This honestly speaks to my SOUL. I always felt so stripped of my energy, depleted & depressed. 9-5 is slavery in my opinion. Went to part time, now working on my own business…it’s the only way for us ladies ❤
9-5 is modern slavery, nobody talks of how it’s 9-6 (1h lunch break), add to that commute and getting ready, it’s 8-7 after that you are completely drained, part time should become the new full time… there’s no time for anything else…we need time to live
I’m a Pakistani muslim man. And I couldn’t agree more. I think women thrive being entrepreneurial rather then working a 9-5. I’m a RUclipsr myself. And preach the same thing ! Cheers.
Thanks for creating content. Work isn’t synonymous to “man”. This topic is mostly about mindset and regulating your nervous system. It’s possible to be feminine, ascend and keep your corporate job . Yes it’s difficult but the intellectual rigor and network is well-worth it. it’s good to be around people who challenge you to grow . our brains also need structure as we age. Without intellectual stimulation our brains literally begin to deteriorate much earlier. People in corporate networks or jobs are known to have healthier brains as the age. Just something for your viewers to think about. Most of the videos on RUclips are about quitting jobs etc, so just offering a different perspective based on experience and research
As a former foster youth, survival and working 2-3 jobs is all I know because there are no parents to fall back on and wasn’t taught to find a man to take care of me. Many women don’t have those options as well.
Understandable. Are you good at something (can be cleaning, making hair, makeup, cooking, dog walking, babysitting.. something that naturally comes to you) that you can start offering as a service to people you know, on your social media and charge $30, $40, $50 or a $100 for? This way you’ll save yourself time + energy and do something that you’re naturally good at. This will give you time to think about next steps. All you need to start your service based business is an LLC Which costs $100 or $200 and you can start collecting payments. Instead of working $10 per hour job, you’ll do something you love for 3-4 hours a day and get paid basically the same or maybe more depending on how you market.
You have many gifts and wisdom beyond your years. I stumbled across your channel a few days ago and I am binge watching. Thank you for all your effort. It is high value content. I would love to see a video on creativity and how you make many of your videos so fun to watch. You have inspired me on many topics. That means I need to inspire others and may those I inspire do the same for others 💖
Network with your community and try to find allies. I've been on the same boat for years, and currently (even though a lot of pple are useless friendships that make me feel betrayed) have about 3 people I can seek livelihood (aka a roof, not anything else but we'll see) from and feel safe about it. Communal love is real and a threat to the oppressive class, that's why they push individualism and "nobody cares about anyone, so you shouldn't either" so hard. Network and find potential community support before you need it. PS: I say this as an introvert who only started taking that seriously later in life, and I'm unsure of everything but still glad I did.
Been loving your videos and your genuine perspective on these topics. Sooo refreshing! Would love to see a video about limiting beliefs about starting your own service based business as this is a current struggle of mine. Thank you for your amazing content! 💖
Just in case anyone sees this and wonders, not all jobs like this are as sweet as they sound. I’ve been there, and it took me to the brink of my sanity and health. These jobs did not feel aligned to my feminine side at all, the environment doesnt encourage it because all the other women seem to be in their masculine too - especially managers and HR!
Even if you work remote you're still doing the same job you would be doing in the office. Yes, working from home is nice but if your job is stressful it doesn't matter. I wfh for 4 years and just went back to working in person because the wfh job was so stressful.
Its been just 2months working and within 5-6 days i started feeling to quite this job i feel my whole time is being consumed and I'm not feeling myself. Thanks for this video. I really want to do something creative but i don't know what should i do.
Traditional latinas like my mom stayed at home. Me and my sister grew up fully expecting to be professionals and work a corporate job like men. I tried and I can’t do anything more than part time.
I love these videos that you post! I’m currently working on starting my own business and I relate to you so much in protecting our feminine energy and being able to be creative in our own way. I am looking forward to working from home and coffee shops doing what I love! I am looking forward to your next video. Keep posting more of these!!

Its nearly impossible to save as a single mom with todays inflation. Lol! But the other positive aspects of trying things a little differently i can try.
Pick a field you actually like and can learn to be good at. Women CAN maintain themselves while working a 9-5 career, it’s just important that we find something we’re interested/passionate in and that doesn’t over-stress us.
You’re on your own timeline. You decide what’s late for you. As parents, even 50 isn’t old. You’re still a baby to them. Forget about what people think. Do what feels right 🫶
i did not want to accuse you. your video is really informing and lovely. I am just saying that husband and wife material as words are inhuman. we are much more than materials
Sounds like a case of miscommunication maybe due to a language barrier! “Material” isn’t being used in a way to minimise someone, it’s being used to say that someone has the ideal qualities of being a husband or wife. A google search would’ve clarified that for you.
9-5 is not for women?! Y'all complain that women are not treated as fairly as men at the workplace and now you say the workplace is not even for women. Where do you stand, girl?
I don’t think she personally ever complained about that. I know I didn’t and I can confidently say it’s not a place to be in your feminine energy. It’s a place to be in masculine energy which is great for men but not suitable for a lot of women
Exactly, and I hate this “feminine energy” bs too. Makes it seem like we’re intellectually inferior and have no capabilities outside of being a homemaker. Besides, it’s not as if men always like or thrive in 9-5’s either. I think instead of focusing on “femininity” and “masculinity” we should be focusing on our own personalities and interests. I wouldn’t do well in most 9-5’s, but I’m in an industry and career that I actually like so it’s great! I feel completely fulfilled and happy. And I know many men who are struggling in their 9-5’s because they hate their careers. It’s never about gender, it always comes down to personality and interests.
9 to 5 is not for anyone in my opinion. Most people including men are not called to work corporate jobs especially if those jobs add no value to our lives and the people of others. I’m not talking about necessary jobs like a doctor, a lawyer, a police officer or a plumber. There is a sweet spot of fully remote job in a tech field, with good salary and benefits, don’t put all 9 to 5 in one basket

it doesn’t matter if there’s a ‘sweet spot’ we do not want to be in the sweet spot until we die!

Out of curiosity- how will this apply to a woman that does not have financial support from a partner? How is this transition doable?
Yes it does apply, I mentioned in the video love 🫶
What if you can’t? What if you are married, have a kid, husband is unemployed, & you are the only one that works?
