Also, if your planet is cold, try increasing the infrared emissivity and try not to go to 2.00 or above, or else the temperatures will rise insanely high.
edit: This will only work in older versions because they patched it.

Yes, select your planet and go to the appearance section and you will see the city lights option there.

They changed the way clouds work in the new update. Go to appearance and change the cloud settings in there.

You just need to perfectly tweak the settings. The farther the size is from earth, the harder the temperature is to control.
