  • Modeling Warrior Bug in Gravity Sketch
The Warrior Bug (Arachnid) form Starship Troopers is an iconic movie Alien and very much admired by the sci fi fan base.
In this video we will model a polygon Warrior Bug in VR using Gravity Sketch and take that topology into another program (Nomad Sculpt) to paint it and make some texture maps.

I use Meta Quest 3 in the latest videos but you are able to still use the earlier versions of Quest with Gravity Sketch.

I've had my Quest 3 for a few months now, I knew of gravity sketch, but wasn't aware it was able to do poly-modelling. Awesome stuff!

Thank you for these great videos. I've had Gravity Sketch for a while now but not really used it properly and I've just got Nomad Sculpt for my iPad so I am excited to get going with the workflow you've outlined. Hopefully Nomad Sculpt will add bone rigging in the near future (fingers crossed). will you be carrying on with the Alien Queen series in Gravity Sketch?
