Mums are necessary for moving in. My mum had my bed made in two seconds flat, and gave things a dust and polish just in case. Plus made sure I had unpacked at least some pyjamas and some outfits for a few days. Hands up for the dads as well, doing the heavy lifting, building furniture and any electrical checks

I love how you've personalized your dorm space. Have you thought about incorporating any plants or greenery to enhance the atmosphere and improve air quality in your room?
I love your channel so much you are my favorite RUclipsr and I am a lil early and when I went to go search your name the video was just waiting for me ❤
yes so in College you get to choose which kind of dorm you want there are standard double rooms, single rooms, suite style rooms, and apartment Style Housing. She choose to have a single room, each room costs a different amount of money
General question from foreign viewer* Why is it that American Dorms dont have kitchens?,in South Africa most of the student Apartments/dorms depending on student living if your sharing, you have your own room, bathroo(sharing) and your roomate has their own room or your sharing, then theres a kitchen. When living alone, you have your kitchen, bathroom and bed...dont they do that in the states?or other countries?
In the U.S., most traditional dorms are set up to encourage students to socialize, with shared spaces like lounges, study areas, and dining halls. Many schools also offer meal plans, so students don’t need kitchens in their rooms. It’s kind of seen as a transition between living at home and living on your own. That said, some universities, especially those with apartment-style dorms or off-campus housing, do have kitchens or kitchenettes, mostly for upperclassmen or students living in more independent setups.
Yes? Depends on college and most times you won't be in the same room if it is communal and obviously at the end of the school year you have to move out to head home maybe.
My brother is in his third year of uni/college and im still in grade 9 and in my country we pick subjects in grade 9 i like watching these vedeos cus its what i want in the future
she’s literally at the university so she has a whole campus full of places to study the room is where you rest and put yourself together if she can’t unplug in her own room she would go nuts
@ most people study in campus as well as in their rooms, would be weird if she could get done all of her studies outside, not even close if one has a very demanding course.
@@simplyboppingK Embarrassing. Also what has you so heated over a mattress cover?? People don't *need* a lot of stuff, it's just nice. Next time mind your own business.

Wait, you don’t share the rooms? I have seen so many videos of people moving in to their university’s dorms, but they usually have roommates.

You do NOT need a mattress topper. The mattresses are FINE. Y'all are just high maintenance.
My college mattress is from 1999, and one side is higher than the other. The mattress topper saved me.
It looks like someone didn't get a matress cover.
@@StoicMao because shocker... you DONT NEED ONE???? I know that shocking for your dumb generation :)
