    Some commands that might be useful to you (:
    Press O to turn on orbits

    Press V to turn on Auto-Exposure (not that useful, but makes space look more realistic when near planets/stars)

    Not only would we need the right amount of C02 for the temperature, we would need it for photosynthesis in the crops that we'd need to take along. Any indigenous plants/creatures would likely be inedible to us.

    the Goldie lock zone makes it more likely to find carbon-water based life, other types of life different from what we know might be able to develop outside of that area, like the quite popular among astrobiologists, silicate based life

      Our solar system have 3 planets in the habitable zone Venues Earth Mars but all of them are fucked except Earth

    • @CesareVesdani
      @CesareVesdani 8 лет назад

      No. Venus and Mars are both on the opposite side, outside of the habitable zone. The Earth is right in the middle of the habitable zone.

    • @BAGELS69
      @BAGELS69 8 лет назад +1

      The Earth is not in the middle of the habitable zone, it's right on the edge of the habitable zone to the too hot zone. plus, Mars is NOT in the too cold zone, it's on the edge between the Habitable and the too cold zone.. at least u got 1 thing right, Venus is in the hot zone. Turns out that there 2 planets in the habitable zone. Let me tell u more: There used to be 3 habitable planets in the habitable zone: Venus, Earth, Mars. Jupiter tossed a pluto sized object on Mars and Mars fucked out and Venus fucked out when the Sun got hotter.

    What happens if you put a planet in the cold zone but increase the greenhouse effect. Will it be habitable?

    • @kordellcurl7559
      @kordellcurl7559 8 лет назад +2

      Yes because a higher greenhouse effect cause planets to heat up

    • @LUD1666
      @LUD1666 8 лет назад

      kordell curl cool. Why scientists only searches for planets in the habitable zone? There could be many planets in the cold zone with a high greenhouse effect than can support life.

    • @teli6350
      @teli6350 8 лет назад

      +Lud 166 because of the pressure and gravity. basically: the farther away a planet is from its host, the bigger it has to be. any smaller, and it would be a big snowball, and a 10 E massed rock in earth's orbit would probably be a mixture of Venus and Kepler-10c, very, very hot with no chance for life, a super-venus. rocky surfaces are rarer the colder the planet/or higher mass. just look at Kepler-10c, mass of Neptune, has a deep layer of volatiles crushed into hot ice, and has almost certainly a extreme runaway greenhouse effect.

      In the billions of planets that exist, and the things that existed before us on this planet, do you really think that something similar isn't happening on other planets? There could be planets that are still in the dinosaur age, and there could be planets that are more advanced than ours. Who knows. Maybe there's planets out there that have figured how to travel through space at an unbelievable speed, but they're heading south in the universe, and we are north. So many things could already be happening..
