I've recently got into steam traction engines after getting the privilege of steering a 1927 Foden showmans wagon at Powderham castle. I'm going to my first proper steam fair next month in Devon. Fingers crossed for some nice weather. Keep up the good work with your videos. ✌️
Lovely video Dan! Good depth of soil there for growing stuff, not so good for rallying on. Looks like everyone was mucking in and helping each other though. 👌
Looks like quite a good one but those ruts and the fact you're based opposite the spit bangs would be me off a tadge. One for me to keep an eye on to see if they improve things me thinks.

Thank you. we're in Cornwall next weekend at the Bocconoc Steam Rally
@@SteamOTR I can't make that event sadly, but I'll be going to the Torbay Steam Fair. Fingers crossed for nice weather for both events 🤞
Another great video Dan. Thank You. Good to see all the hard work paying off and everyone enjoying themselves.
Thanks. Really glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah, cracking weekend. Decent layer of light loamy sil on top of clay!

It's a great rally, and hopefully the ground will improve.
Can't help wondering when you ll be looking for a big engine for yourself Dan
Hehe - Yes, I'd love to, but still a long way off financially.
