the time there is snow on the ground and cardboard doesn’t hold up when wet. I got a little more organized this year by telling our youngest daughter and our oldest GRANDDAUGHTER…”please go to my storage room and take what you would like”… The excitement of those two girls was so heart warming for me! My decor lives on in their homes, especially our oldest granddaughter…she gets married next summer and was thrilled to take things she remembers as a child to use in her future home Christmas decor 🥰🥰 You gave wonderful ideas for organizing! I use flange rounds in the wall and screw pipe into them to line my wreaths up ( I have addiction with wreaths! 🤷♀️) Right now in the spare bedroom there are 25 for our Granddaughter’s Shower and Wedding ! My Christmas wreaths are around 15 or 16 ! But like you, I need to see them , so clear bags work fabulous and they don’t get mashed and crushed when hung ! Also use this method for ALL my garlands , it was a game changer for me. No mashed, crushed garland ! And they take up less room and I can store totes under them hanging …win/win! Again…Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!! God bless 🙏
Nice organizing tips for those who enjoy many Christmas decorations. For me, being a minimalist, I have two bins, and a Christmas tree bag. One bin houses outdoor spot lights for the front porch and one bin for the Christmas tree ornaments. Natural garlands, greenery and wreaths for me only. Everyone do you and your own style!
How tidy! I love the gift wrapping cupboard. So easy to find what you have now. A few years ago after a major re-organise, I started a 'DO NOT BUY' list in my diary as an insert for December. Like you, I had a tonne of gift tags for some reason 🙂 So at the end of the season, I add the items I have an abundance of, to stop me from accidentally buying duplicates! I also tend to buy Christmas gifts earlier in the year so add these to the list too to avoid over-buying. It's not perfect but it definitely helps :-) Hoping you had a lovely relaxing Christmas and best wishes for a wonderfully creative 2023!
Organization is definitely important!! I have a lot of clear storage tubs, and I pack them away by room, and label them "kitchen," "family room," "living room," etc. This makes it easy when decorating next year. Also, I have some tubs that I don't use, and I put a red piece of duct tape on them, so I know I don't need to remove them from the attic. They are family heirlooms that I just can't part with!
I use many of these ideas. They are the best. I put up several trees, so I pack my ornaments by tree. The tree skirts and any extra lights also go in that box.
Hi Sherry. Great ideas! I love the idea for the ribbon and gift cards! Will be using your method pronto for both. Here is how I store decorations. My decorations are housed in cardboard boxes that once held copy paper. Each box is numbered on box and lid and contents entered in a journal by box number. All boxes are then placed under our staircase numerically starting with the largest and stacking them down to number 1. With all the boxes being the same size, they stack neatly. I separate decorations by seasons too. Took me years to get this organized. But this works for me. Didn’t buy a single box. During my career, I collected the empty boxes before I retired. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a safe and Happy New Year’s too.
I did this method years ago, but have had several big moves and the last couple days have been unpacking boxes of craft & holiday and lots of miscellaneous stuff that I had forgotten I even had. Tip: I use empty baby wipe containers for small things such as paint pens, chalk markers, push pins, paper clips, buttons and just mark with a sharpie what it is.
I feel so validated by this video. I have always organized my Christmas pretty much as you have. I also set up areas for particular rooms. I have tubs for the dining room, each bedroom, living room, etc. unfortunately I have absolutely too much Christmas-one fourth of my basement is only for holiday decorations (and I have a large basement). I just can’t make myself cull my collections. There will be the best yard sale ever when I’m gone!
I organized mine and gave it all away years ago to a gal that loves to have yard sales, stopped celebrating or decorating Christmass years ago when I found out it's not the birthday of Christ, it was so invigorating!
Totally unrelated to THIS post, just wanted to tell someone who would be as excited as I that I received 220 grit sandpaper in my stocking this year! I love ALL of your videos. Thanks for so many great ideas, and please keep them coming!
So good to see you today on this Boxing Day which we Americans don't celebrate. I kind of wish we would. I don't understand it all however the fact that Christmas is only one day and all of the time and love and work put into it is just suddenly over is kind of depressing. When I was younger I remember this time year as being very sad. I still feel that way to a certain degree but I certainly look at Christmas differently. My point that got lost is I appreciate seeing a familiar face the day after Christmas and someone who brings Joy to our life. Thank you Sherry! I hope you are enjoying this holiday season even though it's coming to a swift end. Hopefully you will continue to fill us with new ideas in the upcoming year. I have no doubt you will!
I would add a big rubber band around the ends of your dowels on your ibbon holder, so the dowels won’t slip out of place. Thanks for all of your great content
I love how you saved your Christmas cards from year to year... My mom died recently and I found the previous year's card.. it was a comfort for me.. thank you for the video.
Love the wreath system you created! I have been storing my ornaments in large bags for years too - it works perfectly! Thanks for sharing these great ideas!
I have been doing this too, but my totes are solid colour and will need to write on them what is in each. Did a major overhaul/got rid of a bunch of stuff.
I love blown glass ornaments and have many other breakable ornaments. One year I decide wrapping all these ornaments in tissue and putting them in little boxes was a waste of time. I decided to make bubble wrap bags in numerous sizes, either gluing them or taping them. I then use a shallow box and just layer them with no breakage.
All of these tips are very useful and the app sounds awesome. We have so many Christmas boxes going back 30+ years that we don't know what we have anymore. I went through 3 old ones this year and gave our adult sons lots of their childhood Christmas decor. Let them store it. LOL
Great ideas. I injured my right foot just after thanksgiving and was non weight bearing and I am still in a boot. I had to send my husband and adult daughter to the basement to retrieve the artificial tree and ornaments. Through some elaborate use of FaceTime and much frustration we at least got the tree up and some of the ornaments. I finally gave up trying to get other items like the wreath and outdoor items and decor for the rest of the house even though everything was grouped together and labeled. These tips would have been useful.
0h my gosh! Everspruce could organize my whole life. I stash Christmas presents/birthday presents all year long then can't remember what and where in the heck i stashed them. I've drug Christmas presents out all through the course of the day as I run across them. I definitely could hide my own Easter eggs! Game changer, for sure. Mind blown! Thanks, Sherry.
I like the idea of the use of the app. You could even just create albums or specific tags and tag photos in your regular photos app without having to use a different app. I've been taking photos and printing them out and attaching them to the sides of my storage boxes to make it easier to find what I'm looking for. I do this with my DIY stash and it has been tremendously helpful. Also, don't assume that this organizational technique is handy only for Christmas! After going through a total loss in a house fire 4 years ago, I would recommend cataloging your entire house in the same method you did your Christmas totes. It is invaluable not to have to try to remember everything that was in your house once everything has been burned away. (Or blown away from a hurricane, tornado, flooded, etc)
I thought of making a gift wrap bag like yours out of old blue jeans before I saw that there were clear ones available. Thanks, I think it would be easier to know what I have. Some years ago decided to wrap the top lid and bottom of some of the boxes I had my ornaments in just like real presents. i used a heavy duty metalic wrap. Then after the tree is up, I put the boxes under it so it looks less empty. Living alone with family that doesn't like to exchange gifts made Christmas rather sad sometimes. I still had gifts ready for anyone who might come by but the boxes, even when empty, still cheered me up, plus when it was time to put them away I could just pop them back in making one less trip to the storage.
What awesome ideas! Very timely as I have MANY boxes from years of collecting, living in & decorating a 2,400 sq ft house that were in storage. They've finally been brought out to be used, sorted, packed again and given to our daughters and grand kids!! I literally just got rid of 3 magazine holders d'oh. That ribbon dowel rod roller is just BRILLIANT! I have so much ribbon in assorted sizes, this is a great way to put colours, sizes, seasonal all in easily accessible bins!!!! Thanks 😉 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I love the thought of one less thing to cause stress at the holidays. I find the calm I feel when I arrive on time somewhere gives me more incentive to manage my time well the next time. Enjoy the year!
The Everspruce app definitely looks like a game changer. It make things so much more simple when locating an item. I store my gift wrap in a dress bag I purchased from the dollar store. I like your idea of using the cardboard from empty wrap rolls to corral the gift wrap. This sounds simpler than my system. I have been using the leg of a pair of pantyhose or a single thigh high stocking. I slide the roll in to the stocking and lightly knot it at the top. Happy New Year!!
Hi Sherry, Before I got started on putting everything away, I wanted to find some helpful hints -- I knew Sherry would know what to do! So many good tips from your community! Just another quick tip, take all of the batteries out of the small fairy lights before storing -- they can damage the strings and leak battery acid during the seasons. 😊
After taking the batteries out have a list of how many and what sizes you need for next year. Seems like each year I run out. This seems to work. Love all the tips....what about all the extra BOWS!!!?
Oooh, that tip for holding the paper tidy with cut up rolls is sooo good! I’m about to empty two containers of household “stuff” and pack up my little shop. Everspruce is so perfectly timed is seems sent from heaven. It’s EXACTLY what I need! Thank you so much. It’s good to see that someone else uses similar storage styles -reused tissue, I recycle Christmas paper to wrap decorations ( in colour coded boxes), label with fancy labels etc.. it’s fun to think in November “ what colour theme shall we have for the tree this year?” Because after 30 years I can do almost any colour!😅 I love your videos. Happy 2023, I look forward to watching next year 🎉
Great tips! I love the ribbon holder ideal, although I have really wide ribbon so will need a larger bin. I also love the card holder idea. The app is a great idea! An alternative to help get a similar outcome is creating an album on your iPhone and putting photos there. It sounds like it would give a similar result. Either way, thank you for the tips!
I definately need a seperate container for my twinkle lights, I always look for them for parties, halloween and Christmas and they're always tangled up 🤦♀️ I'm going to organize my gift wrapping supplies better too! Great tips! Thanks!!
Sherry, Thank you so much for another year of your videos. I have so enjoyed them and your editing. So, many great ideas and inspirations! Happy New Year!🙋♀️🌺🥰
Merry Christmas. I was not going to watch this video. I’m so HAPPY I did! Amazing ideas I will be using when putting my decorations away. I will be going through everything and donate duplicates. No more frustrated husband telling me what’s in the bin from the loft in the garage. Thank you so much.
Hello Sherry, great idea's, we(netherlands) selebrate 2e chrimas day and leave him standing until januari 6, so for now i will collect boxes and other handy containers, wish you a great New years day and best wishes for 2023,regards and again thanks for a magical x_mas marja
These are fantastic and practical ideas! This has been an area that I really get bogged down with and cannot find items from year to year🎄🎄🎄 Thank you SO much! Happy 2023 🔔🔔🔔
I have that same basket that’s on top of the cabinet. In fact, I have 2. I need a cabinet like that. I have my stuff in Rubbermaid tubs in the garage up on a shelf. A cabinet would be better. I also grab cards from the Hallmark and Dollar Tree stores dumpsters after the holidays so I have a LOT of cards. My basement is also unfinished and I plan on hanging a lot from the joists. I label EVERYTHING. I use recycled paper and tape and a thick permanent marker. The label maker fonts are too small when your tubs are up high on a shelf. I like to write detailed labels.
Great ideas. This year, as I was decorating my tree, whatever I did not use, I organized things in zip lock bags and put them back in the bins. As I undecorated the tree, it was so helpful to know I had a system to work with to make life easier next year.
I needed this so bad! Heavens I have tons of stuff. It will take me a very long time to do this but I'm really sick of trying to find things. I have so many boxes and totes . Thank you Sherry, Have a Blessed New year. Love, Rebekah
I love sharing ideas so Dollar Tree sells xxlg zip bags usually by the closet supplies. I can fit a wreath in the large bag which has handles that I use to hang the wreaths on a hook used for ladders. Same size cardboard boxes are good for storage but after my sister had a fire and a flooded basement, I realized plastic is better. All her handmade ornaments were saved because they were in plastic and floated on the 10 inches of water. When I switched over, I bought one tub a month so the cost wasn’t so shocking. When donating craft items or clothing, please be aware that many places have paid help and don’t really give back to the local community. They say they have online programs. Try finding a place that gives away the items for free. Our high school as a “ closet” like this as well as some churches. Also, places that serve the disabled often can use craft supplies.
Well aren’t you the early bird today! Loved your tips but especially Everspruce! I have so many totes full of stuff from moves, downsizing, to craft stashes and of course holiday decor. I get so tired of opening the same one over and over because I can’t remember what’s in there! I’ve tried labels but a picture is so much better! Downloading the APP as we speak!
SHerry I just found your organizing video and I love it...Without telling you all the why's and using up your space here I will just say a few. I love you most because you recognize how you can do things better than you did before, and are willing to share that with us, which in my opinion, is what we all should be striving for...some call it a higher level of consciousness...And you put so much joy in the process that the journey is actually fun...love all your ideas...let's make 2030 a great year...thank you Sherry
What a great video and perfect timing thank you so much. Last year I was determined to cull through all of my Christmas decor so I left it out in the spare room. You guessed it it stayed there are the entire year.
Thank you Sherry! Those are wonderful ideas. Happy New Year! By the old Church Calendar, today is the 2nd day of Christmas but most folks are putting that decor away & not keeping it out until January 6th. Whenever it is put away, your ideas are very helpful! You’re still the Queen of Decordom.
Thank you, Lydia! I will leave some things out, but most of it will get packed away this week because my next video is about winter decor. Happy new year!
I bought one huge roll of metallic wrapping paper. Every gift for any occasion gets wrapped in it. I have birthday ribbon, Christmas ribbon etc that gets used to differentiate between the season. It’s works well for me and less stuff to store.
I slide the plastic back on the tubes when I am done wrapping - this perfectly preserves the wrapping paper: I bought a container that is just for wrapping paper and long enough for the longer tubes. I keep it easily accessible in the garage.
Take the batteries out of those twinkle lights first! Lol I’m sure I’m others have said it, plus I’m a little late haha. Thank you for your video! I’ve watched a bunch of other videos but yours was the first to show ideas that actually worked for me/and my way of organizing! Thank you!!
Great ideas Sherry !!!! For my outside strings of lights, I use the plastic things that are used for wrapping extension cords around ,works perfectly, and makes putting the lights up so much easier ! Learned this from my father-in-law (aka) the king of Christmas lights...lol ☺ Happy New Year🎉🎉🍻
Love all of these ideas, but especially the wreath storage! I have been looking for a better, more compact way to store other than the expensive wreath containers. I have several of those but often they are too small. As I have many, many wreaths for all occasions, I will be setting this up ASAP!
The tip about the wreaths was perfect! I already had a rod hanging but never thought of using this for my wreaths! Worked out great and opened up more space for me. Thank you!
I have done some of the organization but always room to learn new one , like the ribbons storage ,and the app..thank you ,that’s why I love watching all your videos ,always easy and and improved…Happy New Year Sheri to you and family , wishing you good health , please keep them coming ..hug ❤️❤️❤️🎄🎄🎄🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Im dedicated to organizing this year & getting rid of everything broken, doesn't fit or never use. Starting with organizing all my Christmas items for next year. Thanks for the tips! Happy New Year!
Years ago I made ornament storage tubs using a Martha Stewar hack. Plastic cups glued to cardboard cut to fit and stack in the box. I stillmuse them. Great ideas for storage. Thanks.
My gosh! The cardboard sleeve around the wrapping paper. Going to start doing this. I really like that you mostly use items you already have around the house. Thanks again for the advice.
Hello! I saved up some Nestle Quick Chocolate Milk Mix containers. I have about eight or ten of them. I saved for a long time but my boys loved chocolate milk so it didn’t take as long as you’d think. And I put my delicate ornaments in them. It’s great for ones that are odd snapped (not necessarily round ornaments). Then I have three tubs that hold everything else. My tree I just put back in the box it came in. So far so good for that. The only thing I really need to organize better is my wrapping paper, tissue paper, bows and ribbon. What I’ve been doing is taking my largest gift bag and putting everything into it. It works out pretty good. I bought my tubs last year (when they went on sale after Christmas). And that was the best thing I’ve done for keeping all my Christmas organized. If you plan a bit and wait for sales, you can organize rather cheaply. Especially if you don’t really care about if everything matches or looks a certain way. Those Nestle Quick plastic containers I saved. Well I didn’t want them to look like that so I just wrapped them in Christmas wrapping paper!! Worked just fine. And my extra hooks. They are in an old plastic sour cream container wrapped as well. Then I just wrote “hooks” on the container with a sharpie marker. It all works just fine. ❤️💜💚
Just in time! Not only needing to pack and organize for this year, but downsizing to an assisted living apartment! Fifty years of accumulating Christmas items, I was organized two years ago but unfortunately due to illness and the Covid-19 situation it was a mess this year! Your video has inspired a new approach! Blessed New Year!
Normally I watch your videos thinking what wonderful ideas you have & this is no exception! So helpful thank you! Look forward to watching more of your videos in the new year 😁 Wishing you & your family a wonderful new year from the UK 👋🎉💝
i sort ornaments by color but I buy smaller bins that are easier to carry, they stack easily. i plan my colors prior and only bring down from the attic what i’ll need. didn’t really like the flimsy light boxes, i use gallon size zipper bags and neatly fold them to fit and all go into a box.
Good morning, Sherry! This installment is perfect.I'm going to be overhauling my Christmas decor and crafting supplies. Thank you for sharing! Stay warm, Bobbie. xoxo
You can find stuff at the thrift store. I got a old heavy duty medical cart that all five drawers had the adjustable dividers. I turned it into a gift wrap station.
I have been looking for a comprehensive plan to organize Christmas decorations and other things. Love your ideas. I've have tried to be organized , but as you mentioned, I get frustrated and tired and throw everything in boxes to be done with it. I have another area that is out of control in my house. That is craft supplies. I don't mean little, similar sized items, but odd shaped things, fabrics, large bolts of ribbons, etc.
Great info. For me I think I will get the app for my art supplies. It should help to know what I have and keep me from buying duplicates. I always pick up ideas from your videos, thank you.
I bought a wrapping paper organizer. It holds all my paper, boxes and tissue. It was worth the 10 bucks. I also bought an ornament organizer. The wreath idea is fantastic. I will be utilizing that idea soon.
I love putting up all of my Christmas decorations but I dread taking them down, I enjoyed seeing all of your tips and tricks, one of my favorites is to save the plastic inserts that the lights came with and use it to wrap the lights around for storage, no tangles, have a happy New Year!
thank you for the tips! Like the tube idea for the wrapping paper. I will snip off a section of the plastic wrap the wrapping paper comes in and secure the roll. I use a plastic drawer storage for gift card boxes/bags, bows, white tissue paper, colored tissue paper, and gift bags. I will try bagging more of mybornaments instead of a large floppy gift box.
Sherry - you never cease to amaze me in how talented you are and you have taken organizing to the next level with that app. What a game changer. I’m an apple use so I will definitely use it Christmas storage organizing but for my vendor booth business as well. Thank you again for the inspiration and for the video shared. Happy New Year!
Happy New Years. Looking forward to some more amazing ideas from you. I have done most of these for years. I found that the most important things that helped helped me the most is using clear containers ,ziplock bags and cardboard boxes to cut up and use to wrap thing’s around,to use as dividers and packing tape. These were my biggest game changer. For wreath I could usually find clear recycle bags and my husband hung a long curtain rod (from the thrift store) alone a beam in the basement(our basement isn’t finished) in the utility room and I’ll hang them from there. I change them up with the season. All my wreath from different seasons are there. One season always comes down when one goes up so there is alway room. They are out of the way but easy to see what I have. I use a long bin or an ikea plastic bag holder for Christmas wrapping. I hang that on the wall and put a clear bag over to keep out dust. Have a very blessed week. 🙂
Happy New Year’s, dear friends! I didn’t realize that Everspruce is only available for Apple users. I did some research, and Vidder is a similar app that is available on Android. I hope you find the tips in this video helpful!

Wonderful tips❗️I might even enjoy packing stuff away‼️🎄
That is a great App. I looked for Vidder on the google play store and cant seem to find it?
I will be using the wreath storage idea when I take my Christmas decorations down, thank you for the great idea

Same here! ✅
That’s a smart idea, thank you!
Great someone that does what I do. I buy the tins more for my collection rather than the popcorn 😊.
Sounds lovely.
So glad I’m not the only one!
Our Dear Ms. Sherry! Everytime you say "Let's get started!" I get the biggest grin on my face. I can't help it! 😁😆😄
@CanterburyCottage. To add a suggestion to the ribbon basket, you could add a cork to the end of the skewers to keep them in place. Easy to take off the corks when it’s time to replace a roll. Thank you for the great tips for organizing.

Oh my❗️🎄
I challenge you to reduce your decorations by half. I did & I know you’ll feel so much more in control of the Xmas chaos afterwards. Good luck
I organized mine and gave it all away years ago to a gal that loves to have yard sales, stopped celebrating or decorating Christmass years ago when I found out it's not the birthday of Christ, it was so invigorating!

Great ideas. I especially like the idea to place ornaments in ziplock baggies and then in the storage bin.
LOL
My mom did the same…gave me all of my childhood Xmas stuff…along with high school and college stuff too😂😂
Great ideas.
This is great! All I need to do is get as basement. It's so obvious, why haven't I done this before
@Patty Kelly...*Hahahahaha‼️🤣🤣🤣*
Thank you Sherry❣️ I wish you were my mom❗️I’ve enjoyed all your videos. You are welcome to my house daily! Blessings to you & yours ❤ And HNY 2023 🎉
Me too!! I still haven't found a gift I hid last year! Too bad Everspruce isn't for androids. 😔
@@nancyjones247 I just found that out. Boo hoo. I was hoping for a miracle aside from a brain transplant.
Great organizing!!! Gonna use them all!
Agree, doesn't even have to be on your phone, can be on a disk.
@@ginj5375 If you put it on a desk just make sure it's in a secure location, safe from flood and fire.
@@wuzapro Yep and update yearly
Great helpful ideas 🎄 Thank you. Wishing you and your Family a Very Blessed and Healthy 2023 ☃
Thanks 😉
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Those are both great ideas, Sue! Happy new year!
Cindy says "Thank you So Much, very helpful! Genius! I look forward to using some of these ideas."
I love the ribbon hack….but all ideas are great.Happy New Year Sherry
Happy 2023, I look forward to watching next year 🎉
Oh boy - you had me at the thumbnail!! 😮💨 I need this video right now. 😁 Thank you. 😍
Using coffee filters to wrap ornaments is genius! TFS
These are fantastic and practical ideas! This has been an area that I really get bogged down with and cannot find items from year to year🎄🎄🎄
Thank you SO much!
Your storage box looks like my husbands tackle box. Good idea😉. I like the wreath hanger idea
I needed this so bad! Heavens I have tons of stuff. It will take me a very long time to do this but I'm really sick of trying to find things. I have so many boxes and totes . Thank you Sherry, Have a Blessed New year. Love, Rebekah
I love sharing ideas so
Dollar Tree sells xxlg zip bags usually by the closet supplies.
Awesome ideas!!! 👍🏻♥️🙏🏻
You are so right! Many little boxes with the same stuff in them! 🎄
Merry christmas Sherry to you and your family. Great tips , I think the wreath storage was a fantastic idea. Loved them all.
excellent idea to use paper towel rolls to secure the wrapping paper ends!
What great ideas, Sherry. I had to buy more bins because I keep buying more stuff Happy 2023!
Oh no‼️More stuff‼️🎄
What a great video and perfect timing thank you so much. Last year I was determined to cull through all of my Christmas decor so I left it out in the spare room. You guessed it it stayed there are the entire year.
Hahaha❗️ I get ya❗️
Thank you Sherry! Those are wonderful ideas. Happy New Year!
By the old Church Calendar, today is the 2nd day of Christmas but most folks are putting that decor away & not keeping it out until January 6th. Whenever it is put away, your ideas are very helpful!
You’re still the Queen of Decordom.
I’m with you❗️Little Christmas & wise men get to the manger. 🤱🏽 🌟 God bless you❣️
@@pegeen6634 yep, I keep my stuff out- love it!
Blessings on you all year and next!
Hi Sherry. Lots of good ideas here. We were talking about organizing and getting rid of the bits and pieces before we pack it all away.
I will too. If only I can get my hubby to give me time, so I can organize‼️🎄
Great tips and products! Hope you had a lovely Christmas - and I wish you a healthy, happy 2023, Sherry.
Thank you!
You are so welcome, Susan! I am so glad that I could share a helpful idea!
Thank you for the idea of hanging the wreaths. No more smashed wreaths for me.
Im dedicated to organizing this year & getting rid of everything broken, doesn't fit or never use. Starting with organizing all my Christmas items for next year. Thanks for the tips! Happy New Year!
You got this!
Always wonderful to watch another one of your videos ...by the way your hair is looking amazing ! 👏 🙂🙂🙂
Years ago I made ornament storage tubs using a Martha Stewar hack. Plastic cups glued to cardboard cut to fit and stack in the box. I stillmuse them.
Great ideas for storage. Thanks.
Genius ideas you were reading my mind ❤and you are always right on time 👍🏾
Oh, thank you, Lisa! Happy new year!
Wow ! While some of your ideas are old friends the others have inspired me to do better! Thank you!
My gosh! The cardboard sleeve around the wrapping paper. Going to start doing this. I really like that you mostly use items you already have around the house. Thanks again for the advice.
You are so welcome, Kathy! 😊
So simple but effective…brilliantly done…🥰
Great storage 💡. Happy 2023
i sort ornaments by color but I buy smaller bins that are easier to carry, they stack easily. i plan my colors prior and only bring down from the attic what i’ll need. didn’t really like the flimsy light boxes, i use gallon size zipper bags and neatly fold them to fit and all go into a box.
Good morning, Sherry! This installment is perfect.I'm going to be overhauling my Christmas decor and crafting supplies. Thank you for sharing! Stay warm, Bobbie. xoxo
Genius idea for holding wrap in place
Very helpful for me. Thank you and Happy New Year to you and your husband!🥂🕰
If I can find a storage container like you show for gift tags I might actually look forward to wrapping presents! ❤
I’m pretty sure it came from Menards originally. Hope you can find one!
Try the tackle box section at any sporting store. They work great for batteries also.
You can find stuff at the thrift store.
I got a old heavy duty medical cart that all five drawers had the adjustable dividers. I turned it into a gift wrap station.
I put each strand of lights in a zip lock bag and reuse the bag and it works great .
I like the idea for storing the wreaths.
This is one of the best videos I’ve come across for Christmas storage!! Thanks
Great info. For me I think I will get the app for my art supplies. It should help to know what I have and keep me from buying duplicates. I always pick up ideas from your videos, thank you.
Great tips and ideas! I particularly like using the cardboard roll w/slit to put over wrapping paper.
Happy New Year, may 2023 be a happy and healthy one for you all.
New subscriber here! Because - this is one of the best organiser videos I’ve seen. Thank you!
Great ideas! I really need to get mine organized. Happy New Year 🎊🎆
Love learning about the Everspruce app. THANK YOU ! Happy New Year
Great storage ideas Sherry 👍🙂👍 Hope you and your family have had a very happy Christmas and I hope 2023 is a blessed year for you all. Ann x
My name is Sherry too. Love from Malaysia. Live your ideas
