I remember watching this video in December this while procrastinating on writing my college essays. I got accepted to Yale like a week ago and rewatching it now is seriously so exciting. I can't wait!
Just finished my sophomore year at college. So I couldn’t agree more that freshmen year was the most fun and fruitful year a college student could ask for. Good luck for sophomore year and hope you keep making these amazing videos
Im taking AP physics next year(August). I went to my schools website and looked at the book index for science. I saw the textbook used for the course was "Fundamentals of Physics" by Resnick, Halliday, Walker. I was like, well okay, and I looked for a cheap one I could buy online so I could go over the materials early. Couple days later a spot a book at home, its another physics book, its the one my parents used when they were doing their Bachelors in the 90s. Then I took another look at it, and Lo Behold. It was the same book. I had actualy seen the book before and decided to read through it for next year, but never would have thought that it would be the EXACT same book. So yea. That was pretty awesome
Josh Beasley haha, either way you’d probably have a great time and learn a ton. Best of luck to you man. I’m applying EA to Princeton in August. Thanks for all the tips and help!
Hey Josh! I really need your advice if you can help me. 2 days ago I have began to take a very rigorous honors-level Algebra 1 course in order to go into Geometry my freshman year, and I am struggling to keep up with the class. I didn’t do so well on the first test I took yesterday, and just simply cannot remember anything I learn in that class no matter how much I try. This is really hurting my self confidence of being in an honors class my freshman year, and am also nervous of failing this class. I really need to pass this class. Do you have any tips or advice for me? Thanks. Love your videos!
Maxwell Jenkins top colleges do require them... so do you need them?- yes. However, I don't know if they're helpful in college. I would imagine that scoring high in STEM subject tests and low in Humanities might help one decide college courses, major, etc... But I don't know what you mean with "need." In my opinion, yes you need them (If that wasn't already clear from my very long reply)
