Today we're making a low-poly space camp (pun intended). Just a fun quick and easy scene to set up with a couple helpful tips that can be real time savers! Also, we cover mood lighting haha This video was super 'spur of the moment' so it's not great - but nonetheless hope somebody likes it!

Hi Matt, how are you doing? I have a question, when I turn off the Diffuser on my light it doesn't illuminate anything. I have cinema 4D R17.
just a question have you ever used maya...if you have it would be cool if you did some like cinema toy maya converter tutorials because i love cinema but my school has 3d animation classes but the use maya but i cant take that class till im an upperclassmen buti want to get ahead and ive also noticed maya is more used in like everything ive tried to use but just not many good convert tuts and i love your teaching style
A bit of a weird question, but can animate the scene by changing the position of the camera?
All of those Low-Poly scenes you're making could go great with small animations to them!

Ok how did you get this really good log wood texture all of a sudden?! Did I miss anything? From the trunk texture, it didn't look like this.. I am confused! Anyway, great tutorial! I am loving your Low-Poly tuts the most.
its as always, amazing.!! is it posible to learn something related to aerodynamics as well? :3 that'll be my request of tutorial. I'm sort of learning to make leaf fall from tree, this sort of wavy behaviour light object has as they fall. Thank you for these great tutorials.
how about making an interior scene like bedroom or hall with television curtains bed and all in low poly :D

Hey matt! I'm about to learn your tutorials in c4d! i just got my c4d studio version. excited to learn awesome 3D. :D haha. are you familiar with the game of thrones intro? i think it's made in C4D, please make a tutorial of that. I will appreciate it so muchhhh!! hahaha. thanks. XD

Im stuck about 8 minutes in, i cant get the cloner for the trees to do right. Im gonna try again tomorrow but if anyone has suggestions im all ears. Keep the awesome videos coming!!!!
***** I think i got it, i didnt realize you hid the extrude 0.1 copy. Now its working. Hopefully i wont have any more issues lol.

I'm a beginner in C4D and i find really hard to follow this tutorial, it's too bad the teacher doesn't slow up and show more what he does...
