My dad found your channel, showed his friend and then me when we were visiting said friend in Kentucky this weekend. We watched all the videos of you working on this semi last night. We legit just left not even an hour ago and you post video! So close to being able to all watch it together. Have to watch it without our friend, but it was really fun to watch them with all of us together. They were pretty damn funny! We were laughing out asses off late last night to all the jokes and funny shit y'all do. My dad introduced him and I to you and we both are subscribed now. Keep up the good work! Well definitely be watching this when we get back to Chicago late tonight!

All the Safety Sams would lose it if they knew how many times I've used this or that power-tool WITHOUT safety glasses. When I'm doing under-the-car work, I will put a pair on so stuff doesn't fall in my eyes, but folks will be amazed at how many things a guy can do if he knows to keep his head out of harm's way.

Seat are not 3 grand a piece. You can get real nice leather like one in the truck around 700 to 900 a piece. Depend on the brand and style you want.

Thankyou young man for keeping our Peter Builts Alive , I wouldn’t have nothing else but the swan on the hood , Western , your dad told you well , Us bull haulers do some serious trucking , looking at that swan trucking late at night , Just reminded me us truckers have a higher purpose.

He has to be driving for the jakes to fire off. Otherwise, he would simply hear how she idles. For the record, maxed at 80k lbs sounds much different then empty.

@@joseseidellopezgarcia9950 nothing sou ds better the. A loaded engine screaming. Gas or diesel with a decent sound that is. My cummins sounds good when pulling my 18k lbs camper. My 2005 gas truck thats straight piped will scream up a hill with 14,000 lbs behind it. Double what that gasssr towing capacity is, but she will do it. Doing a second gear pull slowing from 70mph sounds like a semi with the exhaust brake on, with gunfire....

I missed my old days driving my international tuck whith a detroit engine,the sleeper is a littoe bit wide,but i always love peterbuilt its mascular look made it so amazing,i thought you made that peterblue so amazing i love it 😊

I'll say this, if you ever met me and my employee when we worked together, it is EXACTLY like your videos. All day banter but getting the damn job done. We were such polar opposites (sorry, you can only count to four) so different that we couldn't stop messing with each other. We are great friends now naturally. Are the inserts for sleeper to cab supposed to be painted because they're going to flex and I think if I remember I they were always black their natural color cuz otherwise the the paint peels off?

You need to put some classic Round headlights on to make it stand out even more!
I totally thought that’s what he was going to put on it. Classic round Headlights would look sweet on that truck
That and flip the mirrors, cut down the intakes on the air cleaners, remove the horns and cab lights and replace with 3/4” led. My 99 had all that and a 300” wheelbase. It looked low and long!
I just had to put 2 dump loads of gravel down here for the same reasons. It's actually rained enough to make ozark mountain clay turn to mush. And you totally have to do a LED conversion for all the running lights and inside cab lights. I did my horse trailer in and out and totally worth it. Looks awesome compared to the old bulbs.

I've seen those chrome bonnet swans come with red or blue colored perspex wings that light up at night. Speaking of lighting up at night, move that cut-off drop saw outside when you use it before those hot sparks burn down the shed one night.

He wants to haul that dozer they have with it.
I heard he was going to use it so he put more wrecks on a semi trailer.
I don’t know what the rules are in his state but start selling to much than you can find yourself in trouble with the state.
*now that you've got all new gravel down you should also get "screenings" put down on top of the gravel. it helps lock everything into place better and keeps you from having to rebuild your driveway every few years and it's super quiet to drive on also*

Abrasive ones take a bit to get started. The old one at work sucked and we got a new saw that takes a huge carbide tipped saw blade and its awesome.

They have hand handles for the hood, had the Swan and handles on a 359. Looked good and made it easier to open without the finger prints

Now you need to order a 20" Texas Drop Bumper for it. Got my a 2000 379 Pete with the 12.7 Detroit, she's a solid 50 footer. looks damn good from 50 feet away but when you get close you can tell she's a working truck. Bought her in 2006 and been using her to haul fuel with ever since. Love these old Pete's. Great vid bud.

I would suggest using an OEM fender guard on the underside of the hood fenders. It will help keep rock from denting and cracking the fenders
The swan on a Pete is just the cherry on top, gotta have it !

Peterbilt is by far my favorite of your videos. Keep them coming! Want to see the custom interior. Are you going to recap the costs? Us "lay-persons" love that stuff. Because all we see is charge on our own vehicles, not the cost.....
