TheKZOShow thanks man! yeah the floods outro is one of my favorite parts and it calms and soothes you so much that I couldn't really follow with something brutal. gotta end with it and let it take you to a calm place.

After watching all those solos togheter I can say that Dimbag not only played the guitar like a god, but he also had a lot of fun doing it.
I would call upon this guy to be the next Pantera guitarist or Zakk Wilde because they possess something similar to what Dimebag Darrell has such as playability skill levels go and I thought at first that this was a rare unreleased Dimebag Darrell video but he tore it up and it sounds killer !! Rock on brother!!

No, this doesn’t work with pantera. You can play Led Zeppelin sloppy as Jimmy Page was a pretty weak guitarist. Dimebag was one of a kind with flawless metal playing.
Don’t get me wrong, Dave didn’t screw up everything, he just needs to train his right hand technique for riffs to sound punchy and smashing as they should

as a drummer myself I would love to jam with you to do some covers, you rock dude!!! By far this has to be one of my top 3 Dime tributes. With that being said, now with my constructive criticism and much respect. As far as your tone goes, It only matches closer to TGSTK tone specially at 3:30. It really doesn't have that chunk, and the harmonics aren't quite there, but I know you got your own sound going on and I really dig your mesa boogie set up. You almost nailed my favorite Dime solo FLOODS. I must admit I really appreciate such a bad ass tribute, and that outro on FLOODS really made me cringe. Keep on rocking! \m/ Getcha pull!!! No disrespect, because you're the closest I've ever heard to proper recreation of these solos, but it still doesn't "sound" like Darrell to me. Something is missing. I'm sure it's just his soul. Keep on playing man. You may be our only hope for keeping that sound alive. God dammnit, I miss him.

I personally think even on the same amp, same rig, same settings, everybody will sound different because the way you press your fingers on the guitar, your pick attack, angle, (and yes your feel and soul as well) will all affect how it does sound in the end! That's what's one of the aspects that's awesome about playing guitar vs programming music on a computer. Nonetheless, thanks for the kind comments!
