I flew in a Revo over Kauai. I videoed the 1 hour flight through rain to view a round rainbow. The valley was 2500 ft deep and the sight was beatiful. I am a pilot but my instructor was the pilot in command. When I do return to Kauai I plan on taking a few more flights. I had a wonderful time.
I tell my friends in Iowa about the rainbow and the weather and the look at me like I fell to far. With out trade winds clouds do not move. I watched the same cloud.at night try to drift pass the moon. I finally went to bed so hour later. The cloud was still in the same place.
I have had a trike up to 17,000 feet. I can cruise at 90 MPH. can get about 250 miles. Further with larger fuel tank. All these questions vary with specific details for make model.

Thanx Paul 4 the video. U said about the engines. 80 & 100hp and a fuel injection (100hp). On the Rotax website they said (2019) that they have 3 motors, 80, 100 & 135hp. Thanx about the parachute. U don't get a trike with 2 motors/ props?

I've flown in light turbulent air before with an instructor but not much fun. As a beginner what time of day and what safe air speed would be safe to fly in? For sure I would guess early morning or late evening and also I would guess less 10mph air speed but I would prefer 0 to 5mph air speed.
Paul, a trike for 104K and a super stol highlander for about 40k. Give me your honest opinion. Which one to go for? Why should anyone spend 60K more? What is the advantage that I get from Revo that I don't have from super stol? Tnx.
You buy what ever aircraft you want for the application you want. A STOL is like a 4 wheel drive jeep, a Revo is like a Ferrari, two completely different aircraft. If you are trying to decide what to buy, it is best to fly and see what you like.
