I just finished my first install. I knew it was going to be tedious, but I no idea I was going to be in so much pain…my back, my feet, even my hands were cramping. It took me two weekends to complete it. I really wanted to cry. I’m so glad it was my sister and not someone else. I didn’t even get pictures of the finished results. All wanted to do was lay down and put my feet up. Talk about a reality check. I was feeling pretty discouraged even though it came out nice and she was happy with it. I’m so glad Jasmin shared her experience. I was thinking I don’t have the physical where with-all to do this. But I feel encouraged to keep going and give it some more time. Thanks for another good video.
I've seen videos about dissapointing experiences with "locticians" while doing some research and it really was disappointing hearing that there are people doing willing and hopeful people that way rather than finding out how to cater to the client but again I know alot of people do things just for money. I really enjoy how thorough and honest you both are about being and becoming a loctician and im still inspired to get involved, it really did change my life choosing to loc my hair and I love when I help someone else's day with my ability to serve, so I feel it will be such a good fit for me so thank you again for making this channel!
Her curls are obsessively adorable!!! My locs did the same thing and I loved every bit of the experience but most of them locd over time, makes me miss them lol time rely flies, her hair is so gorgeous 😍.
Hey ladies! I met you both I think in 2019 at a event selling my logo earrings! Y’all helped me so much that day! One thing I admired was you all’s hair!!! I was in love lol. I started my own loc journey and now I’m thinking about being a consultant. This was so informative! I’m so happy you have a channel, I always followed you on IG admiring your work 😍.
Yes, I remember you. I still have and wear my logo earrings. That's awesome that you are locked now and I think you'll enjoy being a consultant. It's a lot of work but very rewarding.
Thank you so much for this video. I appreciate you, as a loctition, educating your audience. I am scheduled for my installation in May 2022. I have studied sister locks for 4 years after getting tired of wearing wigs due to alopecia caused by Lupus. My hair is healthy and natural but low density. I still wear wigs. I just wanted to me free and accept my beauty. I received my test locks a few weeks ago and very excited about my upcomingjourney. I love your delivery of the information. Out of all RUclips channels I have viewed, you are the best by far. I know it is because you are a professionally skilled loctition. Thank you so much. Please continue to provide this valuable content. God bless
Aww🥰🥰🥰. Thank you so much for your kind words and I'm wishing you the very best in your loc journey. So glad you're embracing your beauty. It is commendable 😘🤗😊
Another informative video..Jasmine talking about wetting the ends of her hair daily has made me move my spray bottle…. It was great to see someone with hair like mine sharing her experiences 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Keep it up & thank you✊🏿
lol, don't be afraid of the spray bottle. Just use it in moderation and know what your texture can handle. Water can be a good or bad thing depending on your hair.
Hello from another Detroit born and raise here. This channel is a wealth of knowledge. Haven't decided if I will do my install myself, but if I choosen to go to a professional you will be the one.
Thank you for this video! It really blessed me and encourage me as a Sisterlocks®️ consultantant trying to avoid burnout in a state where I'm the only registered consultant.
You are so welcome! I have to fight burnout all the time so you're not alone. Always take time to figure out what best for you, especially during this demanding time. Here's another video where another consultant and I go into details on what works for us. Hope it helps some more. ruclips.net/video/tuHMcGyvgNI/видео.html
Hi, i love you the conversation. Got my locs now for 1wk 3days. Did my first wash at 1wk mark and my ends are curly and i i love you it! I love you the curls.
Hi! I absolutely loved this video and all of the information provided. I have been considering becoming a consultant since I’ve started my loc journey and this gave me a lot to think about. Thank you so much for your content and transparency!! Her hair is absolutely beautiful 😍😍
Thank you so much for this video! You talked about a lot of the things that I had not considered such as the wear and tear on your body, allotting time for yourself. I am very talented with hair. I also enjoy watching the transformation that happens when a person understands how to style their particular type of hair. Now, I do have to admit I love the money but at the same time I love the challenge of designing loc’s the most! I need to understand what your are experiencing as work? Is the constant manipulation and repetitiveness, and the time that it takes the downside of doing loc’s? Please do a video specifically talking about the aches and pains, and the frustrations of being a locticion.
It's the color. Hair always looks thicker when it's darker and thinner when lighter. But her hair is the same thickness, but the bleach/lightener caused some slippage which gives the appearance of thinness. Hope that answered your question.
I so confused 😕 I have thick hair and I was told to put water on my Locs every day and I’m a year in half in and I did color but I still having slipping and my loc feel hard so I’m confused about this water please help me
Hey, not sure why you were advise to put water on your locs everyday. Did your loctician tell you why? They always have a reason for their suggestion. Water is not a bad thing, but too much of it can cause the loc to slip if the ends are not protected. And color is very drying and it loosens the curl pattern and can create more slippage. So color and excessive water will dry your hair out and make it hard over time. Is your hair locd by now? I would definitely stop with putting water everyday. You can use a daily leave in conditioner to draw moisture to the hair. You can click on this link to see conditioners I've used and approve for locs www.amazon.com/shop/entoibeauty

I addressed your question in this video ruclips.net/video/nUYN6Ip9qDQ/видео.html
Wow ya'll hair is beautiful!
Thank you so much 😀
Love your content! Thank you for creating this wonderful channel ❤️
Aww, so glad you're enjoying it! Thank you for watching.
Funny...noodles/worms. Reminds me of my mom..she called them 🪱 😂😂😂😂😂
Love your content of your video. Wanted to ask you a question are you sitting in a seat while you’re doing her hair? if so what is that chair called?
Aww, thank you so much! Yes, I'm sitting on an adjustable, swivel stool. You can get them at Amazon amzn.to/3yexGyc or Walmart
Can micro-locs be put in 1/4 in squares
?
Yes, but that size would be considered sisterlocks.
Her hair is beautiful, but I noticed it appeared thicker last year; Is it because of the color?
It's the color. Hair always looks thicker when it's darker and thinner when lighter. But her hair is the same thickness, but the bleach/lightener caused some slippage which gives the appearance of thinness. Hope that answered your question.
🎉Amen🎉
