Hi. I my case I have noticed a big improvement after using the epoxy glue. The noise was generated by the 2 plastic surfaces moving. I would say ... first try my method ... and if you still feel the need use felt somehow ... that in my mind brings another level of complexity ... where and how do you plan of installing it ?
This has always how it’s been done bro. Wd40 white lithium grease and a packet of wipes to clean the excess off the panels. Or rip the panels out and spot rubber the fasteners 😂
Elementele pe care le lipesti nu au legatura cu datul jos dupa. In cazul meu partea piano black si elementul gri oricum sunt asamblate permanent prin topire, iar in timp incept sa se miste unul vs celalalt.
@@BestCarMods Thank you but I don't understand. If it is glued on how can it come off again? I am having a similar problem but with a 2021 5 series and appreciate your help. Thanks
@@HS-ed3dz if you look at the video you should be able to understand better. the trim has 2 plastic elements that are fixed together by melting and expanding a tab. that gets loose and makes noise in time. when you glue you glue the element that is already fixed. you don't glue it to the car. watch the video start to finish and you should understand it ;)
@@BestCarMods Thank you. I will watch the video more carefully again. I have just bought a 5 series which is only one year old with 4k miles on the clock. There is a 'cracking' noise like when stiff plastic flexes coming mainly from the centre of the dash. The car is still under warranty so I will ask BMW to fix it but just wanted to understand the problem. Thanks again for replying
@@HS-ed3dz also consider other things touching, other covers. media unit dash and so on. the new 5 series has much more plastic. It might help if you are able to pinpoint the place of the noise to the bmw tech so that they don't strip all the inside
Buy a bmw , and have this problems is a big shit. Premium cars nowadays have a very bad build quality
Foarte frumos. Felicitări!
Multumesc.
i feel you bruh

I have a mb with the same problem, do you think that adding felts could be the same?
Thanks

Spray some wd40 spray grease in the panel openings
It might get very messy.

daca l lipesti cum il mai dai jos dupa?

@@BestCarMods am interesting, mulțumesc!

@@BestCarMods in ce oras sunteti in Uk? M-ar interesa sa fac ceva asemanator la un G30 pentru ca plasticul suna exact ca in video
Wtf? What will you do if you need to remove the dash again??
I have removed multiple times after that. No problem.
