I have been waiting for this for quite a bit of time, I needed something like this cause I got into roux a few weeks back, and my progress with roux has been great! So it's my main method now! I hope you keep posting these kind of useful videos for people who use roux
This is an excellent tutorial! Thank you, Shawn! I like how you showed the relationships and similarities between different cases. I decided to do a month of Roux and for now I’ve been using COLL algorithms for H, U, T, L and Pi - and I’m going to gradually replace them with shorter CMLL algs. It helps that I already know the recognition for these cases. But sune and antisune look like a total mess to me, so your breakdown is really helpful.
Nice video. Your logic is easy to follow. I've been doing Roux with permute / orient corner algorithms. CMLL looks daunting to recognize a pattern and execute the algorithm, but I surprised myself and learned the first 16 algorithms in a couple days. Keep up the great videos.
They should all work. Here's a list of all of the algorithms with different different variations. If you click on them, you can actually see them done virtually and slow it down if you need. www.speedcubedb.com/a/3x3/CMLL
Learn both! Once you are comfortably sub-15 with both it is nice to pick what you like. Stats show that people who know multiple methods tend to be faster overall.
Can we get a new link? I've been looking into roux for a while, decided that cmll will be the last thing i learn, now all i need is a good pdf to learn. I've seen Kian's but this would help more since it shows it in a better order
Should I learn CMLL or COLL? Because COLL can be used for CFOP too and is better for OH. You uploading this wonderful video has made me rethink my life decisions

Hello fellow rouxer
@@justaregularhumanbeing hello there
Im trying to switch from cfop to roux, and these videos are really helping me
Can we appreciate the fact that this man streamed and uploaded almost on the same day?? What a legend 😎

Roux cuber here, this vid is so good I have revisited many times to revise my algorithm. :)
Lmao I suck at roux but I also do come here to revise
First day, ten algorithms(plus O cases) already down. TYSM!

Thank you!
Got all the Sune cases awhile back with Kian's alg page, been meaning to work on the rest. Thanks!
Im learning all the algs from kian’s alg page but he still made a good video
Ive been starting my one month of roux and this really does make cmll less scary to approach and mabye if i do learn cmll I might main roux
Thanks a lot Shawn, i can now train and improve at roux!
This is the video I have dreamed of! I will finally be able to learn CMLL! BIG BRAIN MODE
Learned the algs with this. Thanks!
Honestly, this is exactly what I needed. Thanks Shawn for another great video!
Thank you!
cant believe i just learned full cmll in 1 day
im suprised this uploaded at 11pm
Your T bottom row alg doesn't need to be so choppy. You can do R' U R U2 r' R' F R F' r instead.
I switched from ZZ to roux to ribbon in one week, and all are fun
now i have switched and am staying with cfce lmao
lmao im learning roux again and im gonna also relearn zz so I can be method neutral
Thanks, dude. This made me improve a lot my Roux kkk
I can't download the pdf of this one. May be I can search that on Bing
Thanks. Your videos are so helpful.😊
I'm confused when u do algs for me some don't work when it's the same

Thank you. Very helpful!

Shawn from speedcubereview.com practicing roux at 12 am:
So helpful. Really well done.
Beginner's can use kians cmll sheet as well
im wondering if i should go for roux (because less algs and easier) or cfop (because faster but also much more algs) any tips to help me choose?
Learn both! Once you are comfortably sub-15 with both it is nice to pick what you like. Stats show that people who know multiple methods tend to be faster overall.
@@SpeedCubeReview thanks I've been wanting to choose but didn't know how to! I'll learn both thanks for the advice:)
Is there any 1 Look CMLL ?
This is 1-look CMLL

I'll be adding algs to my website in the future. Once my classroom at the school I teach at gets going and it's not as crazy.
@@SpeedCubeReview thanks! That'll be very helpful. Good luck with your class as well!
How do you like this alg for the O-Diag.: r2 D r' U r D' R2 U' F' U' F
does it have potential to be faster than the Y-Perm?
Do you have a listing of the algs in that order?
I have a question: is it ok to use 2 different methods on 3x3? Since I use roux on oh and cfop for 3x3.
Many people do. I use roux, CFOP, and zz for speedsolving.
POV me: realizes its cll but on 3x3
Also me: 😂😮
Some algs for CLL won't work, such as the R2 U2 R U2 R2 for the H case.
Should I learn CMLL or COLL? Because COLL can be used for CFOP too and is better for OH. You uploading this wonderful video has made me rethink my life decisions
It's best to learn cmll cuz it takes less moves
If you want to learn Roux, learn CMLL for sure.
@@SpeedCubeReview Thanks! I'll definitely do that and I'm sub-20 with Roux
Ninja de Konoha.
The speedcubedb link stopped working today :(.
Ah, I tried creating my own and I see there's a PHP error. I'll email Gil at speedcubedb.
There was an update. It should be back on
Hi Shaun/Sean!!
Hi... Neither of these spellings are correct. lol
@@SpeedCubeReview oh sorry
@@suikody I think it's Shawn
What is "Learn in is order"?
What do you mean?
The thumbnail says that. I assume you meant learn in this order
Ooooh no
Last time I was here he didn’t have a green screen
get a 19x19
and show your cube colection
there must be a lot of cubes
You
is it possible to get pinned by speedcubereview
Nope
YAAH I KNOW THAT THUS VIDEO IS FOR ME BECAUSE I QUESTION HIM YESTERDAY ABOUT THAT
REMEMBER 😃😃😃😃😃😃? ??
NO I DID
Ps he already announced this on Instagram and this was made ages ago
