Truth. I’m a director in a massive global company and the bread winner in my family. My whole life I thought this is what I wanted, but now that I’m here, I find myself feeling angry and resentful about it some days. I’m so fortunate, but there are days it’s obvious it’s going against my true grain.
@@dr.nicolellenwhat helped you decide to quit !? I'm 31 , my father is the most understanding and cool father there can be ... But my mind keeps making me anxious , telling me 'what will my father think of me ' P.S m still a student , trying to qualify exams.
@@avanirastogi4314I got burnt out completely as a woman. I sat down and asked myself why am I doing this. Tell your dad what you want and see if he’ll be understanding. Mine wasn’t as much when it actually happened. In theory he was though.
Thank you! I tried to do a 9-5 in the office and I could not even choose where my desk would be. I was told I could not go over a 15 minute break by even one minute or I would be reprimanded. It was torture and when my husband told me to quit and stay home, I was finally happy and could breathe again. This is such an important message thank you!
yeah they're controlling psychos in these office jobs lol I am a programmer/data analyst and even then they tried to control me like it was a normal job. I had to leave lmao.
Thank you! I got my masters degree but personally feel like I'm not built for a 9-5 every single day, I'd love to be a sahm doing a job I like. But nowadays even guys look for women who are working for a good salary/company.
we as women ALWAYS have a choice. saying you dont have a choice is a mindset. I teach part-time..quit another parttime because it was just too much and adjusted my spending and budget. I paid off three credit cards and im working on creating passive income..thats how i got to this channel..Im single. Been married my husband took care of me. I was a stay at home mom. after my divorce i fit my schedule around my children where I was a full time mom. I have two degrees..mba in finance and biz admn...that ensured my future..which I got while I was married. My sons are grown..self sufficient and Im very proud of who they have become. Being a mom is my greatest accomplishment and proudest achievement. Now, I can focus on Me..This content is great and its needed for women who need the support and encouragement.❤
So healing and pleasant to listen to. This is exactly how I see the situation and what I want for women everywhere. Well for those with the same values that want it for ourselves. It's great to see women waking up to the fact that we deserve peace, ease, and joy in our lives. We don't have to perpetuate a culture that gaslights us into running ourselves into the ground for their benefit.
Most of the women don't open up this topic because they pretend they are OK and also they act like they know everything and they feel pride to work like a male but I you just pulled out the mask genuinely, than you ❤
I don't want to work like a man but I also do not want to be a maid and cook I do not want to be a housekeeper either and I want a babysitter my whole life can't be kids and cleaning but I like how you explained a soft boss lady
THIS IS SO ON POINT!!! Thank you for putting words to EXACTLY what I've been thinking/feeling and trying to express (but you did so much better haha). Hoping to find my Ikigai and that it can turn into a sustainable stream of income ❤
@Priyankakhandewal its good for usa but in india it doesn't apply as we cam have maids and india gdp is already low with so less women working even if they are educated.. do what your heart and circumstances allow you to do..
12:10 what’s REALLY horrible is that my cramps used to litterally kill me and I would have fellow women at work tell me “just pop a pill and come to work! It can’t be that bad.” I used to get the shakes and dizziness maybe I was iron deficient during the time? Women are becoming desensitized at a rapid rate to the point where we don’t even think about these topics! 😮
I quit my job recently and can completely relate with this, but I have some questions. What if she does not want to give birth and be a provider ? Not every woman wants to marry a rich man, some want to become one.
Yea I agree with you. It’s a total scam…I’m just not married yet 😭…I am NOT made for this type of life. I’m always quitting jobs cause I can’t deal. They don’t pay enough, and I have zero interest in them 😭
Me too! I felt the same way. Also guilty at times seeing how my other friends have been going at it and progressing in their 9-5. I just couldn’t, even with all the opportunities. Just didn’t sit right, and I always wondered if I am just lazy or don’t have it in me to grind.
Dear Fariha, I am enjoying your videos so much. You deserve way more views because you're providing such an amazing content. And you're very inspirational. Thank you and I hope to watch more videos of you. Keep going ☺️
Kudos to You for making Women across the Globe aware of this 9-5pm Work SCAM. It is making her Over work as she is managing Both outside and inside the house chores OUTCOME increased STRESS, Health issues and at times Guilt
Hello. Can you please guide for the same topic for doctors. Because being a doctor is a direct way to help humanity. I am an indian med student, and most probably my husband will too be an extremely busy doctor. Also i feel like if i am educating myself, i shouldn't let all that knowledge and skill and investment go waste. Besides if i become a full time homemaker, it will wat me up mentally to be away from my husband for so many hours. But I don't want to become masculine. Can you please guide me a bit?😊🥹
For high skilled earners (ladies) I'd recommend part time work (two days per week) OR if you're up for the challenge, open your own practice and hire people to run for you while you work part time in your own practice.
I am housewife, stay at home mom, and I am opening up a daycare business to make pocket money. I am so happy quitting my 12hr shift career!
AMAZING!!
Go go go mumma!! Good luck!!
