Rain every now and then when camping under tarp by creek, grill meat and relaxes

- Walks quite a bit into the forest to get away from the traffic.
Then set up tarp by a small creek just before it starts raining.
It rains from time to time during the day and night.
For lunch I eat freeze-dried food and for dinner I grill meat.
Takes a walk up the creek and into the woods, afterwards I have to dry my clothes by the fire.

I am camping now for the first time. Day 2 of my camp. Love it. Bought the right gear for me, comfortable and so far the best sleep I have had since losing my mum recently that passed. I am solo female. My advice, just do it once you put your mind to it, but come prepared.

Great site to set up camp & do one's 'thing' access to the most important resource a human needs is 'fresh running water' so where is this place you are calling home for a few hours beautiful, Bird life is certainly quiet
It is in the middle of Sweden, hade to walk a good distans to get away from the road a started at.

Something that will be made known soon I hope, I have a device delivers mains power wherever you are, a back-pack model can deliver 1kw an hour, if you have the right battery that can mean a very significant power value. If you don't want the weight of a battery a small bag of salt can deliver similar benefits. We have devices delivering 10kw an hour, but they are a bit heavier, no batteries at all. These devices use no fuel and regardless of time of day or weather. In addition we have devised a hot floor for living in the wilds, heated clothing you know of I am sure, but you can power/recharge any device and without having to be too careful have power on tap all day every day. The 1kw device can generate whilst you are moving. So strong lights are possible. Portable mains value power enables a lot of things, even cooking of electric in the wilds. Its coming, and hidden around here we have several generators working 24/7, have had for a few years. Keep safe, keep well.

What is the size & type tarp you are using? Your method makes a lot of sense, minimal use of forrest materials, maximum enjoyment of surroundings.

This is great! I wish I could just go out into the woods by myself and camp out in the rain. Perhaps one day I will overcome this fear and just do it. I dont know if it's because I'm a woman or I watch to many forensic files/cold cases.
