At first I was hyped, then he flashed that this was in kilometers 💀
Still, from 0-50 it is about as fast as the Segway E300SE.
that 99kmh top speed is really mau for an A1 bike. And also a very tough pill to swallow for 9k (for the Ninja). I much rather get a cbr650r.
If Kawa put upside down forks on this and gave it a 130kmh top speed at the very lest it would be a good consideration.
We liked it and got one. In terms of smoothness and low speed handling, I have not ridden anything comparable(1,2,4 cylinder ice bikes for example.) It will be interesting, if that translates to good performance for Motogymkhana. Definitely an interesting bike to ride.
Compared to a lot of bikes it is slow. I'd pay a bit more and buy a Zero FXE (if you want to ride electric). Or pay less and buy something else. Did you try other electric bikes? But handling etc. is perfect. After all it derived from a Kawasaki Z400.
@@MotoSnax I did not try other electric bikes. One criterium for me was dealer and spare parts support. That ruled out zero as well, as most of the chinese competitors. I wish the big 4 would have more offerings, but I guess they are going to wait for the first solid-state battery packs.
That is true, Kawasaki will be fine with spare parts. For Chinese you never know. Zero? I don't know how that works out. Yamaha has an electric concept scooter. The E01. It is on my channel somewhere. Not the fastest out there but it was fun to ride a concept.
De toekomst ziet er treurig uit
Gewoon een keer op een Zero of Energica stappen. Die zijn alleen erg duur. Dat is wel leuk rijden, een berg koppel meteen beschikbaar.
I have a wolf king gt Pro Stand up e scooter and its performance is considerably quicker and actually has a bigger battery and higher top speed more range as well. And it cost around half or less than this.
Isn't that scary when you make turns at high speed with those miniature tires?
How far will the bike ride on a charge?
Depends on how you ride. I was able to ride it to nearly empty in 30 km. WMTC range is 72 km.
i mean 100mph top speed isn't bad for only 7k but I'm worried about trying to get this fixed, wouldn't it cost a lot since its all new tach
It is KMH. :)
Worse, it is in Km/h . Which means, 62mph .
Best bike for nothing.
It is their first attempt, but I'm not satisfied either. I do like riding electric bikes, but this is only for use in the city and while it is good in the city, there are many other options that are cheaper and better (for the price you pay). The product itself is OK, but for less money you can buy the Kawasaki Z650. So just go and buy that Z650. 😎
@@MotoSnax Surprising lack of tech innovation from Kawasaki to be honest for the price but what is more frustrating is that the big 4 have been playing chess to wait and see what each other can do which has only held back the EV moto market from gaining momentum, at this rate if they continue with this market strategy they will have no market users left once the older gen of bikers have stopped riding because new riders will have moved either to the more accessible brands or away from the idea of owning a bike if given the option to pay so high for such low real world performance.
Only Yamaha did make the E-01 (concept) and that was slow too. I did ride it and made a writtenreview about it and some videos on my channel. I don't know any Honda EV's right now, nor one from Suzuki. The price is too high for what you get. For less money you can buy the Z650 like I mentioned and that is a great bike to enjoy for many, many years. Better electric motorcycles you get from Zero and Energica, but most people don't have the money for that. The best cheap electric 'motorcycle' is still the Segway E300SE in my opinion. But it doesn't look as cool as the Z e-01.
Anyway, I don't think electric is the answer. They are still fun to ride though. But not for this price.
Comparable to low end 125cc bikes, good for city use although pricey alternatives IMO. For reference my cb125r easily averages 100+mpg with its 10.1L tank real world range is over 200 miles! While top speed is 65-70mph on a good day, acceleration is no better than this E bike I would say
I'd pick an ICE 125cc any day above this. I love Kawasaki, but not this one for this price.
Slower then a normal 125cc?
With e-boost it accelerates faster than 125cc but without it, 125cc is probably faster. You can only use e-boost for 15 seconds and then it needs to recharge.
@@MotoSnax When you say it needs to recharge do you mean that it's not available until you recharge the battery or will it be ready after a little while? If so how long does it take?
@@The77Game No it takes a short time to recharge the e-boost feature. I did not count it but I think somewhere between 30-60 seconds. The bar will refill and you can use it immediately, but it will take 30-60 secs before the bar is full.
Look at it like a videogame where a gun gets too hot and it needs to cool down. You can still use it after a short cooling down period, but if you don't want to wait you can only use it for short bursts. :)
Regen would be the better term 👍@@MotoSnax
@@theuncanspan but regen is when you let go of the throttle and that would fill the battery, not the e-boost (well, not directly). It needs probably 30-45 secs to recharge e-boost to 100%. I did not count.
fix that sound and make it 200kmh, then maybe i'll consider it
nope :)) I will keep my old gas Z1000 :))
You sure? :)
@@MotoSnax tops around 270 kmh, 0-60 around 3 seconds/
my 150 cc scooter more faster 😂
This is like a toy
Sort of a gadget, yes. Like a lot of electric vehicles.
