This was my mode of transport for almost 3 yrs when I was in Pune. I love this train a lot, saves my a complete day time.

Dinesh panchal ji Mai every year 4 see 6 baar shatabdi me Chandigarh to Delhi and back travel karti hu last 4 years se. I have enough experience to say that....food is tasteless corn floor wali Dal aur greavy.... Because I am a woman...itna to bol hi sakte hai ki khana kaise bana hai. Soup ice cream and other things achha hota hai but main course is not good.

This Shatabdi train I liked a lot.... I went to Pune from Secunderabad.... It was a superb journey

Thank u for posting this, finally someone is showing other trains instead of just the crowded ones with no ac , this train looks quite comfortable.

This is a very different looking Shatabdi. Thank god Indian railways have improved. The chicken and non vegetarian food has always been very delicious in trains. These guys really know how to cook very good Biryani's & curries.
Anubhuti coaches are modern LHB coaches being introduced in Shatabdi trains slowly to provide aircraft like experience.

We travelled by this train from Solapur to Pune. And we too travelled in executive coach. It was a wonderful experience. This video refreshed our memories.

Indian Railways is doing wonderfully well. It all boils down good management by the Minister. You have the right attitude at the top level things fall in place and Railways is doing right things. Keep it up Mr. Piyush Goel

Shatabdi Trains are running since almost 50 years. And left about Minister, the railway Minister doesn't does much because his work is just to approve funds and nothing. Everything that we experience is done by the proud Railway officers and we should appreciate them instead of the Railway Minister
😅 I am sorry but all of you are wrong here. I am saying these things to you as my grandfather, my father and uncle all work for Indian Railways. All these food and items and their qualities are neither looked after nor managed by the government. There are different private companies who run this business. They have plan and they put this forward to the administrative department of the railways. The company who who put forward the cheapest yet the best plan forward are given the contract are then selected by the government officials.They have a tenure period .After the tenure is over again this same process is repeated.

You're getting all this luxury because you're travelling in Anubhuti ( Executive 1st Class ) that's why so much treatment.
No. The entire train has only two types of compartments, one is 'chair car' and the other is 'first class'. They both are same and even they serve the same stuff in the same way. The difference is 'chair car' has 5 chairs in a row while 'first class' has 4 chairs, so more spacious but double the price.
Treatment is same in three tier also.but food is tasteless. I'm traveling by shatabdi from last 5 years. 4-6 times per year
It’s been been very long that I have seen your vlog which was about “Mandi 36 “ I was very impressed with that video , and now after many months got this video of Shatabdi today on my list , and without wasting any time I just have gone through the video blindly cause I was sure it’s going to be perfect and it was .

True..thats the exact concern we have after seeing improved services in our trains..sadly i saw a few covers of food boxes for lunch already lying on the floor..hope the folks cleared it after they had their lunch..

Recently Anubhuti coach improves the service now they also serves cornflakes with milk & tomato soup replaces with mushroom soup. The difference I experienced in CC & EC is comfortable seats & ambience rest meals serves is same.

Once the train 18 starts on this route you will love to travel as the speed will be much higher than this and duration will come down to 7hrs or less...

Like you, i too used to travel by Indian railways in the 80s/90s and then used air travel as the preferred means post 2000. After looking at this, i have to say railways has improved greatly and in par with many countries around the world. I will surely experience this, thanks for sharing.

Once I had to come back Pune from hyd so my dad booked ticket of shatabdhi so the timming is 2:30 and I reached station by that time but guys believe me train was late of about 4 hours which means 4:20. It was my worst journey

The food( dinner)is useless and I was down for 2 days with stomach pain and loose motion after having food loaded from Solapur on Secunderabad -Pune leg.This coach seems to be the EC and not the CC.I now opt for the no food option on the ticket.Prefer getting some Hyderabadi Biryani packed from Hyderabad.Also had cockroaches in the Toilet area and coming almost upto middle of the compartment.The date of last pest control schedule was not visible and was purposely rubbed to invisibility.This was about 1 year back

I just love Shatabdi's breakfast omelette. Every time I taste it, I love it a little bit more. Also their breadstick and soup combo is always good.
