I live in Zambia Africa . I've driven trucks in southern Africa and Australia. I've driven a variety of trucks in my time but nothing is in my opinion is as appealing as an American truck. The sound of the turbo and the sweet sound of the Jake brake. I love the fact that you are giving that Peterbilt a second chance. Your videos entertain me during my lunch breaks, please keep them up.
Well I painted my first car when I was six years old. My Dad had left his paint and brush out side and decided to take a beer break. I took his paint brush with grey pain and proceeded to paint his nice blue Ford station wagon blue tires and all including its hub caps. You see back then there wasn’t latex paint enamel was used LOL. I haven’t painted another car sense he convinced me by beating it into me that painting his car wasn’t a good idea what so ever. I like how your painter friend just adds a bit of this and that but we all know he has done it long enough he gets away with it. Nice job that blue petter is going to be an assume truck when you get it all done. Keep up the good contenting give a huge thanks to your painter and what’s his name LOL. Thank You

was useful back in the day but less now with the evil stuff being used, it gets into your body through your skin pores. That's why sane painters ALWAYS paint with an air-fed mask and tight overalls.
@@tturtle1659 mate you are preaching to the choir, l'm with you. I sprayed transport paint with a 24 page book on why you should not mess with the stuff. Breath, skin contact, etc... I have now been disabled for 28 years and belive phosphate poisoning was a contribution to some of my more unexplained symptoms. Left the job, skin cleared up, felt better... Unfortunately in 18 months struck down by multi system failure boom! I had the early version of the battery fan filter box on a belt, forced air system to a hood, but don't think it did much. You do the best you can, with what you are given in 1991. The other guy's standing in that fog of fumes are the stupid ones, they didn't have a filter cigarette. ;)
I'm actually amazed that the painter is still alive. Usually you don't live very long spraying paints without a respirator. Truck is looking sweet. Looking foward to see the final product.

Kenneth could have removed his name before surrendering ownership of the truck. SamCracc of YT rebuilding fame purchased a wrecked Domino's Pizza car with everything intact including the side oven. Domino's was pissed, but nothing they can do since the car was purchase outright from Co-Part and the insurance company that insured the vehicle.
@@gungadinn, well actually no. Truck gets wrecked, truck gets towed, insurance company sells truck. After a roll over, no one is worried about removing decals.
@daniel bean, his 24 month CSA report shows no OOS, 1 wreck, no injuries and no fatalities. Didn't see your "trail of citations". I did find a report of a wreck in 2014 and one in 2019, with two trucks in the fleet, I'd say Kenneth Veith Trucking is 0 and 2,😂.
That paint job looks a lot better than one would think, considering what little we saw of the work! Good idea to keep the same color. As always, great respect for your knowledge, and work!!

Pro tip: wet the floor down to keep dust to a minimum. Just spray the floor down with a hose.
My pro tip would be to wear a mask and protective clothing- you can flat some nibs out but it’s harder to get new lungs!
Getting high as hell off paint fumes in the barn. Nice. Painted an s10 in the garage with flat black spray cans. Felt that for a few hours.
