Why is your roommates bed in front of the window? Wouldn't more light come in if the desks were both there, side by side and her bed was against the wall where her desk is currently? Her bed would be opposite yours? Just curious.
I got curious about Yale and how the students really live there after watching Gilmore Girls, no surprise at all 🤔😅 First, you seem to be a very nice person and I like your video! But what I really don't get is, why do people pay costs like I think 60.000 € per year (correct me if I'm wrong), when you have to share your dorms, all furniture seems to be old or sometimes broken and you have to share one bathroom with 5 others and also have to clean it for yourself... I mean what does Yale do with all the money from their students? In comparison, here in Germany, most universities are public, you have to pay around 300 € per semester and normally live in your own flat or you share your flat with other students, which means that you pay around 300 to 600 € for rent (it depends on the city where you study). I guess, that there is some kind of difference between super famous universities like Yale and German universities, for sure the quality of the content must be different. But is Yale really worth it going into debt? Is it just the reputation that makes Yale and other ivy league schools so expensive or what do you receive for your money? Greetings 😊 (Ps: sorry, if I possibly made grammar mistakes)
I'm from Italy so I do not know about all but I know that all private colleges cost a lot in the US, even other college that are not an ivy league will cost a fortune, I guess is part of the system, plus scholarships are a thing. But u have to take in mind that the universities that you're talking about that costs 300€ per semester are public, in Italy the price is kinda the same it depends on your economic status, but if u attend a private school you can easily pay up to 10.000€ per year, which is not the same as 60k but it's a lot too. And we don't have that mindsets that US has about debts, in Europe it's a really big deal, in the US is not uncommon for young people to have debts :)
Hi I have a couple questions! Are there some dorms that use communal bathrooms for the entire hall or does every one live in suites with bathrooms in each suite? Does every freshmen live on old campus?
