    Nice review, but more attention to posting the correct floorplans would be nice and possibly less confusing for anyone trying to follow along. The floorplan at 0:12 is the 24FW, not the 24RW. I like the big shower and don't mind the toilet not having a PPPP rating. With the bathroom sink in the main area, I would rather eliminate it completely and use the kitchen sink instead. I agree with your other dislikes. The 600-pound CCC is a deal breaker for me and all that storage space is wasted if it can't be used. Maybe it could be filled with helium balloons to gain a pound or two of cargo capacity. 😄 This could never be a full-time RV for my wife and I.

    I liked the bunk over the cab because one could take two small grandchildren or children along. I liked the exterior paint and the rear storage, but with such a low CCC, what could one put there anyhow.? Dislikes include the CCC (just ridiculously low), the lagoon tables were much too high, the sink outside the bathroom was a redundancy that just adds weight, the fact there were 3 different types of shades non of which were daytime, the kitchen sink was too small, and the tv's need to be on swing and tilt arms. Thank you for reviewing it!!

    • @DynamaxRVs

      Lagun tables are 100% adjustable. Height, depth, etc, and even removable. Front TV was on a swing arm and can tilt. We do not do the bedroom since the mount adds depth...which does not give much room to get around.

      OCCC is too low! A lot of these on the Sprinters is just some sort of accident waiting to happen! These honestly shouldn't be sold, not just this make/model but many others on Sprinters. You care about your grandchildren/loved ones? Make sure it has around 1500 or just suck it up and get the uglier Ford chassis

    The "no sale" fact on these for me is the very low CCC......they are nice units for what they are, but by the time you're loaded up with people, food, and gear---you're already overweight.

    I'm sorry. We've officially gone crazy. 600lb payload at that price? How would you full-time in it? Even if that did include full tanks, I would only have 250lbs of cargo left over after subtracting the weight of the wife and me. And that's before including the tongue weight of anything you may be towing (eats into CCC). All of that storage is useless without CCC. I know the state that we're in right now has changed expectations, but I'm never lowering mine to that. Even if it means never getting back into RVing.

    • @xToddmcx
      @xToddmcx 2 года назад +4

      I guess you only travel with empty tanks. Honestly I think 95% of sprinter based Cs out there are overweight, almost everyone builds them too heavy. You cannot put 2 slides on a sprinter.
      Also, this thing is too tall. Sprinters have a lousy suspension and narrow track width. At 11'6" this thing is going to sway and get blown all over, it'll be scary to drive.

    Fyi I just checked their website: the extended fiberglass front cap with cab-over bunk mattress is an option that adds 180lbs, and the 200ah lithium batteries option instead of AGM removed 66 lbs. The improved CCC definitely makes this option more attractive.

    ❤❤ Matt, I'm lost with the cargo carrying capacity. Now days (we) people are fun size.
    2 people only leaves 200 lbs or less of groceries, clothes, cookware, linens, shoes.
    Storage out does cargo carrying capacity.

    You can order this unit from Dynamax without leveling, with LifPo batteries, and without the overhead bunk. This configuration will increase the Ccc several hundred pounds. Also, tow a light car for additional storage. As a Dynamax owner, I can attest to the quality and service Dynamax provides. They upgrade the suspension so the motorhome doesn’t sway and get blown around like other similar brands. I have driven the others and they were not steady on the road.

    Matt. Your Ace for your videos is your wife! She needs to be in all your videos. Also, now that you are NOT giving a price it takes away from the value of your videos. Since you can’t give the sale price maybe say something like “I’ve seen these go for X price or say I really believe a good retail price would be X % off MSRP. Just a suggestion. Love watching your video’s. I will retire soon and am thinking about a cabin or maybe a small class C like this one. Thanks.

    I agree with you Andrea ... i'd prefer a medium brown or bright white with matte finish . I agree with Matt about prime pooping position but i love this one . For many years i have dreamed of traveling and taking my time on rt.66 This would be absolutely perfect for that. They use to have a show when i was a kid called route sixty six , you could probably watch an episode on you tube. they use to say ...get your kicks on 66 . there is so much historical things on this route. I just turned 65 and my husband as well . I do wish it had a more powerful motor and a frame that could hold a little more weight. and maybe just a foot longer and that would be absolutely perfect.

    The low OCCC was a deal breaker for me when first looked at them a couple years ago as they established the low range of the Sprinter class and doesn't appear that has been a corporate goal to improve - unlike another manufacturer with significant improvement between 20/21 models. Remember, all Sprinter cutaways start out equal - it is the manufacturer's build that creates the final OCCC. Heavier material doesn't necessarily mean quality as solid surface countertops and tile (hopefully fake) in shower takes a toll. Just can't build them to look like a mini-Class A decor. You stated the 600 OCCC included water which is atypical but the notation on the yellow sticker may be confusing. I looked up the 2022 owners manual online and it explicitly states that CCC "should accommodate" fresh potable water (8.3 lbs/gal), but CCC does not include potable water, cargo, passengers, and additional optional equipment or accessories plus black and gray tanks should be empty. Included in the 600 is the theater seat option (+40 lbs) and the big one - electronic leveling system standard (+200).
    While there are areas to like, they become immaterial with the OCCC, plus, neither floorplan was my preference. Dynamax has their work cut out for them to critically access their house build like a competitor did with the 20/21 improvements.
    Not a dislike, but concern - is the towing accurate as a 5000lb hitch typically has a 500 lb tongue weight. I know your stated 4200lb is accurate per specified weight limits - but the question is can it hold with loading issues. The pass through rear storage, nice as it is, may created a loading issue and other manufacturers with similar massive rear storage setup have lowered tow ratings - even installing Class II rather than Class IV hitches (see LTV Wonder RTB vs other floorplans). Essentially all that cargo is behind the rear axels and over the hitch creating an artificial tongue weight equivalent.

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs 2 года назад

      depending on options, the CCC is anywhere from 600 (at the low) to about 1000 lbs.

    • @travelswithal
      @travelswithal 2 года назад +2

      @@DynamaxRVs does the CCC already have 2 people, gas and water included? Two small people would take half the CCC which makes it only 300 pounds for everything? It’s not even possible and you shouldn’t even offer those options if that’s the case since people will always overload it and create a safety issue.

    Likes: exterior storage doors except one behind main doorway - that one should flip up to avoid hitting picnic table under awning. Dislike headboard, we have Forester with same floorplan and love that window. Rest of floor in bathroom should be raised to fix awkward step out of shower (would also helps Matt's PPP). Bathroom door should be hinged on right - to provide privacy when open. Like big window over sink. Shame Forester gave up on this plan.

    Love the layout of this RV. I would take out the little sink though. No point in having it there. My husband and I are looking to buy in a year or so and I thought this could be it. Deal breaker is the CCC. You would have to bring 1 change of clothes and go get groceries every day because you don't have enough CCC to bring what you would want. I'm really disappointed by this because I love the theatre seating and layout of this van. Just what we were looking for.

    Amazing outside storage that is not supported by the cargo carrying capacity. Not a fan of a convection microwave mounted that high. I’d like to see it below the stove top but they would have to figure something out for the drawers. Those swivel tables look too high to eat on. Though the chairs are amazing I would probably take a table/booth option as a more practical alternative for me. Other than these rather small dislikes this coach is just freaking stunning. Dynamax does an incredible job. Hopefully the real out the door prices more reasonable.

    Less is more in such a small motorhome. The two slides are taking away from the overall CCC. The oven is heavy, the propane tank, and it all adds up. But the problem is really the Merc chassis, they can’t handle any reasonable RV weight, CCC that is. Much better options for that kind of money, if you like bringing things like food, clothes, and toys. What is that big garage for really? Electric bikes are heavy, imagine bringing two, or extra water, fuel, cooler(s), you know for real life situations. I’m still waiting for one with a “prime p position” Matt. Thanks for the reviews, I enjoy them a lot.

    It would be nice to see how much room is in in the passenger "foot well" so that a passenger could sit comfortably, and not have their legs crammed together on a long trip. The "C" Class motorhomes look to have minimal space. The well is only about 2/3 of the width of the seat - looks horribly uncomfortable.

    I never ever want a bath sink not next to the toilet. I do not want to be touching stuff after going to the loo. Shower separate is fine, it I want the sink and toilet together.

    I was expecting an oven instead of the 3 drawers on the bottom, I would like different colors for the cabinetry and I am agreed that it is a weird place to hook up the water tank anything else it’s perfectly fine for a couple the bunk bed for us will be storage and I would say that it has the perfect shower for a class C that’s the main amenity’s for me but How much will cost me the main question ?🤔👍🏻👋🏻🙏😷 I am living in Tx so I am wondering where I can find these class of RV´s

    Wish it was a square sink with a divider in the middle so you can wash the dishes. those little round sinks are not practical.
    The other thing is the toilet not being porcelain and should be turned in a little bit.

    Great looking Coach, but…the body is Too Large for Chassis and the cargo capacity is much to low, along the Rear Axle is very narrow. I believe that you would have your hands full driving in a crosswinds.
