So just a quick correction this is a IGT gas piston air rifle not a spring air rifle that was my mistake when I was doing my review so sorry about that still a great air rifle for the price.

It is a very accurate rifle with the right pellet and using the right sensitivity hold for the rifle as well.
Every pellet rifle out there has a certian kind of pellet and weight of pellet it likes so far mine loves the JSB 18.13 pellets I am sure there are others like H& N pellets that woudl work with the right weight as well but I had the JSB pellets already and they work great so no need to try anything else for me.
Let me know how it goes and if you have any questions that I can help with I will do my best to answer them just rememet right pellet and right hold and right trigger pull and once you get thos 3 things down you will crush it. Also never bag rest a break barral air rifle as they do not shoot as accurate when you do that. always have your hand betewwn the bag and the rifle.

The accuracy on gamo has come a long way over the years. My brother had a gamo probably 10 years ago and the barrel would flop open after each shot and the accuracy was terrible (couldn’t hit a pie plate at 10yrds). I recently bought a gamo whisper and I can hit a penny 9 out of 10 times at 35yrds. You can’t ask for anything better than that for $150.

    • @BravoBassin

@@bolts-wagon8005 thanks for the great comment and ya Gamo has come a long way for sure.
But I will say this I have a Gamo Varmit hunter I bought back in 2012 and it was and still is a tack driver at 30yds.
THe biggest thing with break berral air rifles is one finsing the right pellet to shoot and they all seem to like one certian one the best.
NAd 2 always check your stock screws and the screws by the trigger and make sure there tight.
then the last thing is your hold getting the hold right and trigger squeeze will increase you accuracy 100%.
The older gamo's were a lot more violent in there recoil and vreated and heck of alot more shock and jump.
I will be making a video about my old gamo comin gup sometime this year to talk about how far they have come since I bought it.

I have only shot it out to 40yds so far so I do not know what type of groups it will get at 50yds But with air guns like the bone collector I do not usually shoot at anything past 40yds as I use it for small game and pest control.
I will say it is a little more hold sensitive then my gamo DX .22 which I really like as well.
I just got the Gamo CFW underlever .22 and I have videos on the way of that rifle.
if you are looking for longer range accuracy I would definitely recommend you checking the gamo CFX.22 out.

Back to the bone collector it is a very nice air rifle and well made so it is one I would recommend as well and a great one to have in your air rifle collection and mine has put a good dent in my local pest population that is for sure!

I have 4 Gamo's the Accu underlever 22 , Hunter Extreme .177 gen 1 , the Magnum gen 2 in 22 , and the Maxxim .177 . I always seem to find myself grabbing a rifle that doesn't rely on air support either a multi-pump or break barrel . I do have pcp's as well but I often find them boring because they can hit the same hole all day long but depend on air to function . Break barrels are very hold sensitive but they can improve your shooting ability greatly. Recently purchased a Diana model 54 Air King Pro Laminate 22 and already sent it back for a full refund because of problems right out of the box . This is a 800.00 rifle ( REALLY ? ) . Before that I purchased a Dragonfly Mark 2 .177 and sent back for a replacement . Unit number 2 is awesome so far . I think quality control is lacking with some of these big website vendors . It should never happen . I see you shoot left handed and I do as well , but I can also shoot right handed . Its refreshing to see someone who doesn't rely on sponsors to send them any product they want. And no 2K FX in site WOW . 🤣😁👍.

thanks for the great comment. And I too own a few PCP air rifles but ya know FX ones at all as I think they are way over priced and there are plenty of more budget friendly air rifles out there that shoot just as good in my opinion.
But I am a bigger fan of break barrel air rifles over the PCP air rifles as well and I prefer them over a PCP air rifle.
I do own a few high end spring air rifles that I will be reviewing down the road as I have a few weihrauch and beeman air rifles and hands down are my favorite springers to shoot as well.
But my budget friendly Gamo air rifles do pretty dang good as well.

well lets define bad does it work and will it get you by till yo can get a better scope sure it will do that.
its has no mil dot no adjustable AO and after so many shots you will be re sighting it in.
And after owning several Gamo air rifles and shooting them over the years and I love my gamo air rifle by the way I have just come to my own personal conclusion that the scopes they put in these bundles kinda suck!
love the guns hate the scopes but that a is just me and my experiences with these scopes and guns.
For me I always by either a UTG mil dot 3x9x40 AO or a Hawk mil dot 4x32AO or even a centerpoint mil dot 3x9x40
I am currently testing out a hatsan optima mil dot 3x9x40AO scope that runs $59 at bass pro shops and I decided to test it out because I bought a hatsan95 a few years ago and it has stayed true for years now so figured I would test one of there nicer scopes out and see how it goes.
the UTG hunter mil dot scope which I have on my gamo DX is a 3X9X40mil dot no adjustable AO but for $69 it is a nice scope but I will be changing it out to a hawk 4x32AO mil dot down the road.

It's a beechwood. A good material, anyway. However, you are very much wrong about one thing: in relation with POWERFULL springers, plastic stock has 3 advantages over the wooden one, two of them being more important than the third one. These are: 1) plastic stock adheres to metal body (receiver) better, whereas the wooden one tends to vibrate more and to "run away" from metal; 2) for the same reason, plastic/polymer stock resonates less than wooden one thus the recoil gets more dampened/buffered/suppressed (that's why, usually, the screws that press the stock against the receiver get loosen on wooden stocks more often than on plastic); number 3 is general - wooden stocks are much more sensitive to humidity. Word of advice: if you have a choice within the same model of an airgun, one variant being with wooden stock and the other with plastic, if it's PCP/CO2, opt for wood, if it's a springer/gas ram choose the plastic variant.
    Good review. Thanx.

    • @BravoBassin
      @BravoBassin  6 месяцев назад +1

Well I will have to respectfully dis agree with you on the wood stocks over plastic stocks as I have found that wood stocks absorb the shock of the spring or gas ram way better then any plastic stock.
and as far as screws backing out I have always had more issues with guns with plastic stocks backing out over and wood stock as well uless it is my weihrauch HW97K that is the only one that I love with a sythetic stocck on it.
I will always take a wood stock on a springer over a sythetic stock any day of the week.
Now with PCP air rifles I do not care actually prefer sythetic with them.
      But never with a springer.
Not sure how you came to all those very bad kinda crazy conclusions in my opinion but we will have to agree to dis agree.
thanks for watching the video as i do appreciate it and the comment.

@@BravoBassin OK, agreed to disagree. Though, if you want to really get deep into the matter, consult the technology experts and I guarantee they will confirm my words. The thing is: plastic (the kind that is used for stocks mostly) is more flexible than breech and/or nutwood/walnut wood, so, when hard-pressed against metal (or any other rigid material) it "follows" the line, so to speak, or, in other words is more "compliant", tends to stick to the metal, to stay "in a position" after being more or less bended by screws (pardon me if I'm too wordy, English is not my native language, thus I try to use different expressions trying to explain same views/ thoughts hoping I will be understood better).

And I awlays say in my videos I am no expert this is just what I have learned in my experiences and testing and that is all I can do.
thanks again for watching the channel.

Nice looking gun. Most likely it's Poplar They wouldn't put Walnut on a gun at that price point. I don't believe.

no crony results, no trigger pull test, basically you talking for almost a half hour with a few shots on a shoot-and-see, I can see why you only have 1k subs

Well let me explain something to you dipshit.
Not everyone cares about that crap.
All most people care about is does it shoot accurately and can it kill the critters I want to shoot with it.
on top of the fact I know how to read and actually know how to use a computer to look up specs of the air rifles I want to buy so I have no need for a chronograph or a trigger pull tester to try and please assholes like you.
But feel free to send me the money to buy one of each if you like.
I do not need to know the exact pull weight of the trigger all I do is adjust it to my liking and start shooting.
I do not make videos to try and please whinny little bitches like you and if you do not like my videos then do not watch them.
Because no one gives a shit about what you think or have to say.
      .
