The voices just fit the characters better in sub for me

I personally love Riko the way she is. She's a relatable introvert, and it takes time for her to learn, unlike your usual gifted protagonist who gets everything handed to them. She's more realistic and that's a good thing.

@@UmbreonxUmbreon No problem ^^ And personally I think Ash in Journeys was awfully written, so any protagonist that came after was obviously gonna be better than Journeys Ash.
The dub isn't outstanding, but most of the actors tried hard, and you can tell they care about what they're doing... unlike Crunchyroll and Funimation. Netflix comes through sometimes. I think it's the best Pokemon dub of all.

I recommend watching the fan made uncut Dub where they restore the original ost. It's hard for me to enjoy the dub when the music sounds terrible

I'm doing a bit of research for myself before starting to watch horizons and deciding between sub or dub, once i saw one of the main dub cast was voiced by Daman Mills, i immediately knew which version I'm gonna watch 😭😭
I'm not the best at all rating any voice acting, but i did rlly like both! But with Pokemon, I'm always gonna be biased with the en dub 💯
The English cast is very solid ✅
I have to stay with subs... Dub just sounds like someone is reading the script... Subs put more emotion into every word
I can see what you mean but the JN ost is way better than the dub so that could play a part in the viewer experience
