Thanks for this. Just got one same year. My only issue passenger side A/C doesn't get cold. Someone removing the battery red terminal for 5mins then starting the car will reset the climate control? Might try that weekend.
Thank you for the great video, much appreciated it. I am looking to buy the same year, and I live in Norway and would like to use the car as a daily commuter (150km round trip). What is the Fuel Efficiency for the countryside, considering that the road I am taking has a 50~80km/h speed limit? Regards, P
Thank you for watching the video, I'm glad you liked it! Based on my own experience I would say that the average fuel consumption when driving on country roads at those speeds is around 8 L/100 km. The official figures tend to be a bit optimistic, but nevertheless quite respectable for a SUV of this size. You might be able to stretch it to lower 7s with efficient driving if you make full use of the electric motor at lower speeds. Solid choice for a daily commuter considering how reliable and comfortable it is, along with its low fuel consumption. The value for money of this car is excellent as well, so definitely a model I would recommend buying. I hope that this information was helpful, best of luck with the purchase!
Based on the information I can find, you are indeed right that the model years for the pre-facelift third generation Lexus RX are 2010-2012. However, production started in 2008 and somehow mine is registered as a 2009 model in my country (Sweden), hence why I used this year. Thank you for pointing this out, I will correct the title of this video since the cars sold in 2009 were actually 2010 model year vehicles.
@@לויכהן-ח9ו I have had no problems whatsoever with this car during ownership - mine has surpassed 200,000 km and has never had any major issues. It is an extremely reliable car, this includes the CVT transmission as far as I know.
@@לויכהן-ח9ו It depends on what you are after. I would say the 2010-2012 pre-facelift model years are definitely the most cost effective and offer virtually the same package as the newer facelifted model - the interior and infotainment are largely similar, for a much lower price. The front headlights and grille look more modern and sporty on the facelifted model, so it is ultimately a matter of styling preference and if you are willing to pay more for that. I hope this helped!
Just baught one of these and very happy so far. Its so smooth and quiet that u dont realise how fast you are going.
Finally a video where is shown everything and no music. Thx =)
Hello, AWSOME Video! No loud Music, no stupid speak! THANK YOU!
