thanks a lot for putting out smallest steps. i dont like when people say beginner guide and then go on skip on steps because they are so pro at illustrator their fingers just move so fast and they actually don't tell basic steps and i am like wait what did he just did? as a biggner i am stuck in small steps. to all people who teach basic stuff please dont consider the person behind screen knows small things so you skip mentioning the step. a beginners mind is like a child we have 100's of silly questions.

I appreciate your videos so much! I was wondering though if you can you do a video on how to use Adobe Illustrator and sure cuts a lot together and getting it printed out on the vinyl? I watched this video to the end and I still dont understand what you are doing. :)
Thank you for your time. Do you have any clue why, even when setting up my own workspace with layers set to a specific size? Panel options: 50 mm; it reverts back to the standard on every document. I am using a 4K monitor, and it is becoming very tiring to do this every time. The same goes for the background grid. I set it to 1mm, and every document I open has different preferences. Any guidance will help keep me sane. Thank you again.

Why would we use layers at all? When's the best situations to use them? What are layering strategies for organizing? Why and when to use sublayers? What sort of things should go on each layer and when do you group things on the same layer as opposed to putting them on a different layer? Etc.

I'm having an issue where I'll create a new item and it's always stuck behind everything. All layers are unlocked and I've tried "send to back" for the old stuff and "sent to front" for the new item but my new item is always stuck on the bottom. I've been using Adobe for a few months just teaching myself and never had this issue until I decided to get brave and try using layers, so I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong with layers? Nothing seems locked though!

I am a complete newb at Illustrator and was hoping you had a great tutorial. Except... within the first 3 minutes you lost me. I have NO idea how to create a rectangle OR how to change colors in Illustrator. You went so fast I had to rewind a couple times to catch what you were doing. When you title something for beginners, keep in mind, that means we have absolutely no clue how any of this works. None. WE need baby steps, not stand up, OK, now run a marathon.
how about time stamps? i am about to lose my job here ffs
