Jokes aside i like the game. It is just that sometimes the game itself and the other players become really really annoying to the point of frustration.
If you put Yuumi on Yi, Yuumi stays untargetable at point A whilst Yi uses Q between points A and B, meaning that if Yuumi uses her ulti and master Yi uses his Q, they basically can cover different areas. There’s no counter-play, you can’t target either of them and Yuumi’s ulti roots you while Yi kills you.
I feel like teemo is that rival character from the earlier arcs of the anime that was a total chud but once we were introduced to even jerkier rivals he’s sort of our chill, if a bit annoying ally now
The worst thing about yauso and his brother is when your in low elo games losing hard and they believe they can single handedly carry the game cause they are on yauso despite the fact that they have been feeding for 15 minutes
@@VarsVerum I was a Yasuo main in my early times in league, the 10 deaths powerspike is a reality, because that's normally the moment when you finish your core items, and you just start to kick ass of those that were kicking yours just moments ago, and the wind wall destroyer of adcs and mages, it's like a perfect storm, suddenly you are able to crush at least half enemy team before they can burst you, I had to let him because in order to climb, you need to use more utilitarian champs, but the fun of playing Yasuo is that sweet cold revenge. (if your team don't ff before min 20)
Meh I'd argue Yone is above Yasuo, you may be 0/10 but once he gets his items he will still deal a hefty amount of damage especially since his entire kit is designed for 1 v 1 Yasuo on the other hand relies too much on mobility and offers less in Teamfights In terms of raw damage He also needs someone to set an engage of he's behind and almost all the time he dies because he just doesn't have that much damage if he's behind Yone deals both physical and magic, you can't build against him and his only weakness is hard cc or when you Catch him after his E ends Tldr, in terms of trying to comeback during a game Yone offers more and has a decent chance of a comeback than Yasuo
@@kyokokirigiri9010 Yone is way better against everything that Yasuo is not, Yasuo excels against ranged and mages champions, Yone against everything else, like Yone, Yasuo after his ult gains armor penetration, so, unless you are a Malphite, everything else is going to be melted in 5 attacks or less, and you just engage when the minion wave is coming, and keep your wind wall for the moment you ult.
Seraphine is very unique in gaining hatred not simply because of gameplay experiences but everything she represents about Riot games decade long transformation from a small indie crew creating this new and fun game with silly and carefree references but dedicated to make it better to this Marketing Juggernaut whose majority of decisions have to do with either making the esports scene work or selling skins rather than addressing issues in league of legends from the balance problems, the relationship between the Devs and player base, the toxicity between the players, the state of solo Q’s overall.
And also letting old champions rot in the dust instead of giving them a rework while they pop out new champions that steal that rework. Mm yone is so fun to play against. 3 dashes on engage, hard cc, slow, shield, self heal, and then dashes back out for a trade where you did literally 0 damage while he might have just outright killed you.
2 years ago and stuff is only getting worse. It's called the "New champion syndrome", where Riot has the URGE to make new champions as op as they can be - overloaded. Some examples: Yone, Viego, K'Sante, Gwen, Naafiri. They really just make the game unplayable because of their overloadedness.
As much as I like Pyke and main him, I think he deserves a spot here as well: nearly no peeling for team as a support, but a second Zed for the enemy's botlane.
I always had no problems with Pyke... until they added Duskblade invis. That item alone literally removed 80% of his visible (get it?) counterplay and makes him so much harder to punish. Also his Q slow is kinda nuts and allows him to hit everything free, but I prefer any day it to getting hooked by Blitzcrank.
@@creaketh thing is...Pyke snowballs hard. Too hard. Perhaps the most snowbally champion in the game. Snowballing as a concept is fine, but unhealthy as crap. And Pyke is probably the worst proof of it.

@@itarH I mean, Irelia still stuns, but without a "lower hp than you" condition, she heals through on-hits, and her q is basically the same, just lower cost, no mana return and even more resets, but instead of true damage on basics she now has split damage, which in my opinion is far easier to balance. If anything, her ultimate is more game-changing than it was before, which might not be a good thing, but it certainly made her more visible on the battlefield. She has become more skill expressive while still keeping her gameplay identity. Old Aatrox is just gone. He doesn't have a toggle heal/dmg, he doesn't revive, his dash-knock-up isn't clunky to use, his e isn't a dogshit projectile and his ult (which for some reason scaled only on ap) is nowhere except for Haha i go fast. I understand that that the gameplay between old and current Irelia is vastly different, like going from a sedan to a truck; Aatrox is like going from a bicycle to a stuntplane (note: I am not saying current Aatrox is better than Irelia, just saying there is a bigger difference between old and current), because you go from, "i go in, i press w and i win or lose" to "yes hello please stand over there until q3 or i can't fight you without buying tank items". If Braum really was crappy he would have been adjusted at some point, yet he's barely been touched over the last seasons because he's fine as a champion.
Braum is a fantastic support but he has very little agency. You have to trust your team, which is basically IMPOSSIBLE in Solo queue. Also she is strong enough in sololanes that she can dash into the face of bruisers early on and win the fight without even bothering to kite them like literally any other ranged champs would have to do to win against fighters. She largely bypasses essential adc skills like positioning, kiting and threat awareness. Also if Tristana crashes 1 wave say goodbye to at least 3 towerplates.
@@Dingdong2730 She is not that good at scaling, any hyper carry can destroy her in tf 1v1 or out damage her in general she is too reliant on her E for damage, yeah she is not useless, but far from a hypercarry, she is not usefull like varus or ashe, she is not a 1v9 machine like vayne or twitch, and she is not cancer like kai'sa she just has a pretty bursty all in, that's all she has going for her, you need that snowball in order to do anything in the game, as trist, and let's be honest a lot of people love to play trist and she can easely be countered, by exhaust or simply picking draven or some other kind of lane bully that stops her from going all in, and forces her to play slow, jinx is a good example.
@@wachinchonchan I think your underestimating how incredibly frustrating it is to go against an adc with self peel. Trist W is what makes her annoying not her E. I used to be a filthy Yuumi main. Now I pick her if the situation calls for it, but I have to admit, I had the most fun I've ever had in league when I help my ADC hard carry and 2v8 the whole game. It felt good to help someone else be the superhero of the game. I've hard carried games myself, but it's actually more fun to help someone else dominate. When I hard carry, the whole experience is stressful, because I need to do everything myself. It's more chill to help someone else crush everyone.
What's funny, science proved it to be a point in nature. Alpha males in wolfs packs are almost the most stressed members of the pack, with only the lowest in hierarchy being more stressed than them. The least stressed members are beta males, the ones that takes most of Alpha privilages of being on top of hierarchy without responsability for it.
This is probably even more so, when playing with a friend that you help carry. I have the most fun when I can play with a friend and have fun winning the game together.
I played support until I got tired of toxic adcs yelling at me for being trash every time they walked into a blitzcrank hook by themselves. Now I just play mid and roam all over the place
pro tip: get aggro supports like Lux, Morg, Brand or Zyra and enjoy deleting both as Yuumi heals can't be spammed for long (uber high cost) and Morello or the support mirror item exists. OR have your mid or top to pick Mordekaiser and watch her being forced out his ally and die >:)

Yeah annoying but most of Yuumi aren't good and stay AFK or do mistake that can be punished easily. Playing her ? The early is really weak and in late with 60% anti heal, it's quite hard to be relevant. Have to take the risk to go out for shield since your heal is down. But well perhaps it doesn't seem an issues for me when i play her because I play as much as i can xD In early i go out after the heal to auto which deal a lot and sometimes tank the spells of the enemy ADC who want to hit my ADC. I do agressive movement to pressure if i'm able to since even if i don't do a lot of DMG, I win 20g for each auto and since i'm yuumi, taking dmg isn't that dangerous for next fight. I don't leave my ADC to AFK on the 7/0 toplaner neither, I go where i'm needed the most. In tf I don't AFK on the fed one too, i jump to heal, to ult better, to give MS (with the shurelya) to the right people, etc. So yeah my gameplay isn't a low risk high reward as much as going healbot with the 7/0 toplaner xD Perhaps for this that i think Yuumi it's ok. It does seem really awkward seeing this type of champions be hated, to the point i really feel as if those with a bad match up against them is why most people just general hate them to go against. Love your video analysis overall :D

Skill is overrated in general, have never seen any yasuo player with more than 5 braincells but they still manage to kill me with rightclicks while being stupid enough to dash under tower without noticing, also the 2 shields he has and the lifesteal to fullheal in 0.5 secs is rlly fun to play against. Basically have to pray that your teammates will click on him while he is fountaindiving so that he finally dies.
Honestly, I think the main reason why people hate certain champs is because they don't understand what those champs will do and how to counter that. As a Shaco main (hate me, I dare you), I don't really mind playing against Shaco. I know pretty well what his strengths and weaknesses are and how to play against him. Same with Nocturn and Vi (which I play if I can't play Shaco). Yes, it may be annoying if your team feeds them, but you do have some agency to predict their movement and "counter" them. Honestly, I think the champion I hate most is Nasus. Sounds weird, but it's always a coinflip weather or not my top-laner knows what he's doing or not and if he doesn't Nasus just starts rolling. If we have enough CC on our team, we can handle that, if not, just gg go next. A lot of snowbally champions are annoying but I think if you know what you're doing everything is possible.
The biggest problem with yumi is there isn't counter play. She banks on someone getting super fed and turns them into the ultimate Stat checker. You will either have the needed skills to shut them down or you can do nothing about it. Especially since hee speed boost makes reaction time near impossible for the defense.
He's OP in solo queue and his winrate/play rate/number of 1 tricks that make it to "high levels of play" proves it. If voice comms were added to the game he'd be balanced or even underpowered (which is why he sucks in comp play). In the chaotic mess of solo queue, he's broken and is a terribly designed champion.

As both an 8 year long support main and a recovering Mastery 7 Yuumi player, I can say with certainty that Yuumi is straight up unhealthy for the game. She has a low skill ceiling and a low skill floor, and *far* too much impact for how little effort she requires to pilot. All fundamental problems aside, I'm still never going to let Riot live down that article they released claiming Yuumi "has the same learning curve as Qiyana and Akali," a claim they tried to prove by showing a mess of squiggly lines they called a graph.
bruh akali isn't exactly aphelios level big brain but you need a certain amount of training to get good with her. yuumi requires as much skill as garen or even lower.

I think(with some few exceptions) that most of these abominations should get reworked and gain a more defined and singular identity. The way Yasuo, for example, is the ultimate counter to projectiles but also happens to gain free stats and so doesn't need ability haste, armour pen or 5 crit items, has 1000 dashes and has spammable manaless abilities is took much. And it's not just Yasuo, most of these champions can do almost everything and their weaknesses are hidden in a way that they lose gameplay a identity. When the way for YOU to counter them is "them missplaying mechanically", or "not doing anything near what you want to do" then the game becomes less fun, with lower strategical value (given that you are not playing such a champion at the moment)

The most difficult thing for bard players is people to realize he has a purpose. Early game, he can just poke with Q and meep. But let him scale and you have an unkillable slowing machine who comes at you at 600 mph and eventually presses R make that Nunu steal baron while the Aphelios he raised pentakills your team.
An effect that would be interesting hard-counter to mobility champs would be like the Grievous Wounds equivalent of Grounding effects. It would reduce distance travelled by dashes and teleports by 40%. The only thing is, it would only be useful for mobility champs trying to escape. Unless it was some huge AOE debuff, you wouldnt be stopping Riven from wallhopping into killing you, but their escape and mobility between targets would be squashed.
That pretty much kills an entire class of champions. Dashes are pretty core to the champions that they are on. And it doesn't actually *fix* the issues that the champions have.
@@Dracomandriuthus Well it fixes one, their mobility KEK. But the general trend of effects like this is that mobility effects power creep up since they can be stunted so hard.
Imagine Yasuo without his x2 Crit% passive. Would actually be interesting to observe. Would also open up build-pathes for him. I dunno. In my eyes it's what breaks his overloaded kit into the "Broken Mess"-state he's always in. Getting one CritI-tem and gets TWICE the benefits from the crit-value for free?
Any fellow Ivern mains remember when Moonstaff was still OP and there were a non zero amount of Kha’Zix mains arguing that Ivern is toxic and bad for the game? lmao. Good video though 👍
I'm shocked that Kai'sa isn't even mentioned considering her kit is more overloaded than Vayne since she can also go stealth and she has a shield/dash on her ult and her Q does so much damage and of course her long range skillshot.
How to torn the champions at a right position: Yuumi: need to dicides to be a stats buffer or a shild/heal buffer on her W and E. Master yi: get him Q a hework that he can get any dashes for a time period but he get a 1s antcc only and 0,3s to one dash to another and when their cool dawn will be counting at the time he starts to dash, so when he is dashing if he want to keep it, he will need to auto attack, leaving him expoused for a shorter period. For akali and irelia... just buff pop to continious use her w per mana
i get the gripe about playing against Riven as a Riven main myself, she's a late game champ that for whatever reason is also strong mid game and in certain matchups strong early when she "shouldn't be." But, whenever I play against a Riven I always have a blast. So many matchups are super dynamic with a lot of constant tense action. Either of you mess up and its over. Idk, playing both as and against Riven has got to be the most exhilarating thing in League Side note, I don't feel like when I lose to Riven that it was unfair. I know the mistake I made, the mechanical misplay I made, that resulted in me losing. But, whenever I beat a Riven I know I won because mechanically I played better than them. Again repeating my main point that playing both as and against Riven has got to be beyond exhilerating.
14:48 Yeah, yuumi gives sooo much interaction for the enemies. They are able to interact so much with her watching netflix and pressing E on a bruiser.
I like your take about how these hated champions force the player base to rely on mechanical skill and not rock-paper-scisor knowledge. BUT my frustration is if I am an enchanter going up against yuumi, we have the same objective but she can do it better and very easily. Even if I roll in the laning phase, she just needs any carry on her team to not only be relevant but also impossible to shut down. "just be way better than them 4head" just doesn't sit right when my counterpart does the same thing my champ does but way easier, safer and more effectively
@@VarsVerum it’s more that shes easily countered by yasuo, yone or anyone a bit more beefy while yes shes annoying and can delete anyone she herself can also be deleted. And also I just like people talking about my favorite champion in any form
Yes, they did pretend that seraphine was a real person, but thats....the entire gimmick of the music skins. They pretend that all of them are real people. Popstar Ahri, then K/DA Eve, Kai'sa, Akali, True Damage Senna, Qiyana, Ekko and Yasuo (akali doesnt count, since k/da was first so she isn't a new addition to the 'this is a real person' gimmick), and through True Damage Senna's lore, Lucian and Thresh Records (probably helmed by Thresh himself, but for all we know it could be Qiyana in like a 5000 iq giga brain play to ensure she becomes empress of music somehow) also exist in our world, as do the Pentakill gang. That's their entire gimmick, and the story behind the skins, Seraphine just got a twitter account instead of just a music video and/or album. It reminds me a lot of legal thriller novels (think John Grisham) where (to my knowledge) they take place in our world under our laws but just explore fantastic fictional scenarios with fictional characters involved. and thats what seraphien is...a fantastical scenario involving fictional characters that are supposed to exist in our world. disclaimer: obviously its not ACTUALLY our world. They aren't really real. but thats the gimmick. 'what if they WERE tho'
That Zoe moment was full of emotion from Vars :)) I must say, the only problem that I have with Zoe is that burst, it is just to much, but I respect every good Zoe player because for me she is very hard to play. You must use her a lot until you get to that point of being that nightmare.

Honestly the only ones I really have a problem with are yasuo and yone because for some reason apparently you can build two items and then go full tank and still output the same ammount of damage as a full build adc
I do dislike Seraphine in terms of her gameplay, because no matter how behind she may be, if there's a fight going on and she ults and hits even one target the fight is pretty much won for her team
Yeah, the ult is honestly pretty bullshit imho. Not only does she have one of (debatably THE) strongest form of cc in aoe form, she is also allowed to extend its range with her teammates. She can just ult the enemy from 2 screens away with a bit of luck or communication. If it had a fixed range, I'd be perfectly fine with it
pretty much every "hated" champ in my experience has flaws that are overlooked due to a neish in their kit that isn't liked. Yuumi suffers from "zero personal agency" which means something that other supports could easily handle solo yuumi is completely unable to achieve (sona also suffers this but not as much as yuumi). also due to the 5 second cooldown interaction with yuumi's W when hit by any form of CC or displacement other than a slow it is totally possible to force yuumi to play passively and pressure her mana by simply NOT using crowd control while she is attached forcing her to conserve her mana and induce the "1v2" situation in lane phase or risk being a free kill. granted an annoying playstyle to play into but she has counterplay Shaco has plenty of counterplay and drawbacks to the pick. one of the ones most people don't think of is while a 15/0 shaco is a monster he is no master yi, shaco cannot 1v5 a team fight and if he is the only fed member of his team then its only a matter of time before it starts to show that shaco can't carry the entire game on his back without a team to play around. Master yi- plenty of issues with him, countable early game, and somewhat a stat check champion in fights. if yi doesn't pop off early in the game it's easier to keep him unable to in the mid-game and late-game. a true feast of famine champ. literally, every pick someone hates is a mix of a personal dislike of playing against, lack of consideration to wider picture or lack of game knowledge. the only exception to this is when numbers are overtuned, bugs or in the case of Seraph- players seeing her as a Sona V2 with more viability in the same role while the other is struggling to find a seat in the meta (yes i feel for you sona mains I know)
What I do believe to be a very real problem with these champions is when they stop you from playing the game entirely. I can play 2 games a day, 2-3 days a week. I simply do not have the time to adapt and overcome Akali landing one skillshot and murdering me under tower or Sett getting a Yuumi attached and becoming inmortal. I still remember the last time I took a break from league, I was playing toplane and I was against Vayne first and Irelia second. And that was it, that was my day, getting murdered by champions I literally couldn't fight back against. The next day I was against Fiora and Riven. That was my week. A week's worth of League of Legends and I didn't get to actually play a single game. So I quit for a couple months. Next time I logged in I went 2/11 with Illaoi because that's how League welcomes people back. And also before it's mentioned I only play normals, no ranked but also no Aram. I don't think I should be relegated to a gamemode I don't like because that's what's made for players who cannot sacrifice their soul to the game.
So you played against 4 different champions and got murdered by each of them after not playing the game for months. i don't think that is down to the champions...
My only "hatred" for Yuumi right now is that I'm almost to the point where I feel like I need to ban her every single game because if I don't, then when someone DOES pick her, it's an auto-play bot - who's point apparently is to throw/de-rank the account (for some reason). This HAS to really frustrate people ACTUALLY trying to play her.
I know it has nothing to do with the video... but thank you, I can't believe I had forgotten that song, Snowbelle city, you had it as background music, a remix, I almost cried hearing it again,I can't believe Pokemon X and Y came out 7 years ago
I actually like shaco as a champ, even though I only play him in aram. While he is annoying, he rarely spikes so hard like master/fiora/riven. Most of the time, he is mediocre and annoying, and only sometimes get impossible to deal with. Plus there is so much satisfaction in predicting shaco movement, and landing skillshots on him when he is invisible.
The problem with yuumi is that there are so few buffs in the game, other then attackspeed and movespeed if you count those i can only think of like 2 other then yuumi. If there were more buffs in the game, they could buff yummi to have more presence in other ways, but if you did that she'd be too strong to absurd levels.
In Seraphene's case it was all of her skills have annoying noise and her R is so bs that its range extended when hit a champion(both ally and enemy also extend this effect)

Meh I'd argue Yone is above Yasuo, you may be 0/10 but once he gets his items he will still deal a hefty amount of damage especially since his entire kit is designed for 1 v 1
Yasuo on the other hand relies too much on mobility and offers less in Teamfights In terms of raw damage
He also needs someone to set an engage of he's behind and almost all the time he dies because he just doesn't have that much damage if he's behind
Yone deals both physical and magic, you can't build against him and his only weakness is hard cc or when you Catch him after his E ends

And unfortunately with the games popularity being in a steady growth since forever there is no reason for them to stop doing that
And also letting old champions rot in the dust instead of giving them a rework while they pop out new champions that steal that rework.

So I main Kled mid, and I despise playing against Akali and Yas, despite the fact that I basically hard counter both of them. The reason for this is that Kled is very sporadic and needs to limit test a lot to do well, and it feels really awful to have to give up playing this way because I know that giving my enemy laner one shutdown could instantly make them an unbeatable 1v9 death machine.

I dont understand why Tristana isn’t on the list either. 800 dash range, both earlygame lane bully who has the perfect kit to snowball with but also is one of the best scaling adcs.

Playing her ? The early is really weak and in late with 60% anti heal, it's quite hard to be relevant. Have to take the risk to go out for shield since your heal is down.
But well perhaps it doesn't seem an issues for me when i play her because I play as much as i can xD
In early i go out after the heal to auto which deal a lot and sometimes tank the spells of the enemy ADC who want to hit my ADC.

Shaco definitely needs to be on the list. He isn't op but it feels so infuriating playing vs that champ
Agree, whenever there's a Shaco in the team no one except him is having fun, not even his team.
Some champs win the game with skills and stats, some with mental warfare
He's OP in solo queue and his winrate/play rate/number of 1 tricks that make it to "high levels of play" proves it. If voice comms were added to the game he'd be balanced or even underpowered (which is why he sucks in comp play). In the chaotic mess of solo queue, he's broken and is a terribly designed champion.

How to torn the champions at a right position:
Yuumi: need to dicides to be a stats buffer or a shild/heal buffer on her W and E.
Idk, playing both as and against Riven has got to be the most exhilarating thing in League
Side note, I don't feel like when I lose to Riven that it was unfair. I know the mistake I made, the mechanical misplay I made, that resulted in me losing. But, whenever I beat a Riven I know I won because mechanically I played better than them. Again repeating my main point that playing both as and against Riven has got to be beyond exhilerating.
whenever a youtuber mentions jarvan and jarvan players they always make me feel good about myself regardless of how much of a knob i am

Every champ can be hated the most just matters what patch you're talking about :)
That Zoe moment was full of emotion from Vars :)) I must say, the only problem that I have with Zoe is that burst, it is just to much, but I respect every good Zoe player because for me she is very hard to play. You must use her a lot until you get to that point of being that nightmare.
Cant respect someone who takes down half my hp after missing eq completely
@@Verienn Because they have skills while you not
@@jessiokim4636I mean if a champion thats supposed to snipe me takes down half hp while missing everything that could be missed, thats shit design. Idk if its still a thing tho, I quit this aids game two years ago and every time I login to check things out its only worse
@@Verienn Oh wow, a mage deals damage without killing me or hitting an skillshot. Image if some other mage like Ahri, Syndra, Veigar, Viktor, Annie, LeBlanc or Lissandra could do the same! It would be obnoxious.
@@temmyetemm never said Zoe is the only offende
I just find r34 of the enemy carry and find that hate nut.
you shoud make this a religion
Honestly the only ones I really have a problem with are yasuo and yone because for some reason apparently you can build two items and then go full tank and still output the same ammount of damage as a full build adc
Bot lane also has Samira's bullshit and Ezreal's teleportation.
If it had a fixed range, I'd be perfectly fine with it
Also all her abilities are AoE
Yeah but it's an extremely bright, huge, slow moving, and has a such loud sound queue before coming out

pretty much every "hated" champ in my experience has flaws that are overlooked due to a neish in their kit that isn't liked.
Yuumi suffers from "zero personal agency" which means something that other supports could easily handle solo yuumi is completely unable to achieve (sona also suffers this but not as much as yuumi). also due to the 5 second cooldown interaction with yuumi's W when hit by any form of CC or displacement other than a slow it is totally possible to force yuumi to play passively and pressure her mana by simply NOT using crowd control while she is attached forcing her to conserve her mana and induce the "1v2" situation in lane phase or risk being a free kill. granted an annoying playstyle to play into but she has counterplay
Shaco has plenty of counterplay and drawbacks to the pick. one of the ones most people don't think of is while a 15/0 shaco is a monster he is no master yi, shaco cannot 1v5 a team fight and if he is the only fed member of his team then its only a matter of time before it starts to show that shaco can't carry the entire game on his back without a team to play around.
@@Daniel-zs4ww After I got murdered I didn't play for months, you got it backwards.
😂😂😂
I know it has nothing to do with the video... but thank you, I can't believe I had forgotten that song, Snowbelle city, you had it as background music, a remix, I almost cried hearing it again,I can't believe Pokemon X and Y came out 7 years ago
That's not Snowbelle city o-o
17:00 ye when you have Riven or Yasuo on your team they sure are just like vegetables. Lovely metaphor, Vars
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
i never ever was in a game where a Shen outplayed me and i was feeling like it was not deserved he has such a good champ design.
