This is a perfect tutorial for anyone on a budget! Christmas decorations for the price of $1.25 Mod Podge and household items!
Thank you, Lanet!
Love all of these…I really like the drum!
Thank you! I’m so tired of seeing cheap dollar tree crafts that look so childish. I love your creativity. The cone would be cute as a mussy tussy from Victorian times.
Aren't the gingerbread men just adorable? The quilted fabric makes all the difference.
Hell yea, I love this woman, thank you for making an extremely depressing and difficult time feel like it can still be filled with fun and joy. The price of these ideas are so low that you'd think it would end up sad and trashy, but oh my goodness they are SO CUTE and honestly 100% would be sold at a cute little craft store for like 20 bucks, you just know it. Ugh, thank you!!
These beat any mass-produced ornaments you can find anywhere. I’m speechless at your talent!
I've always thought homemade anything is much more appealing than store bought items. It's more homey and sentimental. Such beautiful Christmas items. 😊❤🎄
I couldn’t agree more! Thank you!
The Shiny Brite match boxes and the gingerbread men are just darling.
Thank you, Julia!😊
I noticed your glasses right away. They all look lovely on you.
All of the ornaments are wonderful. You say you have lots of ideas for Christmas....well bring it on!! Your captive audience is waiting. Thank you for sharing with us.😊
Oh thank you! I’m working on some ideas right now. I just took a break to read comments!
Sherry, I always say that you can pick up stuff that others would throw away and make into something beautiful and you’ve done it again. If I glued some twigs together, that’s just what it would look like but not you you make a very cute little lantern out of them. Everything you just made looks very beautiful. Thanks for showing us all how to do these little decorations. They are so beautiful and you are so talented.
Oh, thank you so much, Pamela! You are too sweet! 🥰
The little girl sleeping on the spool stole my heart.
Oh Lord willing, I want to let you blow my mind again. Sherri, these are so stinking adorable. Everything you do is just wonderful.
Very festive projects Sherry! You’re so talented and give us all inspiration to do our own designs!!
What great ideas! The matchbox Shiny Brite ornaments touched my heart, along with the little girl on the spool. Your creativity is such a gift to us each week! Thank you so much, Sherrie! 💗 💗 💗
Sherry, I’m always amazed at how you take bits and bobs and create such unique items!!
Oh, thank you! 😊
These trash-to-treasure transformations were fabulous. Many of these would make great package decor as well.
Another wonderful video :) I love watching you put your masterpieces together. I like how you collect this and that, then make it all come together. My Christmas tree has birds, flowers, pine cones, sticks painted white and tied laid on the branches. I loved everything you made. Can't wait for Monday:) God Bless. Hugs my friend, Rebekah
The little girl on the spool was so charming!! I absolutely adored it!!
Love all your great ideas. My favorite is the snowflake ornament. Very creative idea to use the clothes pin wire pieces to hold the scrabble tiles. Thanks Sherry for taking the time to share your ideas with us!
You are so welcome! Thank you, Mary! 😊
Oh course I love each one ! My favs were the little girl on the spool and the twig lantern....so adorable ! Thanks Sherry ! 😺
Thanks so much, Hope! 😊
If I didn't know better I would think you were an Art Teacher. I love your ideas.
I have a box of these old curtain rings.Had no idea what to do with them. Now I do. Thank you for these cute ideas. Also love you cone tree! Love watching you! ❤😊😊😊
My favorite is the adorable gingerbread people! Also, the cute little twig house would also make a sweet little crèche if you could find a tiny Holy Family. ♥️
Thank you Sherry! You do such a great job of explaining everything you do and even why you do it! Makes it easy to do the crafts later. I love the gold Christmas tree and acorn bells! So festive!

Thank you, Lynn! 😊
Sherry I can't even explain how much I look forward to your videos. I am not crafty at all so I am always enthralled with all the ways you take ordinary things and make them beautiful. Thank you so much for posting.
Wow, thank you! I hope you give some of these ideas a try (even if you don’t think you are crafty). Several of them are quite easy!
OMG, SHERRY! YOU ARE SO GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO. SO CUTE.
You are absolutely my favorite upcycling crafty person. I love your Channel. Thank you for sharing your skills.
The acorn bells are my favorite. I want to make a garland of them using jute twine. I would leave it out year round strung just about anywhere. 😊

I’ve watched all of this episode and I love these! You are BRILLIANT! Thank you so much for sharing your pleasant ways and terrific ideas. You are a treasure♥️
Aw. Love the sleeping child on spool project
The drum is my favorite
This is exactly how people in the Victorian era made ornaments and decorations! They saved colorful images from advertising etc and embellished them, adding them to cotton, pine cones etc.
your stash is a trove of treasures!!!
I can't put into words how much I love everything you make!Thank you for sharing your wonderful talented mind with us!
Wow, thank you! You are so kind, Barbara!
Sheri, these are truly beautiful ornaments, budget or not. Thanks for sharing your talents. Enjoyed watching you make these.

YES!!
Sherry - just when I think something looks great & you're finished - you add a bit more and it becomes FABULOUS!
I don’t have curtain rings but I’m a canner so will use old canning rings. Such a inspiring idea!
This was so timely for me, doing a stage set. Thank you so much!
I loved your Christmas 🥁
Thank you!
I’m excited to re-create the gingerbread man !
Cute 🎩 cute cut !!!!
Yay! Thank you!
Looking forward to the next video! As always, your creativity amazed me! I really liked the little drum! So cute. The stick lantern with the bird inside, made me think the bird had built it himself! The old Christmas card projects turned out great. Who knew a plastic spool could be reused to such advantage? Thanks, Sherry
Thank you so much! You are so sweet, Jeanne-Marie! 😊
Sherry, I have said it before and I will say it again, you are absolutely the most creative person ever! All your ornaments are precious ❤

@@CanterburyCottage *You're welcome, Sherry...my pleasure❣️*
Sherry, I love the bitty twig lantern, and who would have guessed that you’d put a bird in there. 😂 I like what you do with old greeting cards-so inexpensive but elegant. And didn’t I love the teeny Shiny Brite ornaments? Well, shoot! I think ALL the projects were clever and adorable.
❤ love them all! You are amazing
Thank you so much!!
All very creative and frugal ideas!! So many unique and fun ones to try. Can’t wait for more!
Love the tip of using clothespin springs to hold letter tiles,
Hi Sherry! I love these! They remind me of ornaments that I would make with my grandmother as a little girl. Those were such sweet and fun times!! I’ve made some little bird houses out of my old bath soap boxes for my tree! I enjoyed the video and now have some more ideas. Thanks!
❤️💜💚
I always enjoy your ideas especially when it comes to using items I already have. I already made some of the snowflakes both mini and regular size. Then I looked at them and said now what. I wanted more than just glitter. Being I save everything I still have the clips I took off. Now I can make a much nicer snowflake that is so much more. Thank you for all these great ideas. I love to make my own decorations more than store bought.
Sherry perfect timing .I'm making over some Christmas decor I have and making some from scratch..you are a true inspiration ❤️👍
Hi Sherry,
Thank you for your Christmas ideas! Each one is unique and nostalgic ❤
You are so welcome! So glad you liked them, Mary! 😊
So far I love the stick frame ornament and the thread spool ornament. 👏🏼👏🏼
These were adorable and am VERY blessed to have two of them coming my way!! Will also try to do one or two myself!
Everything gorgeous!!!! The snowflake was fantastic ❤❤❤❤
Such good ideas. Haven't started Christmas crafts but your inspiration has got me wanting to do begin.
Thank you for these great ideas Sherry. I have a couple clusters of acorn caps that fell out of my trees this year and was trying to figure out something to do with them…now I have a great idea thanks to you…bells…I think they will turn out great. I cannot wait to see what other great ideas you come up with. TFS
Thank you, Mary! I was thinking of doing something with the whole acorn, but I could only find caps in my yard. I guess the squirrels have been busy! 😜
I love the tiny Shiny Brite ornaments! You could use some of those Christmas balls/berries you had in your box in the one with the window box to look like ornaments. They are so cute! Thanks for sharing!
Wow, your brain is amazing! I just started crafting this past year and do not have the talent to look at an object and imagine it as something else. So for now, I just copy everyone else's ideas and put my own spin on it. Hopefully one day I will be able to just create on my own.
Dear Sherry, I love these handmade ornaments! They are so nostalgic and precious. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful ideas! I love the curtain ring ornaments. I look forward to what you make next week.

The acorn bells are genius! Now I know what to do with my big bag of acorn caps. Thank you, Sherry!
You are so welcome, Phoebe!
Went to a Barnes and Noble today. They had 3 different William Morris calendars for 2024.
I decided to buy the wall calendar because there were only two left. I figured I should, just in case Sherry comes up with some great new ideas for us! 😹
Sherry, that drum is so precious! I love all of them but I'm going to pick up acorn caps right now. Thank you so much for your inspiration. God bless ❤
Thank you! So glad you liked these ideas!

Such great ideas! The acorn bells were really creative! Love the birds, as always
Thanks so much, Jackie! 😊
Hi Sherry. Terrific Christmas decorating ideas video! This year our toddler grandchild will be right at 2 years old. I have been mulling over how I would decorate our huge 10 foot high family tree with no breakable ornaments. Want our grandchild to be able to touch the tree without worrying about any breaking of glass ornaments. Love the clothes pin snow flakes ornaments will definitely be made. Loved all the projects as always. Always look forward to your videos. Great job! Love the gingerbread pillow too.
Wonderful ideas. You are always amazing. 😊
Thanks so much 😊
All the crafts you made were really cute! I especially liked the clothespin snowflake and the scrabble 'SNOW'. You have so many great ideas! Thank you Sherry!
I love hand made Christmas Ornaments. This year I am making “candy sticks” for my red, white, and wood ornament theme. Cut a reusable plastic straw to about the length of a dollar bill. I tore thin strips of red and white mattress ticking long enough to tuck in the end and glue with a drop of glue. Begun twisting the fabric tightly from the top down tucking in the end when the candy stripe is done. I made a small red twine hanger to glue to the back. On the top of the stick I glued pine sprigs and a white plastic snow flake. I used a little Decoupage on the twisted fabric to bind the twists. Tea or coffee dyed red and white pipe cleaners twisted into candy canes are inexpensive and look rustic and woodsy.
I bet your candy sticks are adorable! I also love your idea of using red, white, and wood for your tree. I haven’t decided on a tree theme this year. It may be “dog treats” because my new puppy gets into everything! 😜
You always amaze me, but I really enjoyed the crafts today.
Wonderful ideas. The drum is so cute. Thank you.🥁
I love the acorn top bells!!
I love the acorn bells, great idea!
I would be hard pressed to pick just one of these cute decorations! Most can be made with stuff around the house. You are soooooo creative! Thanks for these great projects!
Each one unique, but really liked the clothes pin snowflake and using every bit of the clothes pins!
Omg the little gingerbread men are sooooo cute 🥰
These ornaments were so charming and so clever Sherry. My favorites were the mini Shiny Brite boxes. They were adorable! I look forward to seeing what you'll create with little odds and ends. So clever.

More wonderful ideas from Sherry! You make me glad every Monday. I thrifted two bags of those curtain rings from Habitat Restore because I remember you doing past projects-now I have to find those videos and can do these as well. Thanks for your special talents!
