Let me tell you why they flake. 1) At the time they gave positive signals, they were actually interested. But only in that immediate moment. In that moment you were infront of them. You were new. There are some women/girls who actually have a conscious, and try not to hurt guys' feelings. They don't have it in them to come right out and be hostile, cold or hateful to you. So they say that they have a boyfriend, or they friend zone you. Or they "play hard to get," or they "test" you. All of these things are just soft rejection. But that's what war is. For me, all of this was way back in the 80's and early 90's, when I was in my teens and twenties. Hi, I'm an 18-year-old college freshman girl who enjoys watching your videos. I feel like I have been in a situation similar to this recently so I figured I'd offer my perspective. This past Thursday, I got approached by a guy who asked me for my number. He seemed really sweet, so I gave it to him. Pretty much right away, he started ferociously trying to make plans to hang out in person. I am also a very introverted person who doesn't really like when people throw themselves at me like this without giving me at least a little bit of space, so it was quite off-putting for me specifically. On Saturday (2 days after he got my number), he texted me asking if I wanted to have dinner at one of the restaurants on campus. I was doing homework at the time he texted me that, and had my phone charging on the other side of the room with notifications off. Once I was done for the night, I checked my phone, and saw that he had tried to call me! He had texted me sometime during when I was doing my homework, asking if I wanted to get dinner with him, and after I had not responded 5 minutes later, he called me. I didn't end up replying to the dinner text because it had been sent a couple hours ago at that point, so I figured it was too late. The next morning, I checked my texts, and he had texted me "I like you a lot, but I'm disappointed that you didn't reply". I found this really odd, because he had only met me 2 days ago and he was already 1. saying that he liked me "a lot", and 2. acting like I owed him a response. At this point, I've kind of been avoiding him, and I've pretty much concluded that I don't want to talk to him or hang out with him. I feel like I would've wanted to get to know him and see where things went if he wasn't so pushy about it. As an introvert loner who has never received this kind of attention before, his insistence honestly scared me away. I don't really know if anyone's going to read all of this, but either way, it helped me to just put this rant somewhere. I'd appreciate any thoughts on my situation, if you have any. This is my first time dealing with something like this. Was there anything you thought I did "wrong" here? Is what he did completely normal and I'm just overreacting? I would love to hear your opinions.

There are some women/girls who actually have a conscious, and try not to hurt guys' feelings. They don't have it in them to come right out and be hostile, cold or hateful to you. So they say that they have a boyfriend, or they friend zone you. Or they "play hard to get," or they "test" you. All of these things are just soft rejection. Which actually hurts more, in the long run, than strait out hostile and hateful rejection. I was lucky in this, because all I ever got was wrinkled up noses, looks of disgust, disdain, and occasionally, laughter and negative remarks about my face. Which led to public embarrassment, and drove my anger and bitterness towards women. Especially over the poor treatment and poor customer service, that I received in stores and restaurants.
The worst though, was when you would end up having to fight the chad that they sometimes sent to attack you. Which made "chasing girls" going to war. It meant losing, even if you won the fight. But that's what war is. For me, all of this was way back in the 80's and early 90's, when I was in my teens and twenties. This is/was because for most men, having dates, girlfriends, and eventually, a wife, is just a part of the natural progression of Life. Hi, I'm an 18-year-old college freshman girl who enjoys watching your videos. I feel like I have been in a situation similar to this recently so I figured I'd offer my perspective. This past Thursday, I got approached by a guy who asked me for my number. He seemed really sweet, so I gave it to him. Pretty much right away, he started ferociously trying to make plans to hang out in person. The things he was suggesting weren't like a casual walk around campus or hanging out at the coffee shop, they were pretty long and involved activities. Maybe it's normal to start planning full-fledged outings right away (I wouldn't know because I don't have much dating experience), but I thought it was kind of weird because I didn't know anything about the guy. I am also a very introverted person who doesn't really like when people throw themselves at me like this without giving me at least a little bit of space, so it was quite off-putting for me specifically.
On Saturday (2 days after he got my number), he texted me asking if I wanted to have dinner at one of the restaurants on campus. I was doing homework at the time he texted me that, and had my phone charging on the other side of the room with notifications off. Once I was done for the night, I checked my phone, and saw that he had tried to call me! He had texted me sometime during when I was doing my homework, asking if I wanted to get dinner with him, and after I had not responded 5 minutes later, he called me. I didn't end up replying to the dinner text because it had been sent a couple hours ago at that point, so I figured it was too late. The next morning, I checked my texts, and he had texted me "I like you a lot, but I'm disappointed that you didn't reply". I found this really odd, because he had only met me 2 days ago and he was already 1. saying that he liked me "a lot", and 2. acting like I owed him a response.
At this point, I've kind of been avoiding him, and I've pretty much concluded that I don't want to talk to him or hang out with him. I feel like I would've wanted to get to know him and see where things went if he wasn't so pushy about it. As an introvert loner who has never received this kind of attention before, his insistence honestly scared me away.
I don't really know if anyone's going to read all of this, but either way, it helped me to just put this rant somewhere. I'd appreciate any thoughts on my situation, if you have any. This is my first time dealing with something like this. Was there anything you thought I did "wrong" here? Is what he did completely normal and I'm just overreacting?
