I always thought the giant dorm rooms were a movie thing. My dorm was ... space efficient.
This dorm room is STUNNING. I graduated from a small-ish public school a few years ago and my dorm rooms were tiny cement cubicles lol
Same here, but most dorms in my country look like they stopped in time 30 years ago. They’re all so ugly and small. Now because of the situation with immigrants most of them are full and students with special needs can’t even get a place.

Can I like design your rooms? That space had so much potential…. And seeing that window seat made me cry, gosh I’d have this room like a damn fairy room is I lived there 😂
I WAS GONNA SAY i love this room but girl the layout and decorating is horrendous 😭
That little window seat would have been my coffee drinking spot. It's a nice room but being right next to the stairs and across the elevator wood be too noisy for me. I wonder if the room next to the bathroom hears flushing day and night. 😅
I would use that window seat for a reading corner and drinking tea whenever ✨ honestly i would love a window seat like that when i live on my own because that would be awesome
If you’re a fan of Gilmore Girls, how does the shows portrayal of Yale compare to the actual experience? Doesn’t look too far off based on your video.

Must be so weird seeing characters going into your college, my country don't make movies or tv show so idk how itt feels when characters mention stuff that aren't fictional but exist in your life

Yale’s architecture is gorgeous. My university prioritised function over beauty so it’s literally just concrete and glass.

Really late to this video because life has been hectic, but watched as a study break this afternoon. Love the room tour, especially the bed space. You really have been lucky with dorm rooms at Yale! Will catch up on your next video once this hectic week is over.
Flatten your boxes and stick them under your bed so you can more easily access the bench by the windows 🙂

Hey there! Yale College grad here. Fun to see your room! Things on campus really have changed, and then again, not really. When you showed Harkness Tower at about 10:00, that reminded me of living near the bells in Branford College. I lived in Vanderbilt on Old Campus my freshman year and the signs telling people to clean the bathroom could easily be the exact same signs that were there when I was there. Lol have fun. Yale is fantastic. 💙💙

Have you tried moving your dresser to where you fridge and then placing the fridge on top of it? It'll make more room for food storage on top of the dresser.

The room is sooooo pretty Yale is my dream school to go to.
So cool. And the view is amazing. My dorm room was much smaller and less beautiful, but I had my own tiny bathroom and a stove. That's usual in Germany, the dorm rooms here are mini flats without common rooms.
I really think this channel would be great inspiration for middle school kids to have a college goal.

Wow, that's about 3 times the size of my little room at uni in wales and mine was not especially tiny. I opted for shared bathroom and thus more space. They had ensuite rooms but they were tiny.

Still baffles me how this is a 'suite' in America.... 😂 in the UK we'd have an en-suite with your own bathroom. and the whole sharing a room with people is crazy to me how it still exists in a country like America
Plus this is SUPER nice for a college. I go to a public university and I had a tiny room (about half the size of this) with someone I didn’t like and had to share a bathroom with everyone else on my floor. I hated it and I hate that it’s the normal 👍🏻
Same in France ! I can’t understand how it is possible to share your room and bathroom with 10 others people at College ! The minimum would be to offer some privacy to students
Maybe Americans are just more social. I loved having roomies in college.
I went to uni in Edinburgh and in student accommodation we each had a private bedroom but shared 1.5 bathrooms between 5 people 🤷♀️ think it depends on your uni

The university of Colorado Colorado Springs has a kitchen dining room living room bedroom the dorm is big but lacking a sink in the kitchen and refrigerator the stove I would expect more from Yale..
