You have no idea to whom you are talking, and how well acquainted they are with what went on behind closed doors.
Mostly the people to whom Diana was beastly, simply keep quiet about it, because Charles did not want the Royal Family embarrassed by her behaviour, and people are loyal to Charles' request for privacy. But then not everyone feels they OUGHT to keep quiet. Or that doing so is in the best interest of the Prince whom they love and respect.

She was probably having a panic attack. Not many people knew what that was back then, and would lack the empathy to know what to do. As a sufferer of anxiety myself, I can definitely relate to the urgency of having to leave this very public event as soon as possible. It must have been terrifying for her.

Is there any truth to that? Surely, in the late 80s and early 90s, people knew it was a thing and had a fair medical understanding. Obviously not as good as now but speaking as someone with anxiety and panic disorder, I have seen plenty of historical literature on the subject and they seemed to have a grasp on it by the 80s.
💯 agree I had my first panic attack at 16 and the doctors thought I was high 😡😡😡😡😡 1978 Canada. I was diagnosed in 1994 with clinical depression and anxiety disorder..after many many attempts to get help...still today I get them but I now have tools as well doing loads of work to prevent them...it’s not an easy thing. And my family was like so many, completely ignorant and dismissive which isn’t helpful. Diana believed in Charles...after all he never proposed to anyone else..it’s all so sad ❤️❤️❤️✌️❤️🇨🇦🌎💪

Diana is a story of a young girl destined to become a princess. She fell in love with a prince, she thought was her true love. Maybe it was her two boys that helped her to realize that she has to rise up, live again and fight back. From the young, naive, helpless princess, she grew into a strong, independent, powerful woman. What a sad story. Then again, in her short life, she showed the world how to survive, how to truly love, how to be graceful, how to be true to herself, how to triumph. So, I guess, it wasn’t a sad story after all. She lived a beautiful life.

Honestly, in my country we used to look up to the british sense of decorum and self control. And that incredible, touching BLUSHING…that moved so many people because it revealed her raw vulnerability. I along with many others loved her blushing (even though she didn’t like it and saw it as a “handicap.” That also made her so real and so DEEP. I can never imagine most of the Hollywood stars or even many other classically beautiful models blushing the way she did.

I was there that day. I was on the horse lines as I was a polo groom. Diana had left as she was so stressed out at all the relentless attention she was getting and she wasn't used to it. Charles visited the horse lines after the polo game ended and I remember thinking I wish I could go up to him and say "What are you doing still being here? Shouldn't you be with Diana supporting her and helping her it will all be alright" I thought it was so wrong carrying on playing polo when he was aware his very young vunerable bride-to-be was so upset.

She was just 19. She barely knew her way around. Charles was mature and promised before God that he would look after her. Then he started two timing her. He was actually involved with Camilla before marriage and so was cheating Diana all along. Shame on him

You have to remember Camilla was a very very close friend to Charles, a confidante...god knows he needed one. Ringing her is totally acceptable if he did, he said in his interview that he was not unfaithful until the marriage had 'irretrievably broken down'....which is when he couldn't stand Diana's moods and jealousy anymore. She wanted him to ditch all his friends, staff and dog! Can't blame him for eventually going back into Camilla arms, and probably after Diana started her numerous affairs!

There's a reason why William likes to spend Christmas with Kate's parents the Middletons and there's a reason why Harry and Meghan left to live in the US (among other things it was reported that Camilla was the one who talked about the color of Archie's skin and how it would affect the RF image). I think that Harry may return to the UK once William is King but that remains to be seen.
