Welcome back to Mt. Mograph! Feel like I haven't put up a video in a while. So here is a Low-Poly Dragon Rig, a mix of a couple suggestions. Tip for doing the spikes.Select all the polygons where you want them, use a matrix extrude by pressing M then X, then click the polygon selection while dragging(Like a standard extrude). It may look messy at first but put the steps to 1 or 2 and play about with the move, scale and rotation parameters, then once you get it looking good mess with the variations parameters.

Nar dont think thats the case, honestly i called enter return ever now and then and people have no clue what i mean. names are hard.

I have a question, however. When I put the joints and use the vibrate tag, the wings of my dragon stretch out all over the place. Would I be able to strengthen the resistance only on the wings by adding joints there as well?

Nice tut!! Did you animate the position or just keyframe the vibration tag? I really like the way your shadow came out...My shadow came out very soft but Im using a soft box for a light!

hm couldn't help thinking, but at 16:29 you could maybe have selected points and then hit 0, because when you choose line its making it 0 while trying to retain the line's rotation.. or something like that. i mean, i havent done much modelling so not sure if thats true.
Is there something different to do in the newer version? If I bind and activate the dynamics, only the head seems to be connected to the mesh …
Checking the "clamp points on axis" inside the symmetry tag would have saved you a lot of time.
I was really looking forward on out u set up the scene, I mean: the yellow background with the dragon shadow and the cameras. I'm starting to learning cinema 4d and it would really help :(

I'm using C4D R16 lite and I don't have the symmetry object option available. What can I do to get around that. Is there anyway I can copy the object, flip it, and then attach both objects together or something?

Hi master! I have a problem with the joint tool and enable snapping tool.it doesnt snap to the dragon. I dont know what im doing wrong..press control and hold click. Hope you can help me. love your tutorials man!!

when you make the dragon itself and turn it into one object say later when you add skeleton and all that and you have wings that are non polly and you want the wings to have dynamics with it flaps wings how would you go about this

Hey! Great tutorial as always! Keep up the good work!! Though I'm encountering a little problem with the Dynamics attribute at 32:11 . It isn't where it should be. I tried right clicking on the first joint > Hair Tags > Spline Dynamics, but this isn't working either. Google wasn't very helpful, or I'm just googling it wrong. Can you help me out with this? I'm using R16.

damn nice tut but when i want to move my joints there is no moving xyz thing to move them. i can move the root but not the joints themselfs. im using r14

Sorry to be a noob, but i want to ask how can you merge two symmetry object into one.I transform it into editable but it is still two object and the plane in the individual object cant melt or dissolve into one plane together.
Can this file be exported as FBX, for using in Unity 3D?

3:49 this doesn't work for me! I'm in R12 on a Windows computer and when I hold CTRL while doing that it just scales down the polygon itself but doesn't create a new one!
Hey, I found out that my CTRL key isn't bound to anything in my Command Manager, maybe the problem lives there. If you could please check out what the name is of the function your CMD key is bound to in your Command Manager, I might be able to find it and bind my CTRL key to it, if it's in R12.
***** Hey! Apparently it indeed was a bug due to my older version. I updated to R14 and now have access to Extruding and the CTRL Extrude polygon duplication!

Hi! When I rotate the selections on the wing it doesnt effect the others and doesnt give me the hard edges that make it look like scales or something... :/ help? at 12:00
