I resonated with when she said "It's like you don't want people to see it. But then, people.. don't see it". For me it was definitely the internalized stigma and fear of others knowing so the sentence is so perfectly said

Girl, there are so many people have mental disabilities like you, most just don't talk about it. Thank you for opening up about it and helping to reduce the stigma! It's so important to talk about it and show people you are still a perfectly normal person who can life a good life, just with some more struggles and obstacles. I myself am 24 and have PTSD, my roommate has bipolar and I have a close friend with clinical depression. There are literally so many of us!
Also you are really beautiful, intelligent, fun and seem to he very strong and resilient. I get the feeling we could be good friends if we would meet in real life!

I’m 47 & was only just diagnosed a few years ago after a near total mental breakdown. I was diagnosed with a serious life threatening illness & while fighting to stay alive my big brother & father died. After being placed on proper psychiatric medication I feel so much more stable mentally & physically than I ever was in my entire life. I can’t believe I lived so many decades in such pain. I used to pray for God to take me so I didn’t have to even breathe for 24 more hours. Now I have a FUTURE & I’m 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚- even on the worst days. Genuinely.
I’m sending ALL my love, thoughts & prayers to everyone out there struggling. It CAN get better. I promise.❤

This video helped me understand a lot. My family is riddled with bipolar disorder. I am sure that I have it and I just recently spoke to my mom about and I am on the verge of going to see someone and hopefully get medicated. In life whenever something happens that is supposed to make me sad or depressed I get angry even well before I thought I was bipolar. So those depressive stages she is talking about when I go through them I am angry and snap on people but deep down I feel bad and end up distancing myself from them. It upsets me because I would like to be near those people but I know it is better off for me to be in my room so I don’t uncontrollably damage my relationship with people from my bipolar that I cannot handle. This video helped me a lot with accepting being medicated, I was very skeptical about it until she said the thing about diabetes and just giving your body what it needs to regulate your feelings. I think it is finally time because I am now loosing the control I once had over it and now it is starting to effect my relationships. My dad is the only bipolar person in my family who refuses to be medicated (out of 5 people) and I see the damage and distance he put on his relationships because of it. I hope they can help me

My name is Seth, I am twenty years old, and I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder aswell. I have had times of severe rage and depression. It is fearful sometimes to think where that could lead, but I do not dwell on it. I have the proper medication and went to therapy that I really do not think was the best kind for me. I have found the best way to deal with it, and it helps extremely well. I desire to be around people, but I am also an introvert. I have some social anxiety. I do not like being out in public at crowded places like Wal-Mart. I do enjoy talking with some folks that I met through Twitch on Discord, but for the most part, I enjoy my solitude. I desire to oneday have my own family, but I feel sometimes, as if, that can be a complicated thing. I desire to have a wife of my own someday. Someone, that I can give myself completely to and vise versa. At the moment, I do feel really immature for my age. I want to change that about myself, not only I want to be the best I can be for the people I love, but because I do not like it. I do not let the circumstances of my life control me, and I have chosen the best course for my life, and it helps for sure.

@Ego Master I dunno, I'm pretty good looking too, I bet I could trade my struggles for snuggles as well :P haha luckily boxing keeps my mind resilient enough to live mostly regularly.
If I didn't do boxing for medicine I'd still be coddled by a girlfriend, parents and the government. Collecting disability and very much not on the street. The biggest factor is the support system that an individual has rather than whether they are a female. I'm sure being cute helps though! Haha

Just because someone is open and vocal about these issues, never mean they understand and accept it fully. Women are more vocal about all issues than men. Understanding a disease takes a lifetime. Even more than that. Men can speak about these too. Just because one or two people not recognising it, doesn't mean society differentiates men and women regarding these issues. Another thing as a man, it is very difficult to understand emotional details. Women are damn good in that. That's biological. However, men have their own advantage. There is so much to this subject. We can't judge easily about these and conclude anything soon. We need to be observant. Very observant about our own self that helps.

READ TILL LAST Hi there just kneel down where you are and cry and pray that's enough. WE HAVE A GOD WHO LISTENS OUR PRAYERS. PRAY WITH FAITH AND ITS A TYPE OF EVIL. GOD SAYS IN BIBLE IN MATTHEW 11. 28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. AND JESUS SAYS I WIL NOT GIVE YOU WHAT THE WORLD GIVES.BUT I WIL GIVE YOU MY PEACE. WHAT A GOD WE ARE HAVING. AND WAKE UP AT DAWN AND SPEND AND ONE HOUR WITH JESUS READ BIBLE AND PRAY AND THAT DAY WILL BE FULL OF PEACE . JUST CONTINUE THIS YOU WILL NOTICE A PEACE IN YOUR LIFE .JESUS LOVES YOU

Holliday is cute, she's really beautiful, but, in every way, outwardly and inwardly. If circumstances were different I WOULD ask her for a date, EVEN WITH every aspect to her, I would love to enjoy the honour of having Holliday in my life. I love her personality, her laugh, her wicked sense of humour, and being who I am, I would be there for her through thick and thin. I TRULY HOPE that she finds the man of her dreams and that he lives up to her expectations, hopes and wishes. Holliday is a little firecracker and any decent, patient and understanding man that she opens up her life to, would surely be blessed by a truly special lady!
I would have loved to have met Holliday, I'm sure my life would have been truly enlightened 😊, I wish her all the very best that life can offer her deservedly so...
    😎🇬🇧

I have bipolar disorder too lol but I forget I have it sometimes also my emotions shift at random. I also get depressed sometimes but I've been dealing with it through my love ones supporting me mentally and I also do the same in return for them too 💕😊 I get a lot of anger issues too but I'm way better than I was years ago and I'm a mother to two baby boys, ones two years old and the other is two months old because of their sake, I'm working even more on keeping myself happy. Also my husband helps me gets me through it too 💖😊 we literally self treat ourselves using each other for love and inspiration.

Hello my names mia and I’m 13 I got diagnosed with bipolar type 1 a few years ago when I was younger I have had a lot of manic episodes and depressive episodes as well has hallucination episodes where I see and hear things it’s really hard for me and I actually just got blood drawn yesterday at children’s hospital so that they could check if my meds were still working and I’ve been able to manage it really well the only thing I will say is that with my bipolar I have trouble with my anger and frustration since it is a behavior disorder and and fight with friends and family a lot it’s been hard and still is hard I hope whoever sees this and struggles with this is managing it ok 😇

It was like I was watching myself in this interview. I’m almost 32 and was diagnosed when I was 13. I never gave the medications I was prescribed a chance because I would experience bad side effects and stop taking them. Since then I’ve battled with substance abuse issues. Today I am almost 8 years clean..but I have been living in denial. Horribly dancing around being bipolar. hoping it gets better or believe I can live with it. Im sick and tired of being sick and tired..
You really helped me see that there’s a way out and getting the proper help actually does help. I’ve been in my own way for too long.
Thank you for inspiring me to get my life back.
    🫶-K

I knew many "strange and crazy" girls while I was younger and dating. Now I'm a bit older and I have better understanding. To be honest girls with anxieties and mental illness are giving lots of anxieties to young guys who are trying to date them. They should be honest to their partners and disclose their mental illness so they can decide to continue the relationship or just to move on.
I don't want to be disrespectful, but young guys are getting into a relationship with girls like this, and end up blaming themselves if the girls are not happy. The reality is that they are trying to fix something that is not fixable.
In my opinion many young guys end up being victimized, by girls who have mental illness and anxieties. Please, please disclose your mental illnesses to your partner so they don't blame themselves for your anxieties.
