    This honestly speaks to my SOUL. I always felt so stripped of my energy, depleted & depressed. 9-5 is slavery in my opinion. Went to part time, now working on my own business…it’s the only way for us ladies ❤

    9-5 is modern slavery, nobody talks of how it’s 9-6 (1h lunch break), add to that commute and getting ready, it’s 8-7 after that you are completely drained, part time should become the new full time… there’s no time for anything else…we need time to live

    Thanks for creating content.
    Work isn’t synonymous to “man”. This topic is mostly about mindset and regulating your nervous system. It’s possible to be feminine, ascend and keep your corporate job . Yes it’s difficult but the intellectual rigor and network is well-worth it. it’s good to be around people who challenge you to grow . our brains also need structure as we age. Without intellectual stimulation our brains literally begin to deteriorate much earlier. People in corporate networks or jobs are known to have healthier brains as the age.
    Just something for your viewers to think about. Most of the videos on RUclips are about quitting jobs etc, so just offering a different perspective based on experience and research

    As a former foster youth, survival and working 2-3 jobs is all I know because there are no parents to fall back on and wasn’t taught to find a man to take care of me. Many women don’t have those options as well.

    • @Fariharri
      @Fariharri  5 месяцев назад +12

      Understandable. Are you good at something (can be cleaning, making hair, makeup, cooking, dog walking, babysitting.. something that naturally comes to you) that you can start offering as a service to people you know, on your social media and charge $30, $40, $50 or a $100 for? This way you’ll save yourself time + energy and do something that you’re naturally good at. This will give you time to think about next steps.
      All you need to start your service based business is an LLC Which costs $100 or $200 and you can start collecting payments.
      Instead of working $10 per hour job, you’ll do something you love for 3-4 hours a day and get paid basically the same or maybe more depending on how you market.

      Network with your community and try to find allies. I've been on the same boat for years, and currently (even though a lot of pple are useless friendships that make me feel betrayed) have about 3 people I can seek livelihood (aka a roof, not anything else but we'll see) from and feel safe about it. Communal love is real and a threat to the oppressive class, that's why they push individualism and "nobody cares about anyone, so you shouldn't either" so hard. Network and find potential community support before you need it. PS: I say this as an introvert who only started taking that seriously later in life, and I'm unsure of everything but still glad I did.

      Just in case anyone sees this and wonders, not all jobs like this are as sweet as they sound. I’ve been there, and it took me to the brink of my sanity and health. These jobs did not feel aligned to my feminine side at all, the environment doesnt encourage it because all the other women seem to be in their masculine too - especially managers and HR!

    • @Hellomynameispookiebear
      @Hellomynameispookiebear 5 месяцев назад +4

      I don’t think she personally ever complained about that. I know I didn’t and I can confidently say it’s not a place to be in your feminine energy. It’s a place to be in masculine energy which is great for men but not suitable for a lot of women

    • @coconutmilkhoney
      @coconutmilkhoney 5 месяцев назад +3

      Exactly, and I hate this “feminine energy” bs too. Makes it seem like we’re intellectually inferior and have no capabilities outside of being a homemaker. Besides, it’s not as if men always like or thrive in 9-5’s either.
      I think instead of focusing on “femininity” and “masculinity” we should be focusing on our own personalities and interests. I wouldn’t do well in most 9-5’s, but I’m in an industry and career that I actually like so it’s great! I feel completely fulfilled and happy. And I know many men who are struggling in their 9-5’s because they hate their careers. It’s never about gender, it always comes down to personality and interests.

    • @lousdinovembre
      @lousdinovembre 5 месяцев назад +5

      9 to 5 is not for anyone in my opinion. Most people including men are not called to work corporate jobs especially if those jobs add no value to our lives and the people of others. I’m not talking about necessary jobs like a doctor, a lawyer, a police officer or a plumber. Those are necessary and they help people but jobs in marketing, finance, retail to mention a few are useless as they are easily replaceable by AI and robots and those are jobs that don’t actually help people or make a difference in society. As humans we are called to be at service and it’s easier to do that when you have your own enterprise rather than being an employee/slave for a corporation or company that doesn’t truly care about you. As humans we like to be in control and have freedom which a 9-5 doesn’t give you.

    I really enjoyed that topic but gurl, growing up in places like Pakistan is not as sweet as you depicted it. There is these rules that a woman doesn’t have to work and can keep her own money but men always find a way to overgo these rules. Women rights are very limited in countries like Pakistan and child marriage is a big thing so that daughters move out asap and don’t have to be fed. So you sugarcoated the whole situation.
