    One of the best scenes ever filmed in any film, ever!

      My kids are all grown, and - STILL - to this very day - whenever someone comes up with a bad suggestion, one of my kids will do the "how you say... ha... ha... hat dowg... Hot dog.... HOT DOG!" Complete with the hot-dog vendor vernacular at the end.

    It's so funny to think that back then ppl were apprehensive about Italian food and now they can't get enough of it lmao

    Primo was ultimately right. In time people did learn and now you see risotto at almost every fine Italian American establishment.
    And it tastes just as delicious as it may sound.

    "No..."

      Interesting he suggested that since manicotti can be even more expensive and time consuming than risotto. Maybe more popular, though.

    Watching this movie now it’s funny because their restaurant would be slammed every night. Ppl now love authentic Italian food. Back then- ppl didn’t appreciate it as much because in cities like NY, they were on every street corner and they didn’t like Italians.

    0:20 Is this a daily wage or tips collected for day?

    • @rockoperajon
      @rockoperajon 2 года назад +1

      Considering it’s implied that they have almost no customers and the ones they do get are probably very inconsiderate, it was likely daily wages. I doubt the poor guy gets any tips.
