Hi Dan my son and myself have been messing about with traction engines for a couple of years now starting with a 2" Durham then a 3" fowler I'm now building a 4" Foster we recently had a driving day experience on a full size engine in the new forest it was a fantastic day and the engines seem to get easier to handle the bigger they get! There is alot going on, but it's all manageable.
