      That's probably not a good thing, you know. Feeling pressure to churn out content every single day means the quality of the content may be compromised, and Dr. Dray may offer lower quality products or suggestions as a result. It's what happened to Dr. Oz - man had to make an hour-long show five days a week, and after a certain point most of his suggestions became trash. He ended up getting sued for it.
      Dr. Dray goes beyond that and posts SEVEN days a week; even worse than Oz.

    I do TCA peels, on a regular basis, at home, and it's been the best thing for my skin. I have done them for years. If you end up getting with any discoloration, just go over it with a lighter tca peel until it gets erased, but I personally would rather have a slight amount of discoloration. I would exchange a slight amount of discoloration to get rid of light lines.. This is my experience, but I don't want to be responsible for you, you need to do your own research, but for myself, it's been a great thing. The discoloration came, after I did tca peels, for many years, and I don't even know for sure if the tca peel had anything to do with that. Like I said my tiny bit of discoloration doesn't even bother me. I figured out if I use a lighter tca, the discoloration will start to fade eventually.

    I love chemical peels, I am 56. I have been doing them since about 35, and it is the reason my face was looking so much better than the rest of my arms, legs and chest. Well, I fixed that! I do them myself because I could not get the "professionals" nowadays to do them like I used to get them done. In my opinion, you are wasting your time and money with light peels.

      @A H I never said I could not get a body peel from the people I see. What I said is most professionals (from the spas) today don't want to do the really deep peels that look like you are a snake shedding its skin. I don't know if it is a gimmick to get you to keep coming back or what but it was turning into a trend. So, that is why I just went back to doing them myself.

    • @peacenloveforall6

      @@Hellothere1244 To be clear, I would recommend starting out with a professional just to see how your skin reacts. But make sure you let them know what you are looking for...re deep peel with snake peeling skin.
      No I am not a professional but I just know that the light peels did nothing, were expensive and a waste of money....for me.

    Hi. I did a 20% tca peel 2weeks and my face refused to peel InSheets. I tried it again last night and my face looks burnt and swollen. Since it didn’t work. I plan on doing a lactic acid peel in 7 days. I wanted to remove a white spot on my face as well as acne scars and sun damage.

    • @whitneyangelie3682
      @whitneyangelie3682 2 года назад +2

      Your skin is not going to “peel in sheets” with a 20% TCA peel. It’s not even close to being a high enough percentage. That should only be done in office and takes an extremely high % of TCA or Phenol (I’m talking like 50-80% ) Do not EVER try to do it at home you can cause permanent burns to your skin . I’m an aesthetician and even I wouldn’t try that at home. I only trust a doctors hands at that point. Also you need to give your skin time to heal between peels or your skin won’t know whether it’s coming or going.

I've ALWAYS had problems with acne, and now rosacea and diet related inflammation in my skin. And I've always felt pretty hopeless about what to do. AND...now I'm 65. Wish I'd done something sooner, but it was always never convenient for down-time. Now, I'm retired, Mom passed, and no one except husband really depending on me. I'm pretty much a homebody now, and don't have to (want to) go out anymore. So, yes, I feel this is the perfect time to get something done. However, I could kick the bucket tomorrow, but oh well! I'm doing it! I will go out looking good, LOL! (I HOPE!) With regards to skin peeling during down-time, WEAR A MASK. NO ONE will question it, lol!
