Excellent article. Most disappointment happens when reality punches expectation in the face. You can either shake it off and overcome. Or get KO'd. Semper Fi!
I love how this channel is a positive influence for us young men. It’s not about self improvement or how to get your way no matter what, but rather; how to live your best life.
I love this! I sent it to my son and a friend of mine. We're all going to face hard times. We're all going to go through uncertainty and have moments when our plans get scrapped. But learning how to respond to these times is essential. Thank you Antonio for sharing these lessons! I look forward to every video.
Thank you for your videos, sir. I've been going through a difficult time in my life and watching your videos on self improvement, fashion, leadership, and just becoming a better man has really helped me focus on what I need to do to be my best self. Semper Fi...btw were you talking about the CO of RCT-1?
12:47 your smirk at the end of this statement made me LOL literally over breakfast. As a fellow Devil Dog I understood that sentiment all too well. And now my Son is experiencing the same in Oki 😂. Semper-Fi brother 🫡
The rule of “P’s” in all aspects life is still a good mantra. Maintain that multiple layers of options in all stages of operation. Prior to the day. As the day starts before you even leave for work. When you get there before you start the expected tasks. During those tasks. ID the issues. Whatever the potential they have on impacting on the tasks in hand. Are they harmless, what degree are they a threat, or mere inconvenience? Do you flag, report, isolate, remove, power through, ease through, go around, over, reroute? All things are in a constant state of flux so be aware and flexible.
Great video i myself tried to get in the german military but i weight to mich so now in one month i lost 10 kg so i can get back and counquer my goal ( i was in basic Training but my mother got sick and i was the only one who could help her so i did and paused the goal military)
I finally decided to start a playlist that I can save videos like this in. This kicked it off. Thanks for all the advice, Antonio. This sorta stuff is why I wish I wasn't the first born in my family 😅
Hi Antonio, I was just wondering- as a seventeen year old, I am going to a work fun evening, its likely to be smart casual, and I was wondering if you could give me some advice on what to wear without becoming to formal or seeming like I am trying too hard- thank you!
Greetings from an old US Army 11A5SLA in Taipei, Taiwan, Devil Dog! This was a great listen before my morning PT. I think we were taught some similar concepts as the USMC back in The Good Old Days, although maybe some different language. We used to stress Commander’s Intent (long story short: what does the battlefield need to look like-how do the local leaders need to shape it?). I recommend the Brad Pitt movie “Fury” as a nice example in cinema-see the meeting that Wardaddy Collier has with the Company Commander and then how he makes a tactical decision at the end of the movie based on Commander’s Intent. BTW, I was curious about the Warfighting manual that apparently was spawned by the work of the late USAF Colonel John Boyd. I found it online and I’ll add it to my reading list.
Hey Captain, Col. Joe Dowdy commanding officer of Regimental Combat Team 1 on April 4, 2003. Still a question today whether this was fair being Mattis had been the Bn CO of 1/7 Marines in a prior life.
So I haven't watch this yet; however, as a Navy man, I assume at least two of the bullet points will include eating crayons. One of the most important steps that I learned when I was younger about making friends with Marines was finding out which was their favorite flavor. It's one of the quickest ways to break break the ice and set a solid foundation with a current or former Marine. You know who you are by how quick you corrected me mentally when you read the word former. :D Just some friendly ribbing.
Thank you for your service, and thank you for teaching me how to dress. Whenever I don't know what to wear or how to wear it, I just ask myself what would Antonio do? I have watched enough of your video's that I can usually figure it out.
If I'm wearing a dress shirt tucked in paired with chinos and sneakers, how should I use shirt stays? Should I opt for long socks? Alternatively, should I use the shirt stays that wrap around my thighs? Or is there another method you'd recommend?
Totally depends on the style of shirt stay - my old military ones really benefit from long shirt tails and tall socks, but my personal ones clip in to my shirt and then wrap around my thighs over my underwear, making sock choice irrelevant. More comfy, even if they're not as heavy duty.
These are some of the hardest time ever in history to protect your mind from degeneracy but those who can comepetently overcome this period can look back at their life and say, "I'm content."
You might also mention "honesty". No, I'm not talking about the typical careerist bureaucrat-in-uniform lying p.o.s. officer (though I could name names if you're curious) who are never held accoutable, but the dishonesty built into the system that no one acknowledged. A Marine infantry battalion preparing for deployment with a MAU (or MEU - am I dating myself here?) is depleated to around half-strength for the entire time it is going through amphibious warfare training, mountain warfare training, desert warfare training, etc etc as a battalion (sans attachments). Then the last couple of weeks before deploying the ranks are filled to 100% So the "battalion" has all its required training, but half the people in the battalion haven't. Know yourself and know your enemy, right? (By the way, if you think this is something the Chinese and Russians don't know already, let me know and I'll delete the comment.) Also .... a (former) Marine referencing "Heartbreak Ridge"??? I realize it wasn't an endorsement, but seriously? The movie that almost beat out Top Gun as the cheesiest military movie ever made?
"Crush the competition"... really? Not a nice way to look at life. Stick to fashion tips and leave the philosophy to people with a broader view than what the military tells you.
Fashion is philosophical. You are silly and obviously from the woke crowd. One day when you look around and see the mediocrity of your life, you will eventually grow up. It is not about wealth or power. It is about self respect, appropriate boundaries (that most will not respect unless you demand it and the way you present is part of the whole), feeling strong, confident and stable in your own skin. You have those and you will crush the competition.
As a young 21 year old since watching this chanel I have looked better, dressed better and walk better, I feel more confident and mature in many ways 👍📈❤️

Something you mentioned in past videos from the Marines I take to heart, "Embrace the suck."

Attention to detaIl Marine! The picture is an officer wearing an enlisted cover.
Antonio, how are you going to bring up the "silver bullet" and not explain what that is 😂.
This is a great channel but Im sick of seeing AI images everywhere, it is the only reason to unsuscribe.
