This is, by far, my favorite video you’ve done. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched it just to relax and listen to the sounds of the rain.
My favorite sound in the world is a light rain hitting the tent.

No speech, no subtitles, no goddamned shit muzak. Just natural wind and rain sounds in a beautiful rainy wilderness, and a skilled bushcrafter doing his stuff; with just a couple of thumbs up. Great vid!

Wow the sound of the fire and rain on the tarp was music to my soul. I use to do that so many times and took it for granted. Today I have a house, cottage and all the toys but I still remember when I would spend my lunch time as a boy and in college doing that very same lean-to n fire. Thanks for bringing back the memories!
Being in the woods in rain is fresh and a comfort for me Ive been silent in the forest for a big part of my 61 years I was raised in this way(thank god) good work good cam work also!

Exactly how i have been erecting a tarp shelter for the last 50 years. The main guy line supports the weight of the tarp and the pressure put on it if a high wind picks up. good job with the video

What made this better is the fact that i'm on a beach in my sleeping bag, I can hear the sound of crickets in the distant, not too loud, and the sound of calm waves, and of course with a campfire nearby

Today I was laid up in bed not feeling so well, this video was just perfect, taking me directly into nature, the sights and sounds all wrapped up in woodland solitude. Then purposeful and masterful action - it might be a wet day - but with some know-how - dry (fat) wood available - some processing with sharp blades - and with a single match there is FIRE in the most difficult of fire making circumstances - just sheer magic! Coffee - real coffee - I can almost smell the aroma - on a wet day in the woods - what's not to like! Subtle, powerful, telling, skills shown and shared that might one day save your life - a Master on display taking us step by step - one small success leading to the next - with a cinematic style and pace that reminds me of Kurusawa - the Japanese Director of ' The Seven Samurai' every detail wonderfully portrayed! Surely a contender for 'Best Slow Short' prize...
Bravo! I enjoyed every minute of this exceptional video. This is how it should be done. And now I finally know how to make coffee: ten scoops of coffee per cup of water! Thanks for the experience!

of course you maybe will need to get some beans or lentils, peas and stuff at the market but you can get around with 20 dollar even here in switzerland where the prices for groceries are higher than burj khalifa

As a like minded soul who is unfortunately piling on the years faster than the accumulation of the national debt, I find your video a refreshing change from the overly informative genre. Yours is a video that I could watch again and again in a continuous infinitesimal loop. Due to circumstances beyond my control I am unable to venture out into the great outdoors at present that I have previously happily enjoyed over many years. Your video has given me a solid connection to times past of brilliant memories of being at one with nature. Very relaxing video and you did it all with no yak yak and bumper music. You got more rain there in 25 minutes than we get in a year in southern Ariz. I love how you guys in these videos just push your tent pegs into the ground about 6 inches or so with your hands. We need 4 pound hammers and solid 5/8 steel pegs out here. Thanks for the therapy~!!
