Fun fact! Female reindeers have antlers during winter while male reindeers shed theirs during late fall. So rudolf (and all of Santa’s reindeers) are technically female! ☺
Another fun fact….All commercial angels are female, but all angels in the Bible are male!

The prices were high but that Annalee fawn was a steal - even with the missing blanket & ribbon reins. The larger ones were, for the most part, discontinued. I'm blown away you found a large one. That one dates back to the 70's. I'm a huge Annalee collector so this is my jam.

You got an Anna Lee Rudolph!!! My parents collected Anna Lee Christmas figures which of course turned into them collecting Anna Lee for every holiday! Thank you for bringing back the memories. He is the cutest!!! And $10 was a steal! Love, love, love him riding shotgun.
I went to the same estate sale Sunday like an hour before they closed and even then I too was overwhelmed by the amount of STUFF!
Things I learned from talking to the company, the lady had an antique store so I think they brought some stuff over, those little flower animals she made herself and she was a collector as well. I got some nice dinner wear cuz holy moly there was so much of that.
She sounds like an interesting lady ❤

Your deer is From Anna Lee. The face is hand painted and they are pricey when new. They are made in Meridith New Hampshire. I have a whole collection of them

Have some patience. She has said they will going back there just after Christmas so she can spend time with her family. She has always said LA would be her main home for for now at least.

I have that reindeer too!! He is missing his “saddle”. I collect Anna Lee Christmas characters 🎄🎄🎄There are hundreds ( elves, snowmen, animals, etc) and each one is hand painted and unique. 🎉

This is one of the few channels i have to see every single video on schedule ❤
We've used regular dressers as changing tables for my kiddos. Even after it is lived its life out in the guest room and if you still want it, you'll have a nice sturdy changing table! I have just put the changing pad on top and screwed the strap onto the back of the dresser. This has also helped us on saving money by not buying pieces that we won't need longterm.
This one had a red felt saddle and green saddle bags. 1971. No antlers. Beautiful.

Make sure you use wool felt on your reindeer, not synthetic felt. It is a bit more expensive but it is worth it because it will turn out much better.
Your reindeer is an Anna Lee figure. On ebay for $45! Looks like it had a blanket on her back. Good job!

Many assisted livings allow residents to bring their bed from home.
I also wonder if she downsized into an apartment for a while or just to store items, after selling a larger home.

I really like all the white in the house because it's a storybook house. It's very Tudor. I wonder if you have considered moving the kitchen to the bedroom area and having your bedroom moved to the kitchen area? I can't wait to see how the bedroom turns out.

What a great idea (but expensive!). Their bedroom is in such a social part of the house so I agree with you -- it's just too public. But it would likely cost a huge amount to switch them around.
I love your dark and moody esthetic and how you incorporate it into your home. I would have to use so many lights and my electric bill would be too big. Also lights create heat, even LED, and my summers are extremely hot already, so I will just enjoy watching you transform your home instead.
There were so many awesome and cute and girlie things in that estate sale. Omg. The pink and iridescent glassware! The furniture was gorgeous! And I can only imagine what all was in that craft room. Bougie hoarder 😂. Love it 😊

I think the Annalee reindeer had a scarf type piece of material that covered his back. I know a lot of people who collect all kinds of different Annalees. There are people in the vintage community that think they’re creepy looking & others who love them. I think they are adorable! $10 was a great deal, too!!
The deer had a harness and like a little blanket over his back with open pockets on each side with gifts in the pockets ! He's so special...get the antlers off one of the head bands some of them look real good !

I recently got a similar color combo for my bedding I love it, I’ve been wanting something a little nicer and softer and warm toned, excited to see more of the moody and earthy colors coming through the makeover, I’ve also been wanting to paint the wall behind my bed in a dark rich brown
