Full Recipe:
Ingredients
-A rack of St. Louis cut ribs
-Sucklebusters Meat Candy
-Ash Kickin' BBq Honey Chipotle Rub
-SuckleBusters Honey BBQ Glaze and Finishing Sauce
-Kosher Salt
-Butter
Instructions
Prep:
1. Trim the ribs and remove the membrane.
2. Season the ribs per the videos instructions.
Cooking
1. Set your smoker to 275º F
2. Put the ribs on meat side up for 1 hour.
3. After 1 hour, flip the ribs meat side down, and continue to cook for 1 hour.
4. After another hour (two hours total) check the ribs for color, and if it's good, it's time to wrap.
5. Wrap the ribs per the video instructions, and cook for 1 hour.
6. After 1 hour, check the ribs for tenderness. If the ribs are done, remove from the foil and let the ribs set back up for a couple minutes.
7. After the ribs set back up, dump all the foil sauce over the ribs, and allow the sauce to set for a few minutes.
8. After the sauce has set, remove the ribs from the smoker, and let them rest for 10 minutes.
9. After 10 minutes, slice, eat, and enjoy your burn n' turn ribs on a pellet grill! They're amazing!

I do not own a smoker, however I made the Burn N Turn ribs on my gas grill while maintaining 275 degrees. They were fall off the bone delicious, the best ribs I have ever made. Thanks Darrin for sharing your recipe with us.

Those ribs look so delicious and tasty. They look so tender and with less hours to make them. Hopefully l will be ordering some of your rubs soon. Have a wonderful weekend Darrin.

Wrap Sauce! Why have I been dumping this butter\brownsugar and rendered pork fat all this time for a 'fresh' coating of sauce? Best rib cooking tip I've seen - thank you had to do a weeknight cook a couple days ago to test and they were amazing! Keep up the great work, love your channel.

Looks good. Unfortunately my smoker does not have a 270° setting. Mine jumps from 250° to 300°.

@AshKickinBBQ  20 дней назад +3

@@nasa1nk so cook at 300° and check a little earlier. Should be noted, these were cooked after 275° not 270°.

Looks awesome Darrin! Would u only recommend this method on lower grate level right above the heat baffle or would it work on 2nd level? I assume the benefit here is the meat side down rendering over the radiant heat but just wanted to get your take. Cheers!

I do turn and burn to save time. Under 90 minutes. I feel like this was low and slow with a flip.

3 hour ribs are not low and slow

@@AshKickinBBQ But not exactly turn and burn. Still good. I don't consider 3 hours to be fast. Crank it up and turn every 15 minutes. Wrap if you want, or not. Takes less than 2 hours.
