Great Video. O love the folder and baste stitch. But I have a Necchi machine. It does have a blind hem foot. But all I can make it do is a zig zag stitch. How do I set the machine to do the stitches you show in the video?
Great video, thank you! No disrespect intended, just honest feedback...It would be so much easier to listen to the instructors on videos if there was not music playing as loud as the speaker.

www.bernina.com/en-US/Accessories-US/Sewing-Accessories/Supporting-Sewing-Accessories/Snap-on-shank-78 This is the shank that will work on the 350 and 770 for the snap-on style foot that comes with the 350
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong (still learning) but when I stitch the hem it catches some of the basting. This makes it a pain to remove afterwards.
A blind hem on stretch fabric can be tricky. A more suitable hem finish would be a coverstitch (BERNINA L 220 or BERNINA 1300 MDC). If sewn on a sewing machine, we recommend a super stretch stitch, narrow zigzag or a twin needle.
This is the best explanation of blind hemming with a Bernina!
Thank you! This was so!!! Helpful! Thank you for using a true hem, and not just folding a piece of fabric!
Great video. I have been sewing for 60 years and have not mastered blind hemming until seeing this!
Thank you
Me too - it is a game changer - not thought of stitching the size 5 seam first. I have always sewn these hems by hand - not any more!
I love the tricks of adding the basting stitch and using the piece of folder.
I'm trying this tomorrow! Thank you for posting!
Thanks for your comment. Have fun and good luck! 👍
This video was perfect.... I was able to hem up a pair of fine wool slacks for my son-in-law and they looked professionally done! Thank you!
At last! I can use this on my Bernina ! Wonderful explanation thankyou
I never thought of doing it this way.

Dear Jenny, although we would love to help, we can't tell you how a Necchi machine works. Please get in touch with Necchi.

Thank you for your fast reply..
You should have done this on trousers
Whats this fabric?
The music is WAY too loud, it's very difficult to hear the speaker.
